I was so excited to see Maybelline come out with their own version of brow pen. My favorite was NYX Lift & Snatch! Brow Pen, but now Maybelline Build-a-Brow has definitely become my new favorite brow pen. Maybelline did a great job with this one. 

Another one of high end foundations I have been testing out lately. It's actually my first product from Lancome. Their Teint Idole Ultra Wear foundation is quite popular among bridal makeup artists as well, because it's fairly versatile and lasts well on the skin. 

Too Cool for School is Korean brand. I remember it being on the scene since I started gaining interest in Asian skin care. It's a staple brand in my eyes and it has been around for years. They have makeup as well as skincare. Artclass is just one of their makeup ranges. It's inspired by classic atelier and art. 

I was a huge fan of Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation (in short their HD Foundation). I had it in my professional makeup kit. I could make it work over all skin types and the color selection was perfect with somewhat warmish neutral tones. So obviously I was very disappointed to see it get discontinued and replaced with HD Skin foundation. At first try I hated it, but then I gave it a fair chance to try several times and here are my thoughts. 

I rarely buy new mascara, because I usually stick to the ones I know and like. Every now and then I get the urge to try something new and I tried L'Oreal Panorama Volume Million Lashes. 

I have been trying a lot of new foundations recently. Some drugstore, but most high end, because I wanted to see what is out there to update my professional makeup kit with. Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk is a very popular foundation, especially among professional makeup artists. It's lighter coverage, but everyone raves about it, so I had to see how it would work out on my combination skin.

2023 was the year of discovering new skincare. I have finally tried a big more expensive cleansers and new skincare products that I haven't tried before. There was one game-changing device that I still use. As far as makeup goes, I have been on a hunt for good drugstore and high end foundations and I actually found some good ones. There have also been other bits that I have tried that were new to me, but not necessarily new launches. I have gathered the products that I think deserve to be mentioned as they are well worth the money in my opinion.
