Review: Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer - Fenty Glow

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminzer is probably one of the most famous lip glosses right now and everyone seems to love it. It's just a gloss, but I think the formula is so comfortable to wear and shade Fenty Glow is just one of those universally flattering shades, so it really caters to all shiny lips lovers. I always though it was too expensive, but it was on sale and I decided to finally try it.

Review: Essence LE Pink & Proud

Essence's newest limited edition called Pink & Proud is part of their campaign that is all about acceptance, dealing with bullying and about individuality that young people can struggle with in times of social media and pressures to look perfect. This is collection to celebrate each individual, be proud and make a bold statement.

November 2021 Favorites

Some of my favorite products that I have been using in November and short descriptions. Some are my old favorites that I am trying to use up as well as some brand new products that grew on me. All very affordable choices this month.

Review: Colourpop Pressed Powder Shadow - Ringer and Snake Eyes

I have been a lover of single pressed powder shadows from Colourpop ever since I started buying products from them. It's so convenient to choose just the shades that you want and putting them in an empty palette to create your own color scheme. Plus they are very affordable while still having great quality. I have added two new shades to my collection Ringer and Snake Eyes.

Review: Catrice New Products Autumn/Winter 21/22

Another season is around and Catrice has again revamped their regular stand with new products for upcoming season. I have been testing some of them out. Here are my quick reviews.

October 2021 Favorites

There isn't a lot of products in this month's favorites. I have been trying out some new products, but mostly just using up my old favorites when it comes to skin care.

Review: Beautypharmacy Products - Uriage, SVR, Sebamed, Lazartigue

Beautypharmacy is new online store that has a lot of pharmacy skin care and hair care brands and they always have great deals and discounts. They have become my first stop when I want some of the brands that they have as they always have best pricing, much lower than in our physical stores. I had the chance to try a few of their products out and here are my short thoughts on those.

September 2021 Favorites

Review: Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor - 710 HD Desert

I think I found another favorite lip formula from Revlon. I have very few lip products from them, but all are very loved and very comfortable to wear. This is another one of those ultra comfortable formulas that I always have in my bag on the go.

Review: Caudalie Vinosource-Hydra Products

Vinosource range from Caudalie has been recently revamped with new design and more recyclable packaging. I have to say the new pink design is lovely. Caudalie is known for grapes as one of the main ingredients in their ranges. I remember their Beauty Elixir water being iconic back in the days and every makeup artist used it.

August 2021 Favorites

August has been the most summery months so far. I had a short getaway to the sea, spend most of my time in summery dresses and simple summer makeup as well as had some family time and expanded my knowledge of beauty treatments. Here are some of products that I loved in this summer heat.

Review: Garnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive Expert+ Face Super UV Fluid SPF 50+

I believe this has been renamed, though I am not sure to what exactly. But it's still in paper box with the same plastic packaging that looks very similar to La Roche-Posay Shaka Fluid which is also the one that it gets compared to the most.

July 2021 Favorites

My favorites list is getting shorter every month, because I'm just not experimenting as much as I used to with makeup. I've been testing lots of new skin care, but there is more body products in this months favorites. In the summer I always go back to my favorite fragrance combo as well.

Review: Colourpop Super Shock Shadow - Ritz and Mycelium

If there's one product from Colourpop that is legendary, it's their Super Shock Shadows. Creamy mousse like formula that becomes powdery on the skin and great choices of colors is something that anyone can use in their collection. I tend to buy new shades whenever Colourpop has free shipping and recently I added two to my collection.

June 2021 Favorites

I was trying out some new hair care and body care products this month, as well as loving my old eyeshadow palettes and some of my summer staples.

Review: Uriage Barriederm-CICA Daily Serum, Age Protect Muti-Action Intensive Serum and SVR [Pepti]Biotic Regenerating Smoothing Matt Gel

I've been experimenting so much with skin care lately. It's just one of those things you get more into as you get older. No makeup looks good, if you don't have your skin care in check. With age also comes the need for more active ingredients that can actually help with ageing signs and I've been exploring three different ranges from Uriage and SVR in the past months. I have to say all of the were a hit.

Review: Colourpop Lux Liquid Lipstick - Room Service

I have a few of Colourpop old liquid lipstick formulas. Their Satin formula was very pigmented, but also a bit more of that proper matte liquid lipstick that can be drying. For some reason Colourpop decided to change their lip formulas and they are now called Lux Liquid Lipsticks. Formula is definitely different.

Review: Catrice Spring/Summer 2021 Products

Catrice has again revamped their stand in the start of spring, but I just came around testing all of these products properly. Here are my thoughts on which products are worth a try, if you're considering getting any. I love Catrice as a brand in general, some of their products are my favorites that I keep rebuying while others are a fail. But you really can't go wrong at that price range.

May 2021 Favorites

Another month where I focused mostly on my skin care, while also testing out some new makeup from Colourpop which quickly became my favorite again.

Review: Revlon Photoready Candid Antioxidant Concealer - 015 Light

I loved Revlon Photoready Candid foundation, so when they came out with concealer I gave it a try, even though I didn't find my perfect shade match. It turns out I don't share the same love for both.

Review: Skintegra Infrared

Skintegra is one of those brands that I got introduced to through my fellow skin care bloggers. They've been raving about their formula. It's Croatian skin care brand that offers vegan and cruelty free products. They believe in mild and consistent skin care. I was ordering some other products and decided to try one from Skintegra as well. When it comes to skin care I love serums as I feel they contribute the most and is where I like to invest my money in. So I got Skintegra Infrared serum

Review: Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink Liquid Lipsticks

Maybelline Superstay Ink Liquid Lipsticks have gained a lot of love, when they first came out. I remember many loving them as one of the more long lasting formula that is readily available in drugstore. I wanted to try it out and it turns out these are nice for when you want something that lasts, but don't want your lips to suffer too much.

Review: SVR Ampoule [A] Lift

It might be that I am in my thirties or the fact that the past year just didn't gave us much opportunities for wearing makeup, but I am getting a lot more interested in skin care. Particularly investing in products with active ingredients, those that actually make a difference on your skin in the long term. I've been introduced to SVR while shopping for eczema creams, but I've since tried a few of their face products as well. SVR Amouple [A] Lift was one of those products that I immediately liked, because I could feel results the day after I used it.

April 2021 Favorites

Spring is in full bloom and my makeup choices reflect that. I have been loving pinks and lighter makeup to match my mood to the outside. I am featuring this gorgeous Japanese Dogwood on today's photos to bring you some of those spring vibes.

Brand Favorites: Best of Avon

I decided that I will do a few posts focusing on one brand and my favorite products from them. I think this is especially useful for brands like Avon, because you can't try out and see their products in person. Avon was one of the first brands that started working with me as a new blogger and it's also one of the first beauty brands that I started buying from, when my interest of makeup started growing. Most people hate their selling strategy and I don't like it either, but they have some amazing products that I always recommend to others.

Fresh Natural Makeup

Based on the situation in the world and times we are in, there has been a lot more natural makeup looks going around than previously. They say that after every depressing season comes a new revival with excess. Until that happens, we are going to enjoy some spring weather and fresh natural makeup. Here are a few of my tips how to get that natural look that enhances what you already have and doesn't look too made up.

Review: Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara

I feel like this is the new L'Oreal Lash Paradise. It has gained some major popularity on Tik Tok. I was a fan of the original Lash Sensational, so I thought I might like this one too and I do.

Creams for Atopic Dermatitis

I have been dealing with atopic dermatitis since I was four years old. When I was little this meant being allergic to pretty much everything, dealing with cracked, scratched, dry, flaky skin that never properly healed and insufferable itching. My journey continued with the use of corticosteroid cream and then just when I stepped in my thirties I decided to go on a lifestyle change and approach the problem more systematically. Thankfully, my break from corticosteroid creams has now somewhat normalized. I am still taking very good care of my skin and maintaining it with some of the creams that I'll be mentioning in this post and I still have certain periods when my skin gets worse.

March 2021 Favorites

I feel like all I write these days is favorites and I promise I'll get back to writing more other posts as well. I tried to gather a few products, though honestly, I could copy my January and February favorites in this post as well. I don't get to go anywhere, so I also don't do much of colorful makeup anymore. It's all down to basics. I have some fun scents to introduce to you as well.

New In (32)

Another batch of new products. I haven't posted a new in in a while. Here are also some PR packages from December as well as some Black Friday purchases.

8 years of Adjusting Beauty

I think Adjusting Beauty has officially become my longest standing hobby. I've been writing this blog since my student years and for some reason I haven't gotten completely bored with it yet. It has brought me some great opportunities for working with companies as well as meeting fellow beauty lovers that have created fun beauty community.

February 2021 Favorites

I was all about cream makeup and pampering in February. It's one of those winter months that is finally starting to get a bit sunnier, so I am sort of resetting my skin again with some actives and nourishing it in the process.

Review: Joico K-Pak and K-Pak Color Therapy Products

I have mentioned, many times, that Joico K-Pak is my favorite high end hair care range. I have first tried their products when I started writing my blog and since then, they always found their place in my hair care routine. I have tried a few products from their other ranges, but K-Pak and K-Pak Color Therapy remains my favorite.

Review: MAC Paint Pot - Soft Ochre

MAC Paint Pots are one of those products that have stood the test of time. I remember Soft Ochre being one of the most popular eyeshadow primers back in the day when I started to get interested in makeup and I still see professional makeup artist using them as eyeshadow bases. I knew I will want to try this at some point.

Review: Sample Beauty Pigment - Clio and Salma

Sample Beauty is British indie makeup brand. I think their eyeshadows and pigments are what they are most known for. I'm not familiar with the brand, but their pigments always looked fun and are more affordable than for example the ones I have from Inglot.

January 2021 Favorites

This month has been pretty boring and to be honest, I didn't apply much makeup as I just didn't go anywhere and I had lots of other things to occupy my time. So in this month I am focusing more on skin care part as this is one of those months when my skin needs more care. I usually don't share as much of these products anyway.

Review: H&M Pure Radiance Powder Blusher - Cameo Pink

H&M Pure Radiance Powder Blushers are one of my all time favorite blush formulas. I've been slowly collecting more shades and whenever I get one, I use the heck out of it. Most of them still look like I haven't touched them. It's just one of those gorgeous soft powdery formulas that blend like a dream and they have the most beautiful shades to choose from.

2020 Favorites

Here are my yearls favorites which sum up some of the products I have discovered in the previous year and that have impressed me enough to be mentioned here. Some of these, like skin care and mascaras I have already repurchased a few times. I try to include only those products that I really loved and used a lot.

Review: Marc Jacobs - Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara And Kiss Kiss Bang Bang Lipstick

I have heard of Marc Jacobs Beauty products, but never really had the chance to try them out, until my lovely friend gifted them to me. I tried out one of their iconic mascaras and lipstick in a mini version, which is so much cuter and I love the fact that I actually get to use it up.

Review: Catrice LE Kaviar Gauche 2020 - Pressed Pigment Palette, Highlighter and Multipurpose Brush

I am a little late with this review, but our local drugstore still sells this November through January limited edition by Catrice called Kaviar Gauche. Kaviar Gauche is German bridal couture brand that Catrice collaborated with already and I feel they'll do more together in the future. These collection always have the prettiest design and very wearable shades.
