CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Face Mask

CurrentBody is the IT destination for skin care devices and tools. They feature all the latest devices that can be used at home for your skin. I've quite grown to using and loving skin care devices after I have tried Foreo UFO and Bear. That's why I was so excited to test out their LED Light Therapy Face Mask. I've just started using it for a few weeks now. Let me just say I've delved into researching benefits of red light therapy once I got of corticosteroid cream for my eczema and atopic dermatitis and I had severe red skin syndrome. I was desperate and upon my research I've read that red LED light should be very healing for those types of skin problems. Ever since I've had in the back of my mind this though, but I never really tried a proper device. Until now. I have to say, I want to properly use it for at least a few months to give you proper results, but so far I'm loving it. I've noticed it helps to speed up any blemish healing process. Ever since I started using it my skin has just been in good condition all the time. No driness, plumped look of the skin and I can swear my smile lines are less deep. I've also started to notice my two prominent forehead lines almost looking less deep. There has been an improvement in overall brightness of the skin tone. I have stopped using other devices and I don't use any retinol products, so I can give you a proper review and I'll definitely do a separate blog post about it once I use it more. But so far, I have really high expectation just based on the short use. It has sort of silicon like mask with LED light on one side. You get a battery with it that you charge and has s switch button. You put it on your face, switch it on and use it for just 10 minutes a day 3 to 5 times a week. I find this time sort of relaxing and meditative in a way. It's me time. I usually use it in the evening and I will also use it on the back of my hand to see if it helps with my sun damage and my freckles.

Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50+ PA++++

I got a few makeup products from a fellow beauty blogger (back in the day) and with the makeup she sent me some of skin care and other bits that she doesn't use anymore. Among these was also this Skin1004 SPF. I love so many of Skin1004 products that I was very excited to try this SPF. This is chemical sunscreen in what they say is serum formula with hyaluronic acid and centella asiatica. This is so nice. It's like a very light cream that almost feels like serum once you start to blend it. It leaves no white cast and leaves a nice hydrated finish that isn't super dewy, but has a bit of shine. It soaks into the skin well and wears good under makeup. It's so easy to use as it's so lightweight, yet hydrating and soothing because of centella.

I believe this has been reformulated, but I still have the old version which is just so good. It's lightweight, liquid and gives you that velvet matte finish that stays in place and looks so good. I love this 036 shade, because it's more of a medium shade with that warm to olive undertone that I mix with other lighter foundations to get my summer complexion that matches my body. Catrice is so affordable as well that I love it even more for that reason.

Look by Bipa Delicate Compact Bronzer - 030 Sunny Beach

This is house brand by Austrian drugstore called Bipa. They have the same prices as Essence and Catrice and also do limited editions. It's that perfect shade of contour/bronzer. Bronzers tend to be more warm and contour is usually cooler, but this is that in-between shade that will give you definition, but can also be used as a defining bronzer. It's got very smooth fine texture. It can look a bit patchy, if you don't apply it lightly and make sure to apply it on powdered skin, but I love the shade so much. It gives you definition in an instant and is just dark enough. Plus it's perfect for the crease as it gives you that defined crease look with just one shades and it's not too dark perfect as a blending shade.

Who doesn't know of Wet n Wild highlighters. I think it was one of the most known highlighters in US drugstore. I pulled it out for summer, because this shade is a bit darker. It has that rich almost peach toned gold shade with metallic shine that is still fine in shimmer so that it can look more natural, if you apply it lightly. I am kind of over those very shiny metallic highlighter with stark sheen. But this one can still look so natural. A true classic.

Colourpop Super Shock Cheek Pearlized - Brut Flute

I am a huge fan of Colourpop Super Shock Shadows, but I've actually never tried their Super Shock Cheeks. This is even creamier that eyeshadows. It feels like a cream under your fingers, but once you apply it on the cheeks it looks like a powder. This one has pearlized finish which means it has highlighter like sheen. Brut Flute looks like a pretty dark mauve rose shade with golden sheen, but oh my, this looks so good on the cheeks. I will admit this will probably be too dark for me in the winter, but not in summer it looks like that proper sun burnt shade which is just perfect for the cheeks. Golden pearl gives your cheeks such a luxurious sheen. It's like a darker and moodier version of Nars Orgasm blush with more refined sheen. Plus it's so easy to apply and it practically blends itself. I've been using it non-stop.

Juvia's Place  - The Saharan II and The Douce Eyeshadow Palette

I actually got four palettes from Juvia's Place, but here are the two that I had the chance to try out already. I've been sleeping on this brand. It has become wildly popular once it came on the market quite a few years back. All I know is that it's beauty brand owned by woman of color who wanted to create makeup that would enhance her dark skin tone. That's why their products are so highly pigmented and so rich in color. Quality is just amazing and they blend lovely as well. I love how each palette as a pop of color and it's probably the first brand that each palette looks so interesting and not "boring". In each palette is a shade that I am inspired by. Saharan II has three rich matte warm browns with a few golden and grenish blue shimmers. I used those two blues over creamy black pencil to create fun shiny eyeliner and it was so easy to make. The Douce is probably the most unique out of the four palettes I got. It has a mix of pinks, green, silver and some browns. I love Tart shade which is like a transparent base with duochrome pinkish purple reflect. So fun for inner corners or just over a bare lid. I am having so much fun playing with all these colors.
