It has been a while since my last new in post. There is a lot of material for another one as well. But here is first half of the product that I ordered before Christmas and some of the product that I got as PR packages. It's mostly just makeup.

L.O.V. was previously in our Müller stores, but then they discontinued the brand. Now it's back, but only in online shop - Ličila.si. I think we all missed it. It's a sister brand to Catrice and Essence, but a much more elegant and slightly higher priced. I have a few of their products and the quality did not disappoint. I received and tested some more. Here are my thoughts. 

I love a good red lipstick. Usually, warm tones are my kind of deal. But I love a good classic cool red lipstick just as well. It's especially nice for making your teeth look whiter. You'll see more matte formulas among these, because darker shades just tend to wear better matte. Plus there's less maintenance and checking in the mirror.

Makeup Revolution constantly comes out with new products. Just recently they added a new sub-brand called Revolution Pro. I'm assuming this is more of a makeup for professional use, so for makeup artists and such. I received some products from that brand and so far I like them all. Today I'm talking about Revolution Pro Supreme Eyeshadow in shade Allure. 

I already own one of those new shimmery Colourpop Ultra Glossy Lips lip glosses and since I loved the formula so much, I wanted to add another shade to my collection. Also because I almost completely used up On Board. I chose a more neutral transparent shade called Snow Day which goes with pretty much every colored base. 

2018 has been good in terms of beauty. I set myself a goal to post more nail art and makeup looks and I feel like I have reached it. There were many new interesting products to review as well as some new categories of posts that I introduced on my blog. Writing about trends was a fun new topic as well as finally coming around to doing my all time favorite products posts in different categories. I still have some of those coming up in 2019. 

Here are some of the posts that I have enjoyed creating the most. Starting with makeup looks that I think were finally becoming more interesting and versatile. I am also proud of my nail art that I feel has evolved a bit as well. Among other posts I have decided to feature those that I really liked writing or I loved the photos I took of the products and those that I found would be really helpful for any of my readers. 

Here is the second part of my 2018 favorites. I'm talking about my favorite skin care, body care, hair care and fragrances that I was introduced to in 2018. I see some of these becoming my staples. Some I have already repurchased. 

It's been a while since I've been impressed with concealer. I was avoiding buying Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define concealer, because there was so much hype around it and for some reason I just didn't trust the quality. But when I saw it on sale and how affordable it was, I threw it in my basket. I haven't regretted it. 

December has been eventful, like every year. Lots of cozy moments with the books that I finally started reading again, lots of new products that I either received or bought and I became auntie, which was definitely the highlight of this month.
