I fell in love with L.O.V. BLUSHment Blurring Blush formulas. First I had one shade and now I bought a third one called 60 Be The Next She.E.O. It's just one of those blushes that has great pigmentation, doesn't need to be build up and lasts all day long.

Review: Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colour - 600 Coral Sass
23 Mar 2020
I believe these Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colours are one of the better ones in drugstore, if you like matte liquid lipstick. I am not a fan of such formulas, because my lips are too dry to handle wearing them.
Review: Essence LE The Beach House (Duo Eyeshadow, Duo Blush, Beach Glow Fluid, Lipstick, Kabuki Brush)
2 Jun 2016
Hey Beauties!
Summer limited editions tend to be one of my favorites, as well as December ones. Usually it's all about the glow, bronze and fun colors. This year's Essence Limited Edition The Beach House is another pretty and cute collection. It gives off a summer beach house vibe with a chevron design. I got the chance to test a few products before they come into the store and here are my thoughts on what you should get and what you can forget about.
Duo Eyeshadow - 01 Build Me a Sandcastle
It's a duo eyeshadow in transparent plastic pot. In it is 2 grams of product and it costs 2.19€. It has a pretty chevron design embossed in it.
Lighter shade is like an off white or even light beige. The other shade is a light taupe with a very slight tint of olive green. Both shades are so close to my skin tone that it seems like I am not wearing anything. Definitely a very light eye shadow shades. On darker skin tones this will probably look very dusty.
Texture is slightly wet, which means it doesn't really have a fall out. Both shades look matte, but actually have a satin finish. Because they are so light, the pigmentation is also not there or at least it seems so. In general they look like nothing on me and I am disappointed by that.
Duo Blush - 01 Give Me Vitamin Sea!
Blush also comes in a transparent plastic pot. In it is 9 grams of product and it costs 3.59€. It has the same chevron embossed design.
It also has wet texture, which almost feels creamy. Contrary to eye shadow, blush has a really good pigmentation. I don't like my blush to be too strong, so I have to use light application with this one. Finish is also satin, because it has small sheen to it without having any shimmer.
Lightest shade is a salmon pink with a white base. Darker shade is coral (mix of peach and pink). When you mix them, you get a bit lighter coral shade. I actually find this shade really wearable and it would probably suit many different skin tones. I like to use it lightly on me and it gives me such a natural flush of color.
Beach Glow Fluid - 01 Girls Just Wanna Have Sun
This is a shimmery fluid for sun-kissed complexion. It can be applied on cheeks for light accent or used on skin and neckline for a more intense look. You can also mix it with your day cream.
It comes in a white plastic tube with beige chevron design. Easy to carry around with you and hygienic. In it is 30 ml of product and it costs 3.79€.
I was most excited about this product. You know me and the glow, I love everything shiny. This is a creamy, slightly liquid fluid. It's very smooth and you can really thin it out. In general this doesn't provide coverage, just a light tint.
It's very yellow golden bronzed shade. Seems almost metallic and it also has small silver shimmer in it. In my opinion this would look even prettier without the unnecessary silver shimmer chunks. They're not huge, but they still seem out of place, since they look kind of sparse.
The sheen that this gives is so pretty. If you thin it out you get a slight tint. If you build it up, you can create a proper highlighter or bronzer, depending on how light or dark your skin is. For me it's dark, so I use it as a bronzer or on top of bronzer. You can build it up from really sheer to intense glow.
It dries really quickly, so you need to apply it in layers. That being said, if you want really metallic glow, I suggest you put it on and leave it for a few minutes until it's just about dry and then blend it out. This will give you a much thicker application.
Obviously you can mix it with body moisturizer for a really pretty all over glow. I am saving this product, because I really want to use it once I get some tan, especially on my body. It will look so pretty.
Here I used it as an all over shimmery bronzer.
Lipstick - 02 A Summer Kinda Girl
Lipstick comes in a pastel coral plastic. It has silver details. Kind of the usual packaging for Essence lipsticks. In doesn't say how much is in it, but it costs 2.99€.
It's sort of pinky peach shade on the outside and in the middle is darker berry shade. When you apply it on the lips it actually looks like a light pinky coral.
It's one of those creamy and sheer lipsticks that you can put on where ever and don't have to worry about it much. It almost feels like a mix of lip balm and lipstick and sits on the lips comfortably. It doesn't dry them out. In fact, I almost feel like it's moisturizing in a way.
Obviously, it's not long lasting and you will need to reapply it. But because the shade is light, it wears off nicely. This is definitely a no fuss fun colored summer product to throw in the bag.
Kabuki Brush - 01 Don't Make a Wave!
I really like design of this kabuki brush. It has white handle that looks like metal, but is in fact plastic. It also has super cute peach chevron design with small star fishes. On it says Every Summer Has a Story. It costs 4.99€.
Let me just point out that this is a huge brush. Seriously. It says that it can be used with duo blush or other powder products, but for me personally this is way too big to be used for blush. I tried it with bronzer, but it's a bit too fluffy to provide precise application. It would be amazing for applying bronzer or highlighter on body, since it's fluffy and doesn't pick up too much product.
Bristles are really soft and copper brown.
Here are swatches of all the products. You can click on the photo to get a closer look.
Eye shadow is a total miss for me. I am really pale and it looks like nothing on me. I would definitely skip this if I were you. Blush is actually really nice and the satin coral shade looks really pretty and natural. It would suit many different skin tone. If you're looking for a natural flush of color, go for it. Lipstick is also nice and good for anyone that wants just a tiny flush of color and moisturizing formula. This is on the go lipstick to carry with you. I would prefer a bit peachier shade for my personal taste. Kabuki brush is good, if you're looking for something soft for the body. It provides light application. For the face is just too big. My favorite is definitely beach glow fluid and I would recommend this one to anyone who wants something bronze tinted with a nice gold sheen. I could do without the silver shimmer in it, but it doesn't bother me that much. You can mix this with any cream and create an all over body glow. Darker skin tones can use this as highlighter and lighter as bronzer. I like that the formula let's you sheer it out or build it up to a hyper intense metallic glow. All in all, a pretty summery breezy limited edition. I just wish eye shadows would be a bit more colorful and maybe even shimmery.
Collection will be available in stores in June and July 2016. I encourage you to check it out, if you have your eye on certain products. Limited editions are known to get sold out quickly.
Apart from these that I showed you, you can also get some other bits. Lipstick comes in another shade called 01 Beachy Keen, which looks a bit darker. There is also another duo eyeshadow in the shade 02 Sea You Soon! which seems to be a mix of white and coral.
In the collection are also four nail polishes with different effects: 01 Beachy Keen (water shine effects), 02 A Summer Kinda Girl (water shine effect), 03 Sandy Toes & Salty Kisses (sea salt effect) and 04 Splish Splash (matt effect). Each costs 2.19€. To create fun manicures you can also get tip guides for creating stripes, waves or zigzag. They cost 1.19€.
In the collection is also included a little mini beach bag with mint and white chevron design. It costs 3.29€.

Soft Coral Spring Makeup
15 Apr 2016
Hey Beauties!
Spring is usually the time when most people love to wear a bit lighter glowy makeup to perk up the skin from winter dullness. I too seem to gravitate more towards lighter colors and especially a lot of glow in the spring time. Today's makeup is a lighter version of my usual makeup and looks pretty fresh and glowy.
On my eyes I started with beige matte shade all over the lids. Then I added lighter matte brown in the lid and darkened the outer corner with medium matte brown. I chose shimmery light peachy shade and applied it in the inner corner and all over the lid, but kept the outer corner out.
On the center of the lid I applied shimmery coral shade, which is still pretty light and sheered out. In the outer corner I used dark shimmery dark moss green shade to add slight green tint to it. Instead of black eye liner I used brown gel eye liner to make the look a bit softer.
I finished with black mascara.
On the rest of my face I used BB cream and liquid concealer. I also powdered a bit. To give my face a bit of color I lightly used matte bronzer all over my face. On my cheeks I applied shimmery coral blush with gold sheen. Then I added white pink highlighter on top of cheeks and mixed it in with blush to create really glowy cheeks.
I also wanted something soft and shiny on my lips so I created ombre lips. In the inner rim of lips I used matte orange lipstick. Then I took coral peachy lip gloss and applied it all over the lips to create that Korean like you've been sucking on popsickle look. I've been really loving wearing that kind of lip look lately.
What kind of makeup do you like to wear in the spring? Do you like shiny or bolder lipsticks?

Review: theBalm Hot Mama! Shadow/Blush
4 Apr 2016
Hey Beauties!
Hot Mama has become one my new favorite blushes. As you may know I love highlighters and this is a very shimmery glowy coral blush. I usually go for peach blushes, so this is a nice alternative for those days when you really want your cheeks to convey that healthy pretty glow.
theBalm has signature vintage or rather retro packaging through their whole line. This blush comes in a cardboard packaging with a retro design of a woman in a tropical place. I am not crazy about the design. I much prefer their Manizer packaging, which is really cute, although still a bit retro. I like that it's easy to carry around and has magnetic closing.
Hot Mama can be used as a shadow or a blush. In the packaging is 7.08 grams and I think it costs around 20€.
Here is the ingredients list.
This looks a lot more orange in the pan than it does on the skin. If you take a glance at it, you would think another orange blush, but it's much more dimensional on the actual skin.
The base of it it's pretty pink, but golden sheen on top of it makes it look coral. It's such a unique shade and the golden sheen on it is everything.
Mary-Lou Manizer is my favorite highlighter of all time and it's a light golden champagne shade. Hot Mama has a darker and more yellow golden sheen on top of it, but the formula of gold sheen seems very similar to Mary. It's finely milled and it gives a beautiful sheen rather than glittery look.
Texture is a tiny bit wet, which means it stays on like crazy. It's one of the most long lasting blushes that I own. I can wear this the whole day and at the end it still looks exactly the same.
It's also crazy pigmented so be careful when applying it. You need the tiniest amount on the brush. Sometimes I struggle to apply just a light flush, because I almost always overdue it.
It gives the cheeks a very natural healthy flush of color and makes them stand out a bit more, because of the gold sheen. You could probably skip highlighter with this blush, if you don't like it to be too glowy. The glowy sheen makes it look very fresh and dewy looking which I really like.
Obviously you can also wear this on your eyes and it works great there too, but I always use it as a blush.
I usually go for peach blushes and I very rarely use pink. Hot Mama is the perfect coral addition to my collection. I have nothing that's the same color. The one that comes closest to it, it's blush shade from Makeup Revolution Ultra Sculpt and Contour Kit in Ultra Fair C01. In the pan they look exactly the same, but once swatched, this one is even more gold, peachier and lighter. Hot Mama is a lot more pigmented and the gold sheen is not as obvious. Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso has the most similar finish, except that Hot Mama has a bit more sheen to it and more glow.
I absolutely love the finish of this blush. Gold sheen is everything to me. If the base would be a bit peachier, I would probably wear it all the time. But because it's pink based, I like to pair it with more brighter lip colors and not so much with my very neutral makeup looks. It's crazily pigmented and stays on my skin the whole day. I think the price is good for the amount you get, but is on a bit more expensive side. If you love coral shades and adore highlighting blushes with golden sheen, you'll definitely love this.

Review: Avon Ultra Glimmerstick Lip Liners
11 Feb 2016
Hey Beauties!
It feels like all I'm testing these days are lip products and boy, did I stock up on these. I have a nice selection of matte lipsticks still coming your way. Today however, we'll talk about Avon's Ultra Glimmerstick Lip Liners.
Lip pencils come in a classic black plastic packaging. Pencils are thin and look sleek. The writing on it is silver.
On the bottom of each pencil is a small line which shows you what shade it is. The name of shades are also written on the bottom.
Pencil itself is very thin and so is the product inside. In the beginning it's sharpen, but with use it gets a bit thicker. It's still a very precise pencil and outlining your lips shouldn't be a problem.
The range includes 7 shades in total and each has 0.28 grams in it. Regular price of these is 6€, but you know Avon, they always have some deals going on. Currently you can get them for 3.90€ (Slovenia). You can buy Avon products from Avon sellers or find official Avon webpage of your country.
The shade range is very "classic". You have nudes, browns, pinks and reds. No brighter or unusual colors.
The formula is creamy but still firm. If I compare it to Essence longlasting lipliners, I'd say that Avon's are firmer and a lot less creamy. Which means you can get a really nice precise outline, but it also makes it easy enough for you to spread it on your lips. I hate those really hard pencils that you have to press on the lips and then almost always break some off, because you're pushing too hard. These are just firm enough and creamy enough to make a nice easy application.
They absolutely will accentuate any dry patches, like most lip pencils.
It's a pigmented and slightly waxy formula, but it almost reminds me more of crayons. The pigmentation with lighter shades will still let your freckles see through.
They are long lasting (I don't check the actual hours) and prevent lipstick from bleeding out.
Nude - yellow toned light brown.
Simply Spice - medium warm brown.
Mystery Mauve - pinkish medium brown. It's very similar to Simply Spice, but a bit more pink toned.
Pink Cashmere - pearly shimmery light pink.
Pink Bouquet - medium warm pink.
Coral Desire - warm brick orange based brown.
True Red - pink based red.
I love that they have a nice nude brown - Nude, because I've been searching for such shade in our drugstores and all lighter nudes are always pink based, which really bothers me. I also like Simply Spice for my brown lipsticks and one of my favorite and most unique shades is Coral Desire.
These lip liners are nice addition to all my lipsticks. The shade range is very classic and it will suit most your usual lipstick shades. You won't find a lip liner for all the bright and purple shades that you own, though. Formula is just firm enough and not too creamy, which makes for a nice application. I am not fussy about lip liners, so I really like these.

Ampak v kratkem času sem si res naredila polno zalogo šmink in svinčnikov. V prihodnjih dneh lahko pričakujete še več ocen mat šmink. Danes bom govorila o Avon Ultra Glimmerstick svinčnikih za ustnice.
Svinčniki imajo klasično črno embalažo in so precej tanki.
Vsebuje nekaj nevtralnih, rjavih, roza in rdečih odtenkov. Nič norih živih odtenkov.
Formula je kremasta, a vseeno precej trda. Če jih primerjam z Essence longlasting lipliner, so Avonovi bolj trdi in manj kremasti.
So pigmentirani in malo voskasti, čeprav me bolj spominjajo na voščenke.
Nude - svetlo rjava z rumenim podtonom.
Simply Spice - topla srednje rjava.
Mystery Mauve - roza srednje rjava. Je zelo podobna Simply Spice, ampak bolj roza.
Pink Cashmere - bisernato bleščeča svetlo roza.
Pink Bouquet - srednja topla roza.
Coral Desire - topla rjava z oranžnim podtonom.
Ti svinčniki so zanimiv dodatek mojim šminkam. V naboru ne boste našli žive in vijolične odtenke. Formula je ravno trdna dovolj in hkrati ne preveč kremasta, kar omogoča dobro nanašanje. Sama nisem preveč izbirčna glede svinčnikov za ustnice, zato so mi ti zelo všeč.
*Izdelke mi je poslalo podjetje Avon.
