As with most Zoeva eyeshadow palettes, this one too comes in a paper box packaging. I find it sleek and great for storage, but not the best for traveling with. It also comes with a sleeve that you put over the palette to keep it securely closed and tight.

Caramel Melange has combination of warm chocolate brown and metallic gold print. It seems similar to Cocoa Blend, but a lighter and warmer variation which is also what it essentially is on the inside.

In it is 10 eyeshadows with 1.5 grams of product in each eyeshadow. Price on Zoeva site is 22.50€. I usually get it from Douglas site (Austria) where they cost 21.95€ and if you wait for a descent discount, you can get it even cheaper.

Caramel Melange is definitely a warmer addition to classic Cocoa Blend. It has 6 matte shadows and 4 shimmery. Actually 3 shimmery and one is almost metallic looking. There is a lot of light and medium warm neutrals and also some warm pops of color. 

Wax Paper - warm matte light beige shade. It's yellow toned and perfect for all over the lid for fair skin tones or as a matte inner corner highlight.

Universal Delight - warm matte light tan shade. It's the best blending shade for fair to light skin tones, because it's really light.

Aftertaste - warm matte medium orange toned red. Perfect shade to warm up the look or use it straight on the lid. It looks intimidating in the packaging, but looks soft enough on the skin.

182°C - warm shimmery light orange with gold shimmer and gold sheen. Gorgeous light orange for the lid.

Liquid Center - warm shimmery medium metallic copper shade. It almost has a bit of rose gold tone to it. It's my absolute winner. This looks like a proper liquid metal on the eyes. 

Alchemy - warm matte medium red toned brown. Yet another one of those medium shades that is perfect for warming up the crease and defining it.

Start Soft - warm medium orange toned brown. This one is similar to Alchemy. Alchemy is redish brown while Start Soft is orange brown. It's again my favorite crease shade for a warm look.

Finish Sensual - warm medium cocoa brown. It's the most neutral looking brown in the palette, but it still has a definite warmth to it. Perfect for a more neutral crease,

Almost Burnt - warm shimmery light yellow gold. One of those shades that can almost look metallic, but not as metallic as Liquid Center. It's a great pop of color on the lid.

Edible Gem - warm matte dark purple brown base with sparse gold shimmer. This looks much more purple in the packaging, but on me it looks like a slightly purple tinted brown. It's still warm toned. The shimmer in it is really sparse and I don't get why the shimmer was necessary. 

In general all these shades have a slightly wet texture to them, which makes them really buttery with almost no fallout. All matte shades (Wax Paper, Universal Delight, Alchemy, Start Soft, Finish Sensual) except Aftertaste have a really lovely buttery formula. Aftertaste it's the only one that feels drier once you swatch it which also means that you can build it up or sheer it down.

182°C and Almost Burnt both have very buttery formula and amazing pigmentation. Liquid Center is the most buttery shade of them all. It almost feels creamy once you swatch it and it has the most incredible pigmentation. Edible Gem is again on the dry side of matte shades like Aftertaste. It has the most fallout, but good pigmentation.

In general these all have amazing pigmentation. Matte shades are definitely comparable to matte shades from Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar palette. The only difference is that sometimes some Too Faced mattes feel even more silky buttery to the touch. Shimmery shades are a lot more pigmented than those from Too Faced. Liquid Center reminds me of Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Game Face. They almost have the same texture to it, but Liquid Center is opaque in one swipe while Game Face needs to be build up because of sheerer formula.

They are really long lasting. I can wear them for the whole day with no getting into the lines and very minimal fading. I should state that I always use eye primer underneath. Otherwise my lids get too oily for any eyeshadow.

I also compared some shades. 

Wax Paper (Zoeva Caramel Melange) - Bitter Start (Zoeva Cocoa Blend)

Essentially they look identical. Wax Paper is a bit lighter and more yellow toned while Bitter Starts is just slightly darker and more rose toned.

Starts Soft (Zoeva Caramel Melange) - Substitute For Love (Zoeva Cocoa Blend)

Starts Soft is darker and more redish orange based while Substitute For Love is lighter and more yellow toned.

Alchemy (Zoeva Caramel Melange) - Freshly Toasted (Zoeva Cocoa Blend)

I wanted to compare these two, because they both looked red toned. It turns out Alchemy is a lot lighter and almost more orange red based while Freshly Toasted is a lot darker and a lot more brown but with a warm undertone.

Almost Burnt (Zoeva Caramel Melange) - Pure Ganache (Zoeva Cocoa Blend)

Almost Burnt is a very yellow gold while Pure Ganache is light copper gold and therefore more orange based.

Liquid Center (Zoeva Caramel Melange) - Game Face (Colourpop Super Shock Shadow)

Liquid Center looks more like a real copper shade with a bit of rose gold in it while Game Face is brown based copper and looks more orange toned. It also looks darker.

Finish Sensual (Zoeva Caramel Melange) - Mousse (Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar)

These two also look really similar, but have different undertones. Finish Sensual looks warmer and slightly more red toned while Mousse looks cooler and slightly more yellow toned.

Zoeva Cocoa Blend

Zoeva Mixed Metals

I can't recommend you Zoeva eyeshadow palettes enough. The price is still much better than other high end brands and you get an amazing quality of shades. It's just the matter of choosing the right shade combination for your taste. I am really satisfied with all that I own and use them a lot. Cocoa Blend was my most used before I got Caramel Melange. Caramel Melange is warm lovers dream and an absolute must have to get if you already own Cocoa Blend because these two compliment each other well. Cocoa Blend is for those that prefer warm tones, but not all the way. It's also very neutral as far as shades goes. Mixed Metals is for you if you're searching for pops of color, but already have enough of neutrals.

My absolute favorite shade from Caramel melange is Liquid Center. The perfect metallic copper. I also adore Universal Delight, because it's one of my lightest warmest crease shades for blending. Starts Soft is my favorite for the actual crease, because it's warm and more orange toned. Finish Sensual is perfect crease shade for when I want something more neutral. I also adore 182°C and Almost Burnt as the perfect pops of color for the lid. The only shade that is unnecessary in my opinon is Edible Gem. I would much prefer a darker matte brown in its place or another great pop of color.

Amazing pigmentation, long lasting, great choice of shades and finishes and reasonable price. I highly recommend you to try one, if you're looking for good palettes that you'll use on daily basis.

Avon Makeup Setting Spray

I bathed myself in this. It was super hot in August and my face got glowy in the matter of minutes, so I needed this. Setting spray actually feels kind of refreshing and it definitely prolongs the wear of my makeup. It also sets powders nicely so that you don't look too matte. I have a review here. 

Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation 010 Light Beige

Catrice novelties came out and this foundation was the first on my wish list. I have to say I really like it. It's very lightweight on the skin, has a semi-matte finish and is very long lasting. I got the lightest shade which is too light for me now that I got some tan, but would also be almost too dark for winter. I find shades more on the neutral side. There is no obvious yellow undertones. Some even have a bit more prominent pink undertone.

Kiko Radiant Fusion Baked Powder 01

It's very lightweight, finely milled baked powder that looks very natural on the skin. It reminded me a bit of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting powders (by the looks of it). Finish is somewhat satin and it doesn't make you look matte or dead like. It also doesn't prevent oils to come through. I like it for the under eye area and I'm sure I'll love it for all over the face in the winter time, when my skin tends to look a bit dull.

Kiko Flawless Fusion Bronzer Powder 01

I loved the packaging of powder so much (btw it's magnetic - so lush!) that I went back and also got me one of those bronzers. Bronzer has the same satin finish which looks very natural and skin like. I got the lightest shade and it's pretty light. For now it's a bit too light, but it'll be perfect for colder month. It also has a very neutral undertone, more red than orange.

Terra Naturi Shimmer Powder 01 Golden Highlight

This is my favorite highlighter for the summer when I get some tan. It's golden and has very small shimmer. This is not as in your face as Mary-Lou, but it still makes your face glowy and sunkissed. I absolutely adore it. You can find review here. 

Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar

I bought this on my trip in Strasbourg (imagine my excitement going into Sephora for the first time) and ever since, I have been using it pretty much every day. Some warm matte shades are incredible, as well as shimmery warm shades. I still haven't tried all of them, I am gonna be a downer here and say that I am pretty sure that this is not as good as my other two Zoeva palettes. The pigmentation with Zoeva eyeshadows seems to be a lot more pigmented and I love the almost creamy texture better. Still have to test it out a bit more to completely make up my mind. I have to mention the smell of this palette, it smells like vanilla cookies. I love that whenever I open it, it just smells so good.

Catrice Lash Dresser Comb Mascara Colume & Length

This was also one of the new Catrice products that I decided to get and I am loving it. It has a comb like brush that gives my lashes lovely definition. You can build up volume by applying more coats, although don't put on too much, because it can look clumpy. I love how well it separates the lashes and it's perfect for those no eye makeup days, because it looks so well on its own. 

Avon Liquid Chrome Eye Liner Electric Blue

One of the best blue shades of liquid liner. It has a very bright blue shade and metallic or chrome finish to it. Perfect shade for summer and everyone seems to love it. The formula dries quickly and it stays on for the whole day. I don't love the sponge applicator as much, because it's a bit harder to work with. In my opinion brush applicator would work better.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Original

I already had tester of it and when I saw mini size in Sephora, I knew I had to get it. This makes eyeshadow stay on the eyes all day long. It's almost transparent and won't cover discoloration or veins, but it just works so well. 

Zoeva 228 Luxe Crease

My new favorite crease brush. Before I used Zoeva 231 Petite Crease to define my crease, but 228 is just bigger and even fluffier. I love that because it gives me wider and softer defined crease. It just works so well on my eyes. 

Avon Shine Burst Stick Grapefruit

After a long hot day of salty water and sun, my lips crave some moisture and this is by far the best product for that. I've pretty much only been using those sticks on my holidays and Grapefruit is a definite color winner. It's lovely redish pink that just goes with every type of my warm kind of makeup. I have a review here. 

Kiko Nail Lacquer - 372 Nude and 338 Light Lavender

My two new favorite shades in general. Nude is lovely dusty pink. It's one of those rare nude shades that doesn't disappear on my nails. Light Lavender is gorgeous mix of purple and blue and it looks so pretty on the nails. One of those rare unique blues that you can't always find. 

Yves Rocher Malaysian Coconut Eau de Toilette and Silky Lotion

I already wrote a review of the Eau de Toilette here. For my birthday I also got the silky lotion and summer was perfect time to use this. In combination, this gives you the best coconut scent ever. It's a true coconut scent, not like some of those artificial sweet scents. The lotion is very light and soaks into skin quickly. One of those light summer lotions. 

Avon Advance Texhniques Sun-Light Spray

It's basically a sun protector. It contains UV filter and it should protect your hair from sun damage. I used this on the beach and I loved it. It's lightweight and it doesn't stick the hair, but it also doesn't hydrate. I love the scent of it, which is very much salon like. This is perfect for all of you who like smelly hair products, because I love to use it just to refresh my hair. On the beach it also turned out as a fairly good protection. Usually I come back from vacation blond, but not this year. I still got lighter hair color, but not as much as usually, so I think I have this spray to thank for.

Amour Perfumes 162 Manifesto

Slovenian's probably know of Refan and in Prekmurje we also have Amour. They both do inspired perfumes by high end brands and 162 is inspired by Yves Saint Laurent Manifesto. I've been using this on holiday, because I don't like to carry full size perfume bottles with me. It's one of my favorite high end scents that I wish I would have a full size version. Lovely powdery, slightly sweet and very elegant scent. 

Strasbourg (France)

This definitely deserves a place in my favorites. We've been to Strasbourg and I loved this city. They have Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg and it's in the middle of the center. I love the Gothic style and intricate details of it. You see it as a huge building standing out among other smaller new style building. It's also really pretty on the inside. 

Strasbourg is surrounded with rivers and it almost looks a bit like Venice. The architecture somewhow reminds me a bit of German style and then other bits look like what I expect France to look like. It's a mix and match of both worlds, because Strasbourg is very close to German boarder and you can definitely feel the influence. I loved walking around these streets. 

Obviously they also have a lot of stores and I had to do some shopping, because I couldn't miss an opportunity like that. You'll see what I got in my New In post. I was most excited to visit Sephora and I went to three, because I really wanted to get my hands on Too Faced Sweat Peach palette, but it was apparently sold out in all of France. 

France is well know for their food and we were lucky enough to go on some fancy dinners. You can see my dessert on the right side. It was so good that I tried to recreate something similar and you can see how it turned out on my Instagram here. I am pretty proud of it. It tasted nice as well. 

I also find out that one of the shopping centers sells Pierre Herme macaroons. I first heard of Pierre Herme, when I got L'Occitane last year's December collection. I read that he is supposedly "the Picasso of Pastry" and since I've also attempted making macaroons a few times, I was curious to try his. I can report his are amazing. They are not nearly as sweet as all make them and Pierre Herme has some wicked flavor combinations. 

All in all it was a lovely short vacation and I would definitely want to go back. 

Sea Vacation

I'm pretty sure, I was born in a wrong place, because I belong on the sea. Ever since I've been little, we always went to the sea and it was also a really good treatment for my skin allergies. I still practice that. This year it was Poreč (Croatia). I am always really looking forward to going to the sea, because it's just one of the most relaxing places I can think of. I love the sound of waves crashing on the sore, birds playing in the sky and the smell of salty water. It's the most care free time of the year and this year it was as well.

I've actually broken my toe nail (which still hurts), got mild sunburn, took some underwater photos and ate too much sweets.  I'll leave you with some of my favorite photos from there. 

This palette also comes in a cardboard packaging. It has magnetic closing. I've grown to love these kinds of packaging, because they are so easy to open and close. I don't know how they would be to travel with though. It also has metallic silver and gold writing on it.

I believe the price is around 22€. Before they cost 17.50€, so if you want them, you better get them before they decide to make them even more expensive. In the palette is 10 x 1.5 grams of product, so 15 grams of product all together. 

The names are all metals or stones and shade range varies from warm yellow greens to cooler blues. I think of this one as an colorful addition to basic warm Cocoa Blend palette. The shades have a wide range of colors, are mostly very colorful, but still very wearable. 

Alloy: plumy brown. This looks really purple in the packaging, but on my eyes it looks more of a brown with some purple sheen to it. It may look cooler on cool skin tone. It looks similar to Delicate Acidity from Cocoa Blend, but that one is more purple. They are in fact similar, but Alloy looks like plum tinted brown, while Delicate Acidity has purple sheen that could pass as a purple.

Neo Brass: warm very yellow based light green. This is my favorite shade of this whole palette. It reminds me of L'Oreal Infallible Bronze Goddess eyeshadow, but that one is in fact a lot darker and more muddy, not nearly as bright and yellow toned as Neo Brass.

Bronce: warm medium olive green. This one also has yellow undertone, but it's darker than Neo Brass and more olive.

Rusty Steel: bronzy golden brown. It reminds me of Subtle Blend from Cocoa Blend, but it's more true bronze golden brown. Subtle Blend is more of an orange based brown.

Copper Plate: warm copper red. It has a very orange undertone, but looks more redish brown and has a very red sheen to it. This one is probably my second favorite from this palette. 

Warm Silver: warm light pink. It's very white based and it's lighter than my skin tone.

Platinum: camouflage green. It looks like one of those camouflage greens, that looks like a grey green. In the pan it looks cool toned, but when you swatch it, it has light golden sheen to it. This is definitely the most unique shade in the palette. I actually really like it. On cool skin tones this may look a lot cooler.

Ore Stone: cool petroleum blue. One of those peacock blues. 

Aluminum: cool medium grey. 

Onyx: matte black. This is the only matte shade in the palette. 

My favorite shade of them all is Neo Brass. It's exactly my kind of green shade, very warm and yellow toned. My second favorite is Copper Plate. This will be amazing for the fall, but I love it with bronze makeup as well. Rusty Steel is epitome of bronze shade and is also one of my favorites. Bronce is again one of my favorites, because I love these warm greens. Platinum is the most unique shade and also one of my favorites. It can look cool or warm depending on what kind of makeup I use with it. Alloy is very wearable, while Ore Stone is nice colorful choice. Warm Silver is my perfect inner corner shade for neutral looks. Aluminum is probably the only shade that I don't care for, because I don't like to wear grey shades. Onyx is what every palette needs, nice black matte shade that I love to use to darken other shades or as an eyeliner. 

Pigmentation of these is just insane. Whenever I try other eyeshadows, I get why I don't use them as much. Zoeva palettes are just so pigmented with one swipe. The more metallic the shade, the more buttery, almost creamy, it is. Copper Plate is one of the most buttery shades from this palette. It's almost a cream. Matte Onyx is the only shade that feels the driest to the touch, although it doesn't lack in the pigmentation department at all.

I would say the pigmentation is even a bit better than Cocoa Blend. In cocoa Blend is more matte shade, which obviously feel drier to the touch and therefore are not as even as buttery metallic shades. But in Mixed Metal all metallic shades are super pigmented, while in Cocoa Blend some feel a bit drier. I have to say the quality is just superb.

All the shades in this palette have a very metallic finish with lots of metallic sheen, but no visible glitter or shimmer. Onyx is the only matte shade and the one that can look a bit dusty, but can be build up to full opacity. 

There is almost no fall out with these and they stay on the lid for the whole day without smudging or going into crease. If you get very oily lids, they might get into the crease a little. Especially because they are very buttery. 

With my makeup looks I always use Avon Ideal Flawless Eyeshadow Primer, not that those shades need it to be more intense. It's just a habit that I use with any eyeshadow really. 

Here are some of the makeup looks that I created with this palette. I included all the shades. Keep in mind that my camera picks up a lot of warm tones and that I have a warm yellow skin tone. Some of these shades would probably look completely different on cool skin tones.

I am more than in love with this palette. Cocoa Blend is my favorite as well and matte shades from Cocoa Blend I use with literally every makeup look. Mixed Metals gives you some more color variations. The pigmentation and texture is insane. They stay on for the whole day. Zoeva eyeshadow palettes are just amazing and I would highly recommend you to get some.
