L'Oreal came out with this Fine Flowers skin care range. I haven't seen any of these products in our drugstores, so I'm assuming we don't have it in Slovenia. But I did find it in Austria as well as online stores. I bought Gel-Cream Wash on a whim, because it was on sale and sounded good. A quest to find the perfect washing gel comes over me every summer. Some cleansing milks just feel to heavy and I want something that does the job, but doesn't feel too heavy or leave my skin dry feeling.

It comes in a half pink and half transparent tube. The tube is slim and long which means it will start falling off your shelf as soon as you touch it. But I like the practical tube packaging anyway.

In it is 150 ml of product and the regular price is 4.79€ on Feelunique. I bought it there, but when it was on sale, so it cost me 3.36€.

The opening is small enough and it doesn't spill the product all over, which is nice.

L'Oreal says that the wash contains extracts of rose and jasmine flowers. It should make your skin soft, comfortable and fresh. The gel-cream texture emulsifies in the water and creates creamy foam that cleanses and softens the skin without drying it out.

Rose is known for its soothing and comforting properties and jasmine for protective and moisturizing properties. 

It also doesn't contain any alcohol or soap.

The gel-cream is actually like a mix of thinner milk and classic gel. It's pearly white and very runny. Once you massage it in the skin with a bit of water, it turns into a milky white consistency that foams, but not too much. 

I like it, because it doesn't sting my eyes. It has a subtle soothing scent and I don't smell any flowers, which I like. On the skin it feels soothing, but also efficient in removing leftover makeup. I do a double cleanse, so oil cleanser and then this. I also use it in the morning to wash off any leftover dirt and product and it does the job well. I wouldn't use it as a first cleanse when removing makeup, although you can and it does remove it well with a bit more effort.

After I wash it off, my skin is left feeling clean, fresh, soft and not dry nor does it have any nourishing layer on top (like some cleansing milks tend to leave behind). It's a perfect cleanser for hot summery month in that it feels lightweight, does the job and doesn't dry out your skin. I have sensitive skin in general, but it's less irritated in the summer. This cleanser doesn't irritate my skin right now, but I can't say for sure for those of you with really sensitive skin.

The Fine Flowers range includes products like facial wipes, cleansing toner, cleansing milk and cleansing balm. Most of these products also have two versions, one for dry and sensitive skin and one for normal to combination skin.

I have to say I like it. It cleans well, feels lightweight, doesn't irritate and doesn't dry out my skin. What more could I wish for?! It's perfect for hot summer months as a morning cleanse or a second cleanse in the evening. The price point is also quite nice.

I finally found another hair jewel. It's Avon's hair oil, which is surprisingly not silicon based. I have tried the infamous Morrocan Oil in their Light version and didn't like it really. I think it's overrated. Today's version is a lot cheaper and surprisingly it should be for all hair types.

I know a lot has been written about this product, but I just needed to add my part. First, let me say that I am one of those people who gets chopped lips all the damn time. It's not some pleasure that I would endure only in the winter time, but all seasons around. Now you know that I am definitely on the search for a good lip product, because, not to sound desperate, my lip life depends on it.

But first let me start with some numbers. Nuxe Rêve de Miel is not one of the cheap lip products. It costs something around 12€ or more, depending on where you buy it. I got in while it was on sale on Feelunique for 8.23€ (around 7£, around 10$). There's 15 grams of product in it.

The packaging is a very heavy well made glass with a plastic lid. It's definitely not breakable, but not travel friendly, because of the weight. 

The texture is a very thick transparent cream, which looks yellow in the pot, but leaves no color on the lips. Once you apply it, it seems to melt a little, so the application is easier. It's probably due to the warm temperature of the fingers. I have to say the pot thing - not practical at all. You need to put your fingers in the put and bring in god knows what kind of bacteria. Now, if this was available in a stick form...oh yeah, that would be amazing!

The lip balm looks somewhat matte, definitely no shine on the lips. It sits nicely on the lips and is not sticky. I sometimes see it gets stuck in the inner corners of the lips. That happens when I put on too much of it and when my lips are extremely dry. If you put a thin layer on, it's also a good base for the lipstick, just don't overreact with it, like I did. 

It smells really nice. I would say it smells like lemon pastry, like a sweet lemon pie?! Maybe. Not a bad smell, at all.

As far as the performance goes, I still don't know what to think of it. It really does help the lips, especially dry and lightly chopped lips. If you put this on at night, the lips will look like new in the morning. It  is really really good product. However, when my lips were in a really horrible condition through this summer, one day of application wasn't enough to completely treat my lips. I know, maybe I'm looking for a miracle, but I thought it would really work in seconds. My lips were swollen, red, chopped and itchy. I needed about three to five days to completely recover my lips. 

So what I'm trying to say is, it really is an amazing product, but you still need to use it frequently, if your lips are in an extremely horrible condition. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has very dry and often chopped lips, like I do. For everyone else, it's not a must have product. If you found something that works for you, a regular lip balm, then don't wait your money on this. But for those who have tried everything and are desperate - buy it, you won't be sorry. 

I am using it every single night before I go to sleep and in the morning. I've had it for around 2 and half months and I still have one third of it. Keep in mind that I used it almost every half and hour, when my lips were chopped, so I think it's worth the money. But just in case, buy it when it's on the sale - so look out for a good deal :).

I have another great hair product! I love good hair products that make my hair smell and look nice. When it comes to the quality, I love using more expensive hair products, because they just seem to work better than others. 

I've only purchased one Kérastase product, so this is my second and it's a hit again. It's from their Nutritive line and it's called Nectar Thermique. It's a nourishing care for dry to very dry hair. It's a leave in and also heat-styling protective agent. I love multi-purposed products. Especially for the hair! My hair is greasy at the roots and very dry at the ends or around most of my length. 

This product makes my hair feel pretty soft and definitely moisturized and nourished. I think it's a good treatment for dry hair. But the thing I love the most about it, is the fact that it's also a heat protectant. I blow dry my hair, pretty much every time I clean them, so this makes my hair look amazing. It's like a hair mask that gets better with the heat. I love this.

The consistency is something between a milk and light cream. It's white, not to thick, not to thin and it applies like a dream. I literally use only almond size amount for my whole hair. It spreads easily and the thing that makes this product my favorite is the smell. OH MY GOD! It smells soooo good! The smell is something like summer :). By that I mean it smells pretty much like a sunscreen product. My hair smell so good after I use this. I am obsessed with smelling my hair (I know, it's a really weird picture seeing me smell my own hair). It really is a a great product.

There's 150 ml of product in the packaging, which is plastic and easy to squeeze out wanted amount of the product. I have been using it a lot and I still feel like I have more than half of it. You really need the smallest amount. That's great, because the product is not cheap, around 22€. 

I also bought similar version of this product from their Resistance line, which is more for damaged hair. I've reviewed that product here. The main difference between those two is that Nutritive makes my hair soft and moisturized, but the Resistance makes it also a lot straighter and gives more shine. It also makes my ends look a lot better than the Nutritive. However, the Resistance smells of cucumbers - not my favorite smell and Nutritive smells so incredible. Nutritive contains 150 ml, Resistance 125 ml. That's also a difference.

I would say both products are amazing, pretty expensive, but I think wort all the money. Especially because you really need so little to get the effect have a fabulous blow out. Decide for Resistance if you have more damaged hair and want the ends to look incredible, plus have a really straight hair. If you're hair is dry and you're looking for a good nourishing heat protectant that also smells incredible on the hair, then go for Nutritive. 

I love them both for different purposes and use both. Nutritive for when I want nice smelling hair and Resistance for when I want my hair to look flawless in terms of mostly my split ends.

Finally I have for you another hair product that I really like. I first heard of this product by Theodor Leaf on YouTube. He mentioned it a few times and always recommend it to his subscribers. I remembered it, googled and found it. I was so happy to also find a smaller size of this product, since I didn't wanted to spend a fortune on a product that I didn't know that well.

Starting with the packaging, which is plastic, small, pretty convenient and in order to get a product out, you have to pop the top and squeeze it out through a little hole. I admit there were times I squeezed out too much. Not the best packaging, but it will work.

It contains 100 ml and cost me 5.63 €. I bought it on Look Fantastic and even got a 10 % discount, which they always have on the site. Now it costs 6.88€. Of course you can also get bigger sizes.

You've probably heard of Paul Mitchell or his products. He is a famous hairdresser and his products are well respected by other fellow hairdressers.

Moisturising conditioners and Paul Mitchell’s exclusive Activated Moisture Blend of awapuhi, balance moisture and prevent dryness, while wheat-derived conditioners smooth the surface and reduce static. The Conditioner features a unique water-based formula excellent for both skin and hair.

It's basically a leave-in conditioner. I've only had leave-in masks and sprays, but not a leave-in conditioner. I was surprised to read that this can also be used on the skin. What? I know, weird. I have not tried in on the skin, just to clear that out. As far as the hair goes - I love it! 

It's a light blue transparent greasy texture. Very balm like. It's very moisturizing. I apply it on wet hair, before hair drying. My hair really feels moisturized and what I like the best is that my hair looks nourished and the overall look of my split ends is great. It really helps with the whole appearance of the hair and it gives the moisture that lasts for about two days, sometimes less. Keep in mind that my hair is really dry. I also clean it every other day. I have to say that this product surprised me. If you're looking for a hydrating leave in product for your hair and you have very dry hair, I highly recommend it. Use it sparingly, because the smallest amount is enough. Bare in mind that it's pretty heavy in terms of balminess or oiliness of the product, but it didn't weigh down my hair or anything like that.  


I really like this product. Whenever I don't use it, my hair just doesn't look as nice as it did before. I also like that it's so easy to use. For anyone with dry hair, I highly recommend. Plus you can always buy the little version, if you're not entirely sure you'll like it.
