Olival Professional Amino Gel
This is a very gentle moisturizing cleansing gel. It contains betaine, polyglutamic acid, allantoin, licorice extract and aloe vera. Gel is transparent and feels super gentle. I could easily recommend this to anyone with very sensitive or irritated skin. It's basically for everyone that wants really gentle cleansing. Perfect for colder months, especially in the morning. I also use it as a second cleanse in the evening. This was a part of Olival skincare set that I just opened, though I had it for a year already.
Skincyclopedia Face Serum 20% Vitamin C
Skincyclopedia is a newer affordable brand that has come to our local DMs. All of the product that I have tried so far, have been really nice. Effective, yet gentle enough and the formulas are very spreadable and fairly lightweight. Serum has sodium ascorbyl phosphate which is water soluble and gentler form of vitamin C. That's why my skin likes it. Sometimes ascorbic acid product can feel a bit harsh on my skin. Not this one. The texture is interesting, because it looks like yellow colored liquid, but it has really good slip to it which makes it feel almost like pure glycerin, though there isn't any in it. It gives your skin a lot of very visible sheen and it feels a bit sticky, which is perfect as a base for makeup, yet it's not oily or greasy at all. It just gives you that look of glow from the actual texture. I love it now in colder months, because my skin can look a bit dehydrated and lack luster. As for the vitamin C benefits I can't see much yet, though it feels brightening overall. The scent reminds me of those chewy candy with pineapple flavor, though there is no fragrance added in the formula.
Kiko Sculpting Touch Creamy Stick Contour - 201 Chocolate
In the colder months, I love using creamy makeup products. My skin is not as oily, it can look dehydrated and it holds makeup better. So cream products give you that sheen and they blend better making it look less obvious on the skin. I usually had powder contour products, but this one from Kiko is a nicer creamy alternative. It's actually very pigmented and not super creamy, so it gives you payoff immediately, but it's fairly easy to blend as well. I especially like it as nose contour to give me some definition, but making it look very natural. Kiko has amazing makeup products anyway.
e.l.f. Camo Liquid Blush - Pinky Promise
I have had two shades of these for a while and now I added the third one. I like these better than Rare Beauty blushes. They are very pigmented, you need the thinniest dot. The applicator is big, but it scoops out product better. I think Rare Beauty formula is too liquid to pick up. I have loved Pinky Promise this monnth, which is the most vibrant pink shade. It just gives your cheeks that youthful healthy pink color. In the summer I loved Coral Crush which is a vibrant orange and I've recentley added Dusty Rose which is a warm muted brownish pink, really for those that don't like a lot of blush.
Trend It Up Clean & Precise Kajal - 301
I actually already bought another one of these. This is that traditional kajal pencil which means is creamy formula that doesn't dry down as soon as you apply it. You have a lot of playtime and it's great for smudging. I use this instead to create the shape of my wing and then blend it out and set it with eyeshadow. It gives me much more diffused and natural looking wing. The color is dark chocolate brown which is softer than black. This is all I wear on my eyes these days paired with some matte brown in the crease or something sparkly on the lid.
Lamel Blush Cheek Color - 404 Taupe
This is categorized ad blush, but the color Taupe is definitely contour shade. It's soft powder formula with slight sheen which makes it look so natural. The color is perfect grey cool toned brown and light enough for fair and light skin tones. It blends like a dream and has descent staying power. It's hard to find good light cool contour shades especially in drugstore price range and this is very affordable. I have been using it to set Kiko contour or on it's own for slightest definition. This shade is almost too light for me, but it can be built up a bit.
