Vinosource range from Caudalie has been recently revamped with new design and more recyclable packaging. I have to say the new pink design is lovely. Caudalie is known for grapes as one of the main ingredients in their ranges. I remember their Beauty Elixir water being iconic back in the days and every makeup artist used it.

I've tried a few version by now and I'll list reviews on the bottom of this post. Today I'm talking about the latest version of their oil in lotion scent that is Nivea Oil in Lotion Orange Blossom & Avocado Oil.
Review: Plantae Rose Hip Fruit + Seed Serum

Plantae is new brand on Slovenian market. It's organic skin care brand from New Zealand. Their products have BioGro certificate which is comparable to European EcoCERT. Every products contains at least 95% certified organic ingredients. Other ingredients are also of natural origin without GMOs or other harmful ingredients. You can read more about the brand here.
Plantae has three collections. Lush Leaves to refine and refresh oily or blemished skin, Flower Power to balance and brighten normal or combination skin and Berry Bliss to renew and replenish dry or damaged skin.
I got their Rose Hip Fruit and Seed Serum for dry to damaged skin from their Berry Bliss line. Serums are probably my favorite skin care products besides AHAs and BHAs. You could easily live off of serum and forget moisturizer, if you have good serum.
It comes in dark green bottle with dropper. Their whole range is white and green with simplistic design that I like. In it is 30 grams of products and it costs 44.90$ or 30.28€.
It's concentrated facial serum with organic supercritical extracts from the whole rose hip berry.
Dropper has a curved tip which is probably meant for you to hold it straight and you don't need to bend it in order to get product out. I found it a bit odd in the beginning, but I got used to it.
Packaging is definitely secure and there's no spillage. It also has darker bottle to prevent damage of ingredients.
Key ingredients of this serum are rose hip, rosemary, rose and sandalwood.
I have already used rose hip oil before and loved it. It's probably the most versatile oil to use on anyone's face. This serum also contains organic rose hip oil which is very rich in antioxidants, which include a lot of vitamin C, lycopene and cartenoids. It has high concentration of omega 3, 6 and 9 essential fatty acids which improve skin firmness and elasticity.
It also contains organic steam distilled rosa damascena flower oil which gently firms and strengthens the collagen-elastin network due to cytophylactic properties. Rose oil produces mild toning and astringent effect on facial capillaries.
Organic rosemary supercritical extract is protective antioxidant with repairing and anti-irritant properties and it also tones, firms and revitalizes the skin.
It has a very natural ingredients list with a lot of good plant extracts.
It should improve texture, tone and luminosity for lucent, glowing skin. It's ideal for dry skin types, but other skin types will also benefit from it.
It also claims to increase human skin fibroblast in culture by at least 200%. I hat to google what fibroblasts are and they are those cells that are responsible for generating connective tissue and allowing the skin to recover from injury.
For some reason I expected it to be thinner and lighter, but it's actually like a diluted face oil. I would say almost a mix of oil and regular serum consistency.
If you've ever tried pure rose hip oil, you'll know that it has a fairly strong yellow color and so does this serum. It's not as thick and greasy as pure rose hip oil. It's a bit runnier and it's fairly lightweight on the skin. It leaves your skin shiny, but doesn't seem to stain it or my pillow either.
It has a much more pleasant scent than pure rose hip oil. It's definitely more of a herbal plant scent with slight sweetness. If you're used to artificial skin care scents, you'll have to get used to this one. I though it was a bit strong in the beginning, but then I got used to it.
It soaks into the skin nicely, but still leaves greasy shiny layer on top like thicker versions of dry oils.
I've been using this for a little over month and a half. I apply two to three drops in the evening on my entire face. My skin has been looking really well these past months. Apart from some hormonal breakouts, it's been on its best behavior. I think I can definitely blame it on this serum.
It really nourishes and moisturizes my skin through the night. I also felt like my skin was a lot softer in the morning. my favorite benefit that I've noticed since using it is that it clears up my skin and keeps it bright. I am a picker, and I love to pick on my pimples. When I have pimple scars, this serum noticeably reduces the scarring, which supports fibroblast theory.
Even though it is fairly greasy, almost a thinner oil, I still love it for summer. Because the vitamin C brightens up my complexion and I believe rose hip oil to be great for sun burns. It also feels very calming and not one bit irritating.
I think that oily skins might want to be careful with serum, especially in the summer, because it's more like a lightweight oil. For every other skin type, this is going to be amazing. I would definitely recommend it to those with dry skin and hyper pigmentation.
To conclude, I really like this serum. It's definitely more of a light oil than regular thinner serums. I felt like it really made my skin nourished, plump and all in all better looking. I loved that it helped to heal my pimple scars quicker and because of vitamin C it's great for summer and brightening up skin complexion. It has natural, but fairly strong scent. If you're conscious about what you're putting on your skin, you'll love it. A lot of organic natural ingredients. Highly recommend it to anyone with dry, damaged and normal or combination skin. For oily skins I can't say how it will be, weather or not it would be too oily for your liking.

Dobila sem Serum iz plodov in semen šipka za suho in poškodovano kožo iz Berry Bliss kolekcije. Serumi so verjetno moj najljubši izdelek za nego kože, poleg AHA in BHA kislin. Vsekakor bi lahko živela samo od uporabe serumov, saj so ti tako dobro hranljivi, da včasih niti ne bi potrebovala kreme.
Serum se nahaja v temno zeleni steklenici s kapalko. Celotna linija ima zelo bel preprost dizajn, ki je meni všeč. V njem je 30 gramov izdelka. Cena je 30.28€.
Je koncentriran serum za obraz z organskimi izvlečki šipkovih jagod.
Kapalka je na koncu ukrivljena, da lažje dobimo izdelek ven, brez da bi nagibali kapalko. Najrej se mi je to zdelo rahlo čudno, vendar sem se hitro navadila.
Embalaža je vsekakor varno zaprta. Všeč mi je, da je temna, saj s tem preprečimo, da bi se sestavine predhodno pokvarile.
Glavne sestavine seruma so šipek, rožmarin, vrtnica in sandalovina.
V preteklosti sem že uporabljala šipkovo olje in mi je bilo izredno všeč. Za moje pojme je to najbolj vsestransko olje za vsak obraz. Tudi ta serum vsebuje organsko šipkovo olje, ki je bogato z naravnimi antioksidanti, ki vsebujejo vitamin C, likopen in karotenoide. Ima tudi visoko vsebnost omega 3, 6 in 9 maščobnih kislin, ki dajejo koži pomembne hranilne snovi in izboljšajo čvrstost in elastičnost.
Vsebuje tudi organsko parno destilirano olje iz cvetov bolgarske vrtnice, ki s svojimi citoflaktičnimi lastnostmi nežno krepi vezavo kolagena in elastina. Olje vrtnice blagodejno vpliva na tonus in obrazne kapilare.
Organski izvleček šipka je zaščitni antioksidant, ki obnavlja kožo in preprečuje draženje, hkrati pa jo utrdi in učvrsti.
Sestavine so odlične, vsebuje veliko naravnih ekstraktov.
Serum bi naj povečal celično dejavnost, izboljšal strukturo kože in poskrbel za mladosten zdrav sijaj. Čeprav je idealen za dehidrirano kožo, je ta serum vsekakor primeren tudi za druge tipe kože.
Naj bi tudi povečal število fibroblastov za 200%. Morala sem poiskati kaj so fibroblasti in sicer so to celice odgovorne za ustvarjanje vezivnega tkiva in omogočajo koži, da se hitreje obnovi po poškodbi.
Pričakovala sem, da bo serum bolj lahek, ampak je bolj kot ne razredčeno olje. Jaz bi trdila, da je mešanica med čistim oljem in navodno konsistenco večine serumov.
Če še nikoli niste uporabljali čistega šipkovega olja, potem verjetno ne veste, da ima kar močno rumeno barvo. Tudi ta serum ima tako barvo. Ni gost in zelo masten kot čisto šipkovo olje. Je malo bolj tekoč in relativno lahkoten na koži. Vseeno na koži pusti masten sijaj. Meni ne obarva kože, prav tako pa ne blazine med spanjem.
Ima občutno boljši vonj kot čisto šipkovo olje. Vsekakor je vonj bolj zeliščen oziroma naraven z rahlo sladkobo. Če ste navajeni umetno odišavljenih izdelkov za nego obraza, se boste morali navaditi na ta vonj. Meni se je na začetku zdel precej močan, ampak sem se navadila.
Lepo se vpije v kožo, ampak vseeno za sabo pusti sijoč videz. Imam občutek, da je finiš posoben suhim oljem za obraz.
Serum sem uporabljala več kot mesec in pol. Zvečer na celoten obraz nanesem dve do tri kapljice seruma. Moja koža je bila v prejšnjem mesecu izredno lepa. Razen občasnih hormonskih mozoljev, se je obnašala pridno. Vsekakor menim, da je za to zaslužen tudi ta serum.
Preko noči moja koža postane lepo navlažena in negovana. Zjutraj je koža tudi bolj mehka. Moja najljubša korist tega seruma je ta, da mi ohranja kožo občutno bolj čisto in sijočo. Sama zelo rada stiskam mozolje in večkrat na ta račun dobim kakšno brazgotino. Pri tem serumu sem imela občutek, da so se z uporabo te brazgotine občutno hitreje zacelile, kar podpira fibroblast trditev.
Čeprav je precej masten, skoraj kot razredčeno olje, ga vseeno obožujem tudi za poletje. Ker vsebuje vitamin C posvetli kožo in menim, da je šipkovo olje odlično za sončne opekline. Deluje pomirjujoče in nikakor ne iritira kože.
Vsi z mastno kožo morate biti previdni s tem serumom, sploh poleti, ker je bolj kot ne razredčeno olje. Vsekakor pa ga priporočam za vse, ki imajo suho kožo in pigmentne madeže.
Če zaključim, serum mi je zelo všeč. Vsekakor gre bolj za lahko olje ne pa lahki serum. Mojo kožo je odlično nahranil, jo naredil prožno in na sploh je izgleda bolje. Zelo mi je bilo všeč, da mi je pomagal hitreje zaceliti brazgotine od stiskanja mozoljev in zaradi vitamina C je odličen za poletje in posvetlitev kože. Ima naraven, a precej močan vonj. Če gledate na to kaj dajete na kožo, vam bo ta serum zagotovo všeč. Ima velik nabor organskih naravnih sestavin. Vsekakor ga zelo priporočam za vse s suho, poškodovano in normalno do mešano kožo. Za mastno kožo ne morem trditi, kako se bo obnesel in ali bo preveč masten za vaš okus.

Review: Kerastase Reflection Fluide Chroma Riche

It's been a long time since I bought some new hair products and I've been using and creating my opinion on them for a long time. Today is another edition of Kerastase product to my collection. When I chose this one, I was looking for some products that would stay in the hair after washing and would maybe give me more softness and moisture. I felt the urge to purchase Kerastase Reflection Fluide Chroma Riche. It's luminous softening essence for highlighted or very sensitised color-treated hair.
It's a plastic bottle with a bright fuchsia pink color. You get 125 ml of product and it costs around 24€. I would say look for a discount. I got it for 16.84€ on Look Fantastic. They always have good discounts.
The pump works good and you can control the amount you want to squeeze out. The fluid never spils or anything like that.
The Reflection range is for sensitized and colored hair. The range is suppose to maintain the color vibrancy of your hair. This fluid it's supposed to be luminous softening leave in treatment for dry highlighter or color-treated hair. It should detangle the hair, provide easier styling, protect from external aggression, maximize the radiance and shine of color, leave hair softer and supple to the touch and give you UV filter and color protection. I love multi-task products.
Here's the ingredients list.
Fluide has a very nice fruity smell. It's very runny, greasy and transparent. It feels like a mixture of oil and serum. I apply one pump to most of my hair - now that they are shorter. Before I used one and a half pump.
The product glides on the hair like a dream and once the hair is dry it's left extremely smooth and shiny. I like to put it on damp hair and then blow dry. My hair is always shiny, but this makes them even shinier. The hair also feels very soft and nourished. Like a layer protecting the hair. No frizziness whatsoever. I wouldn't say it moisturizing and great for dry hair, but it does give you that nice smooth layer that makes the hair look vibrant and healthy looking. It also does detangle the hair, but most of such products do that anyway.
I think this product is great for styling or almost as that extra plump to your hair. It's definitely not something you desperately need, but it's a product that will make your hair very shiny, smooth and silky for those special occasions. I mean, it's not the cheapest product to be slathering it all over your hair every day?! If this would have some deeply moisturizing effect to my hair and heat protection, I would say this is my favorite product of all time. But now, it's my favorite luxury styling product that I use every now and then to make my hair look extra special.
This Reflection range still appeals to me, since I do have colored hair. If you tried any other products from this range, let me know how you liked it.
Review: Kahne Cosmetics Rosa Mosqueta (Rose Hip Seed Oil)

There are usually 25% discount coupons at one of our drugstores (Tuš Drogerija) and I decided to purchase new, unknown product. I'm ashamed to say I did not know Kahne Cosmetics nor did I know it's Slovenian brand. This product really impressed me.
It's called Rosa Mosqueta and it's skin regenerating natural oil from Rose Hip Seeds. It's combined with professional dermabrasive treatment. It has a high content of vitamins and it's very nutritious. It contains retionol (provitamin A), which improves skin structure and promotes the regeneration. It is also very rich in vitamin C and non-saturated fatty acids. It says that it helps to regenerate any scars, as well as reduces stretch marks and winkles. It's also suppose to fade liver spots and help with the sun damage. Apart from all those it also should tighten the pores, smooth skin surface and remove dead cells.
It comes in what seems to be glass bottle, but it might me plastic, since it doesn't sound like glass, but it is heavy. The top is plastic. It also comes in a plastic paper box.
The pump works good and it dispenses enough product to cover the whole face. If you want smaller amount, it's a bit harder to control it.
It costs around 12€ on their official site here, but I got it for 13.74€ in Tuš Drogerija (It's also available in Mercator). You get 15 ml of it. I'm sorry, I don't know how much is this product available in foreign countries.
One fact I love the most about this product is the ingredients list. So small, only one ingredient, which is Rose Hip Seed Oil.
It's an oil, so it's naturally very greasy. It's yellow colored, but I don't seem to notice the color to be transferred on my face. It has a pretty strong rose hip smell, which might bother some people, but I got use to it and kind of like it. I wouldn't say this is a product to use in the morning or under makeup, because it is pure oil. I would reserve it for a night time routine. That's how I do it.
The face will be greasy, but if your skin is as dry as mine is lately, it will drink up most of it. In the morning all the grease is gone. One thing that I liked immediately is that my skin felt very smooth on the surface. I also liked that it felt very moisturized. I've been using this oil over some pimple marks and I could swear that it helped to cure skin faster. I wouldn't say it helped with any wrinkles, but then again, I didn't really put it around my eyes. As for any other claims, I can't say yes or no, because I haven't been using the product long enough. However, if you want something very natural and good for your skin, this is it.
I think this is a very versatile oil for many skin types to enjoy. It's great for dry skin, skin that needs a little boost, skin that has uneven surface and just all around pick me up. I really like this product and kind of regret that I haven't discovered it sooner. Since I was so happy with this one, I went back and also purchased their Vitamin C spray and I will report on that one, when I use it a bit more. The range has many interesting product, which I want to add in the near future. Like hyaluron serum, collagen lift, vitamin E oil and many more. So if you discovered Kahne before me, which products do you use and would recommend?
Review: Avon Advance Techniques Moroccan Argan Oil

I finally found another hair jewel. It's Avon's hair oil, which is surprisingly not silicon based. I have tried the infamous Morrocan Oil in their Light version and didn't like it really. I think it's overrated. Today's version is a lot cheaper and surprisingly it should be for all hair types.
Avon's Advance Techniques Morrocan Argan Oil comes in this paper box. It's a hard glass bottle and it has a nice pump on top of it.
It contains 30 ml and it costs from 6.50 to 3.30€. You can get it really cheap on sale.
The pump works really nice. You can control the amount you want to come out and it's really well made. The hole is just big enough. I usually use one and a half pump, because I do have really dry hair.
Here is the ingredients lists for those, who are interested.
Oil is yellow and pretty runny. The scent reminds me of typical bubble gum Avon scent mixed with some oriental strong notes - which might just me the natural scent of argan oil. Don't expect the scent to last on the hair for days.
I have very dry and very thin hair. My roots get greasy quickly, but my ends are very dry. Most of the oils can feel too heavy on my thin hair, but this one doesn't at all. I think you can overdo it, so don't put more than one and half to two pumps, if you have fine hair. It says to apply it on towel dried hair, which I do. I also may put some on after I blow dry my hair, if they feel super dry.
The effect that I like the most from using it, is that my hair feels really soft. It seems to make them a bit more smooth and healthy looking in general - more moisturized. I have to say the effect doesn't last long on me, but that's just because my hair get really dry the second day.
Highly recommend this oil to everyone. If you're hair is healthy, this is just a good way of keeping it this way. If you have damaged and dry hair, this will at least temporary make them look better. It might even benefit from it in a long run, since argan oil is one of the best oils for hair. The price is also amazing.

I had the opportunity to buy some products from Ecco Verde and I grabbed the chance, right away. I admit I have not been buying from them before, but I did have my eye on their online store before. When I saw that they had the entire section for neurodermatitis, I couldn't hide my excitement.
Ok, little story from the past for anyone who's interested. Who's not, skip this section. Basically I was diagnosed with neurodermatitis when I was 4 years old. It was difficult in that time, because there was no cure, except cream full of corticosteroids, which are pretty bad for you long term and actually make skin thinner. My problem was I was allergic to everything form food, to dust, animals so on. I scratched my skin so much, that it started bleeding. So I constantly had scabs. I won't go into detail that of course I had a very low self-esteem because of that. I did get a new doctor in seventh grade and a new cream, which changed my life. As you may see from the photos now, my skin looks great (well, you have nothing to compare to - but believe me it beats the scabs!).
So... My skin is combination to oily and still very sensitive. My allergy still shows in forms of irritations and occasional red spots on my skin. Many products don't work for me, because they irritate my skin and I get redness and sometimes even itchiness. BUT, I have for you some products that did work for my sensitive skin and I would love to share my experience with those products with you.
Ecco Verde gave me free hands to choose which ever products I wanted and I chose Pai Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser, Martina Gebhardt Sheabutter Tonic and Dr. Sheller Jojoba Oil & Schisandra Soothing Intensive Serum. As a little treat I also bought Badgers Sleep Balm, because I do have trouble sleeping a lot of times.
Pai Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser is amazing. I especially love the smell of it and the feeling that it leaves on the skin.
Martina Gebhardt Sheabutter Tonic is very hydrating. Not greasy at all, as shea butter might suggests.
Dr. Sheller Jojoba Oil & Schisandra Soothing Intensive Serum is my favorite products of them all. I never used oils before and now I'm definitely not going off this one. Amazing! Especially for sensitive skin.
Badger Sleep Balm is a fun product. Don't expect it to be a sleeping pill. It's more of a fun night treatment :).
I really liked all of the products and will do a separate post for each, to review it in depth. I guess all I can say is, if you're interested in any of these products keep an eye on my posts.

Acure Moroccan Argan Stem Cell + Argan Oil Conditioner

Today it's another hair product. I haven't been writing about these in a while. It's a conditioner by Acure and it's called Moroccan Argan Stem Cell + Argan Oil Conditioner.
I have to say I wasn't sure what to expect. I really like high end (well for me it's high end, for some it may not be) products for hair, when it comes to conditioners and hair masks and all the other things. I was disappointed by a lot of drugstore conditioners and they just never felt as good as those a bit more expensive. I decided to try this one, when I saw the review on Jana's blog (click and you can read what she said about it). So, I placed my first order on iHerb and bought it.
I am pleasantly surprised. I have been using it for about 3 months and I like it. To me, it smells of a typical moroccan smell, if that makes sense? I guess, I would have to say it smells very oriental and I don't love the smell, but I don't hate it either. It's a bit strong in my opinion. The consistency is pretty thick, like a white cream and I love that. It sticks nicely to the hair.
While washing, the hair feels very smooth. If I let my hair dry itself, not using blow dryer, my hair has that oil feeling to it. By that I mean, that my hair feels moisturized an oily on touch, but not in a bad way. It just gives a nice moisture and smoothness to hair. However, if I blow dry the hair, I don't feel it being as moisturizing. The smell fades pretty quickly.
It comes in a tube, which is my favorite conditioner packaging and I absolutely love the directions on how to apply it. So cute :))
The packaging contains 235 ml of product around 6.34 €. Which I think it's a fairly good price for that amount of product.
I think it's a pretty good conditioner AND it also has very "healthy" natural ingredients, which is always a plus. I recommend it to anyone with dry hair, especially because of all the oils that it contains and it's a nice natural alternative.

The packaging contains 235 ml of product around 6.34 €. Which I think it's a fairly good price for that amount of product.
I think it's a pretty good conditioner AND it also has very "healthy" natural ingredients, which is always a plus. I recommend it to anyone with dry hair, especially because of all the oils that it contains and it's a nice natural alternative.
