Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminzer is probably one of the most famous lip glosses right now and everyone seems to love it. It's just a gloss, but I think the formula is so comfortable to wear and shade Fenty Glow is just one of those universally flattering shades, so it really caters to all shiny lips lovers. I always though it was too expensive, but it was on sale and I decided to finally try it.

Review: L.O.V. Highlighting Drops, Lash Primer, Magnetic Loose Eyeshadow and Volume Gloss
28 Jan 2019
L.O.V. was previously in our Müller stores, but then they discontinued the brand. Now it's back, but only in online shop - Ličila.si. I think we all missed it. It's a sister brand to Catrice and Essence, but a much more elegant and slightly higher priced. I have a few of their products and the quality did not disappoint. I received and tested some more. Here are my thoughts.

Review: Colourpop Ultra Glossy Lip - Snow Day
18 Jan 2019
I already own one of those new shimmery Colourpop Ultra Glossy Lips lip glosses and since I loved the formula so much, I wanted to add another shade to my collection. Also because I almost completely used up On Board. I chose a more neutral transparent shade called Snow Day which goes with pretty much every colored base.
Review: Colourpop In-Nude-Endo Highlighters, 143 Shadow and On Board Glossy Lip
10 Sept 2018
I always say, I'm not buying from Colourpop anymore, because of the customs, but then I'm tempted again. Colourpop is just one of those brands that I love and would love to buy more, if they had European shop. They really need to do that asap. Anyways, I got a few more bits from them, when they had a sale going on. I never buy full price for Colourpop products, because the shipping is expensive enough.
Review: Kiko 3D Hydra Lipgloss - 18 Golden Sparkle
21 Apr 2018
While I love a good matte lip, I am also always searching for a good shimmery shiny lip and I thought I found a great choice in this Kiko 3D Hydra Lipgloss in the shade 18 Golden Sparkle. I already have this formula in another shade, so this is more just a presentation of a new color.

Review: Catrice Prisma Lip Glaze - 010 Enchanted Gold
27 Mar 2018
I knew I wanted to try out Catrice Prisma Lip Glaze as soon as I saw it on promo photos. In the store it looked even prettier. Lip gloss is making a comeback and I am glad. As much as I love a good matte lip in the winter, I also love sparkly glosses in the summer time. They look so effortless and juicy.
Review: Kiko 3D Hydra Lipgloss - 27 Pearly Lavender
8 May 2017
Matte lipsticks have been really popular and many swear by them, but I love a good shiny lip just as well as matte. Kiko recently came out with a new line of their 3D Hydra Lipglosses and because I am crazy about glittery products, I had to try at least one.
Kiko lip gloss comes in a rounded and wide plastic packaging with silver detail. I definitely like wider and flatter packaging as it stands out from other classic ones (Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor has similar shape). It looks luxurious and simple as do most of Kiko products.
In it is 6.5 ml of product and the price is 7.95€.
It has fluffy doe foot sponge applicator that is curved to fit the lips. It also hold most of the product at the back of the applicator. You can bend it to fit lips better. It applies lip gloss evenly.
Kiko has a whooping selection of 30 different shades. There are some shimmery ones and some without the shimmer. I was attracted to 27 Pearly Lavender, because it had a mixture of gold and silver shimmer. The base is pastel lavender, but when you apply it over lipsticks it doesn't change it much, just makes it slightly lighter. It gives it lots of high shine.
On the lips on its own it gives them a slight cool lavender shade with lots of silver sheen that almost makes the lips look metallic. Shimmer is really saturated and with one swipe you get a lot of it on the lips. This is definitely one swipe application lip gloss.
This shade on its own doesn't suit me best, because it's quite cool toned and a bit too pale for my complexion, that's why I always apply it over other lip shades. If you have fair cool skin tone this would look amazing on your.
If you blot it down, you're left with only lots of shimmers that still sticks to the lips. That's why I always remove it with an oil cleanser to prevent spreading shimmer all over my face.
My favorite way to wear it is to apply lipstick on the lips as a light stain and pat it on top and in with fingers. Then I apply lip gloss over it. It gives you the shade of the lipstick with amazing shine of the lip gloss.
Formula is thicker and a bit sticky, which I am used to with lip glosses. It's not like that old school annoyingly sticky, but you can definitely feel it on the lips as you smack them together. Because of that it also sticks to the lips better and is quite long lasting for a lip gloss formula.
Unfortunately it doesn't have any impressive scent to it. It's more chemical, but not that noticeable.
It wears lovely. I think I like lip gloss formulas so much because they make lips feels so comfortable, protected and nourished. This one never dries out my lips and it feels nourishing and comfortable.
If you apply it lightly over a heavy coat of lipstick, you almost can't notice shimmer in it, it just gives your lips a high shine gloss.
If you're a lip gloss fan, you'll love Kiko 3D Hydra Lipglosses. They have everything that a classic lip gloss should have. High shine, slight stickiness and are so comfortable to wear. You also have a wide range of color selections. I chose the shimmery one, because I love shimmer, but you can also chose normal formulas. 27 Pearly Lavender isn't exactly what I expected it to be. I thought that it would have a more neutral sheen, but there's definitely more silver in it and cool toned lavender base doesn't really suit my skin tone. I do love it over other lip colors, but if this has a brown base, I would adore it.
Overview of Avon Mark Brand (Mineral Powder, Lip Gloss, Primer)
29 Mar 2017
Avon decided to rename a few of their old and new products and join them under a brand called Mark. I got a few of the products to try out myself and here are my thoughts.
Avon Mark Magix Face Primer
It comes in a plastic tube packaging. It's practical to use and great to travel with. In it is 30 ml of product and the regular price is 7.90€.
The hole is very small, so you can really control the amount of product that you want to come out.
It's like a light white cream that has very smooth texture once you blend it into the skin. One of those typical silicon primers, but I don't find it as drying as some others. It has velvet finish, because it's not completely matte. I use it on my T zone where my makeup tends to break down first, because I'm the oiliest there. It makes my skin more matte and smooth. This also looks great over huge pores, because it almost fills them in and smooths out. It doesn't prolong the wear of foundation, it just prevents my oiliness to come through sooner. It has artificial scent that is not too invasive.
It's a product that I'll definitely use a lot in the summer and it's perfect to pair with your silicon based foundations and oilier parts of the face.
I hope you can see how the skin looks smoother on the right side and it also looks a bit blurred.
Avon Mark Mineral Powder Foundation - Ivory
I've had one mineral foundation and I mostly just used it as a finishing powder and another layer of coverage, so I may not be the best to judge this product. It comes in a plastic pot with that dot dispenser. In it is 6 grams of product and the regular price is 11€.
I have no idea how Avon decided to call this shade Ivory. Far from it. I actually use it as a bronzer since it's way too dark for me. It's the lightest shade in the range, so fair skin tones don't have a chance. It's a very fine powder. To the touch a bit wet and once you start to blend it into the skin it almost becomes a bit creamier, like a matte foundation. It has a bit of sheen to it, which actually shows up as small shimmer particles on the sun. In the shade it just looks like it gives a natural sheen to the skin.
Ivory looks like a mix of orange and pink undertones in one. Sometimes it looks more orange on my skin, but once you apply it heavily, you can see that it also has pink tone in it.
On the bottom photo you can see small shimmer particles that are visible in the sun. I prefer my powders to be matte, so the shimmer in it, I don't like.
As I said before, it's way too dark for me, so I use it as a bronzer, which works fine. On the bottom photos you can see my skin with just foundation and then I used this mineral powder on places where I would put bronzer.
The shade warms up my skin tone and actually looks fine as a bronzer. It has a light coverage. You can build it up, but it won't cover any redness or imperfections. It's also not very long lasting. I find that it fades quite a lot through the day and at the evening it's barely there.
Avon Mark Glossy Tube Lip Gloss - Sugar Shine
It's a typical old school lip gloss tube packaging. In it is 15 ml of product and the regular price is 5.90€.
It also has that basic plastic applicator with a small hole.
Shade Sugar Shine is a milky pink with silver shimmer. It has thicker consistency and it's quite sticky. On the lips it feels very nourishing, but also a bit heavy. I like heavier lip glosses, but I don't like it to be sticky, because it's a mess to wear with long hair. It also starts to build up on the inner corners, if you apply heavier coat.
It has the most yummy sweet vanilla scent and it even tastes good.
On the lips it looks very pale, almost a bit too pale for my liking. It sort of gives you a white cast over the lips. Because it's sticky, it does wear a good amount of time for a lip gloss.
I already reviewed all shades of these here, so I won't talk much about it. These are my favorite Avon lipstick formula. Creamy, pigmented and comfortable to wear. Very basic, but good formula. Shade range is also lovely.
These are one of those products that Avon already had and just decided to put them under Mark brand. Previously they were known as Avon Gel Shine Nail Enamels and I have a review of all the shades here. They apply nicely, have good pigmentation and are long lasting.
As far as Mark products goes. at least the ones that I've tried so far, I would definitely recommend primer, lipsticks and nail polishes. Mineral powder and lip gloss didn't impress me enough. Lip gloss is just so old school and too sticky. It seems more childish. Mineral powder is good, if you like light coverage and would dare to go on the sun with something that has shimmer in it. It actually looks nice on the skin indoors.
Primer is a great basic silicon primer. It keeps the skin less oilier and it makes the skin really smooth. Lipsticks are the best creamy lipstick formula that I've tried and highly recommend you to get some, if you find the right shade. Nail polishes are also amazing. I find them one of the most long lasting Avon formula and the shade selection is huge, so I'm sure you'll find a shade for you.

Avon je nekaj svojih novih in starih izdelkov dodal pod novo znamko imenovano Mark. Sama sem dobila nekaj izdelkov teste in danes vam poročam kako so se obnesli.
Avon Mark Magix Face Primer
Mojo kožo naredi malo bolj mat in gladko.
Avon Mark Mineral Powder Foundation - Ivory
Avon Mark Glossy Tube Lip Gloss - Sugar Shine
Avon Mark Plump It šminke
Oceno vseh odtenkov šmink imam tukaj, zato ne bom dolgovezila. So kremne, pigmentirane in zelo udobne za nošenje. Zelo osnovna formula, ampak dobra. Nabor odtenkov je prav tako čudovit.
Avon Mark Gel Shine Nail Enamel
So lepo mazljivi, dobro pigmentirani in dobro obstojni.
Glede Avon Mark izdelkov, ki sem jih preizkusila, zagotovo priporočam primer, šminke in lake. Mineralen puder in lip gloss me nista navdušila. Lip gloss je preveč zastarel glede embalaže in same formule. Izven direktnega sonca izgleda precej dobro.
Primer je dober osnoven silikonski primer. Mojo kožo naredi malo manj mastno in zelo gladko. Šminke so ena izmed najboljših kremnih formul kar sem jih preizkusila in jih zagotovo priporočam.

Review: Catrice Lip Cushion - 020 Better Make A Mauve
24 Feb 2017
Lately I've been trying out new Catrice and Essence products and most of what I got impressed me. In their new range, Catrice also added lip cushions. An interesting concept that must have gotten adopted from Korean trends. It actually really reminds me of their Beautifying Lip Smoothers, which now come only in three shades. I have some of their previous shades that are not available anymore.
Lip cushion has plastic pen like packaging. It's black with the details of the shade inside. In it is 3.5 ml of product and it costs 5.29€.
You can choose from 6 different shades. I got the 020 Better Make A Mauve, which is actually the most neutral shade in the range. Others are a bit more colorful.
It has a fluffy sponge applicator. You have to roll the bottom of a pan to get product pushed through it. It makes a clicking sound, which lets you control the amount, so that you don't overdo it. Soaked sponge is not the most hygienic application, but if you only use it on yourself, it shouldn't be a problem.
020 Better Make A Mauve is a warm mix of pink, brown and even some peach. It's one of those shades that will probably suit everyone and what I call my-lips-but-better shade. On my warm skin tone it turns out a lot warmer and more peach based. I assume it would look more mauve on cooler skin tones. It also has tiny shimmer particles in it, but they are so small that I can't tell what color they are.
I compared it to some of my other lip shades and didn't find any shade that would be a dupe. Avon True Supreme Nourishing in Revitalising Raspberry seemed similar, but is a bit more pink toned. It's probably the most similar color to Catrice. MAC Patisserie is again one of those shades that has a bit of everything, but compared to Catrice, it's a lot lighter and slightly more cooler pink without that obvious warm peach undertone. Avon 3D Plumping lipstick in Stolen Kisses is the most pink toned out of all of these and the most vibrant one. Bourjois Rouge Edition 12 Hours lipstick in shade 33 also seemed similar, but it's the darkest shade of these and again more pink toned.
Catrice describes this as a creamy lip gloss and I would agree. It also contains avocado oil which also makes it a nourishing product and I would almost categorize it under a lip care with color. Texture of it is like a thicker sticky cream. It has shiny finish.
It has really nice pigmentation for a lip gloss. You can apply it sheer or build it up, which also makes the color slightly darker.
It applies super smooth and feels very nourishing and comfortable to wear. It's slightly sticky which makes it stick to the lips well and makes it fairly long lasting for a lip gloss, but doesn't give you that old school sticky lip gloss feel at all.
This also nourishes my lips and my lips are never dry when I wear it, which is a huge plus for me. It's one of those effortless products to apply when you want something colorful, but still nourishing. Everyone with dry lips will adore it.
It's a perfect mix of nourishing lip product and color. It applies smooth on the lips, with just slight stickiness to it and it feels very comforting. Pigmentation is good for a lip gloss and staying power just as well. Shade 020 Better Make A Mauve is a warm toned mix of pink and brown with some peach undertone and tiny shimmer in it. It's a very wearable shade and product for when you want something colorful, but soothing on the lips.

Review: Trend It Up (Eye Shadow, Kajal, Blush, Lipgloss)
16 Oct 2016
Slovenians were really excited when we got DM's Trend It Up brand in our drugstores. Up until recently, it was very rare for us to get new makeup brands. It's also nice to get some affordable brands that you're not too guilty buying. Some products have impressed me and some not so much. I decided to review them all in one post.
Trend It Up Elastic Eye Shadow 030
It comes in a plastic matte black packaging with transparent lid. It's a screw on lid. Eyeshadow is pressed into the pot and I would advise you to be careful with it. If you drop it, it will probably shatter. Mine almost did. It seems very fragile or maybe it isn't pressed in enough.
It costs 3.49€ and in it is 5 grams of product.
I chose the most wearable brown shade that I could find. Unfortunately, there wasn't any testers of this particular shade, so I wasn't sure how it was going to be. I made my decision based on some other silver shade which seemed really pigmented and creamy. Turns out this one wasn't as good.
Shade 030 is neutral brown with slight red undertone. It has small gold shimmer in it which is sparse. It has satin finish with slight sheen and a bit of added shimmer here and there.
Formula is very sheer and this shade is not well pigmented. It gives a light wash of color. You can't really build it up much or make it darker. Some high end brands tend to do sheerer formulas for a very wearable wash of color on the lids and this one would fit in the same category. If you're looking for something pigmented, definitely skip this shade.
When you touch it with fingers it's very smooth and almost feels a bit buttery and wet. I think this is an interesting formula, but it doesn't transfer as such. It's hard to build up the color, because it mostly just stays on your finger. Maybe that's just the case with this shade. Other shades seemed better in the store.
It fades through the day and it gets slightly into the line, but nothing too bad.
I only found one shade that looks similar to 030. It's shade Button from I Heart Makeup Naked Chocolate eyeshadow palette. Button is a bit warmer and has a hint of copper in it. It's also shinier and has a bit of a metallic sheen to it.
Trend It Up Ultra Slim Kajal 020
I was intrigued by this very slim eye pencil, because I love brown liners for fall and I also like precision. It has brown plastic packaging and is short and very slim.
In it is 0.05 grams of product and it costs 2.49€.
As I've said before it's a really slim kajal and the tip is only 1 mm wide, so this gives you a very precise application. You can create thin lines with little effort.
I compared it to a regular sized pencil (Essence), and as you can see, it really is tiny compared to it.
Shade 020 is a classic medium brown with a slight warm yellow undertone. If you build it up, it gets darker and less warm toned.
It has a creamy formula, but is not too buttery. If you apply too much pressure, it can get patchy and uneven. Apply it lightly and build it up slowly, if you want darker color. If you work quickly you can also smudge it out a bit.
I compared it with my other brown liners. Avon Kholl Eye Liner in Bronze Sheen is more red based brown with gold shimmer. It's a shimmery liner. Clio Kill Brown Brush Liner is darker brown and the most neutral. It's more of a classic chocolate shade.
I like how tiny and precise it is. You can get really close to the lash line.

| On my lips is Trend It Up High Shine Lipgloss in 150 |
Because of such a slim tip you can actually use this as an eyebrow product. I tried it and it works great. The shade suits my warm brown hair color. If you have taupe or more grey hair or brows, it will probably be too warm for you. I love how precise and small this is and you can really fill in all the gaps in the brows. If you don't rub it, it stays in place for the whole day and doesn't transfer.
It's really hard to find Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz like small tip for brows and this one works great. I am definitely going to be using this more for brows now. The precision is great for me now that I have more and more bald spots between my brows and this still looks very natural without needing to color in the entire brow - which I don't like the look of.
Trend It Up Powder Blush 050
Blushes come in a plastic pot with transparent lid and black plastic rim. In each is 5 grams of product and it costs 3.49€.
It has Trend It Up embossed logo in the blush.
Shade 050 is a dirty mauve shade. It has that bit of brownish feel to it. Finish is satin, similar to H&M Pure Radiance Powder Blushers. 050 actually has a bit more sheen than H&M blushes and you can see some shimmer if you look really closely, while in H&M blushes I don't detect any shimmer. It gives a lovely natural sheen to the cheeks.
No wonder I like it so much. It's quite similar to Catrice Illuminating Blush in 010 I Am Nuts About You. Catrice's is in fact a bit darker and has even more brown in it. Trend It Up 050 is a bit lighter and seems warmer compared to Catrice, but doesn't look as muddy. Artdeco Mineral Blusher in 24 Pink (don't know if they still sell it) is also in the same color family, but just slightly pinkier than Trend It Up 050, less brown based and it also has very visible silver shimmer which gives it a cool sheen.
Blushes are the hardest to photograph, because they look really bright on my cheeks, but are barely noticeable on my photo. I also like lighter application of blushes. I definitely notice that this blush fades through the day, but it's still there at the end of the day. I assume that if you apply more in the beginning, you won't have this problem.
Formula is slightly wet to the touch. They can have some fallout when you apply them with brush, so I always tap it off a bit. They are a bit sheer as far as the formula goes, but pigmentation is good. I go in with a light hand, because it can quickly look too much for my personal preference.
I liked this blush so much that I already got two other shades, which seem just as good as this one. This blush is perfect for those that don't like really pigmented blushes and who like a natural finish with a bit of sheen.
Trend It Up High Shine Lipgloss 150
Lip gloss comes in a plastic transparent tube with black plastic top and a silver detail. In it is 5 ml of product and it costs 3.49€.
It has a brush applicator. This is the first lip product with a brush applicator that I've ever tried and I like it. The brush is small and bendable. You can apply the gloss with lots of precision and get into the corners as well.
Shade 150 is the most brownish nude of the whole range. It's that perfect nude that has a bit of brown and a bit of mauve pink in it. On my skin tone it looks warm toned, but it might look a bit more pinkier on cool toned skin.
It has a very glossy finish and doesn't slide off the lips. I love the formula of it, because it's thicker, and just slightly sticky which means it lasts well on the lips and it's very comfortable. Maybe that's due to an argan oil in the formula. It's one of those really comfortable soothing lip products that you love to apply on the lips again and again.
It's also really pigmented for a lip gloss.
It has interesting scent. You can smell something artificial, but then it also smells like gingerbread cookies and a bit of cinnamon.
I own very little lip glosses or liquid lipsticks. I only got to compare it to Essence Liquid Lipstick in 03 Almost Real which is a lot more peach based and lighter brown nude shade.
150 is a lovely nude on my lips and it feels so nourishing. Perfect for colder months.
Since most of the people like really pigmented eyeshadows, I would say stay away from shade 030. The other shades that I tried in the drugstore seemed more pigmented, so check the shade before you buy it. However, if you like a light wash of satin sheen all over the lids, then you might like this.
I love the ultra slim precise size of kajal. You can use it for either an eye liner or for a slim brow pencil. It lasts all day, doesn't transfer and the formula is satisfying.
Blush is one of my favorite products and I already got two more shades. I like satin formula with natural sheen, pigmentation of it and choice of shades. I already got a light pink and another peachy shade as well.
Lip gloss is another one of my favorites. Formula is definitely a winner. It's thicker, just slightly sticky, has good lasting power, great pigmentation and feels super soothing on the lips. I am contemplating on getting another shade as well.
Trend It Up has impressed me for the price. I think you can find some really good products for an affordable prices. Not all are gems, but some are easily compared to other drugstore brands. I'll definitely be trying some other products from them in the future. So far, I have my eye on more eye pencils, powder products and lip products. What is your favorite product from this brand? Should I check out some other products as well? Let me know in the comments.
