I already tried FOREO UFO mini device and that one I really liked. It was my introduction to proper skin care devices. I've realized they give your home skin care routine a spa like experience and definitely help to keep your skin in even better shape. This time I was testing FOREO BEAR which is basically your at home facial fitness device with microcurrent.

Technology

Foreo Bear is medical microcurrent device with Anti-Shock System. They say it's the most effective microcurrent facial device on the market right now. They have clinical and science based studies. Bear visibly improves signs of ageing by gently energizing and firming 69 muscles of the face and neck. It's basically professional facelift at home. 

Device uses pro level microcurrent and T-Sonic massage. Bear stimulates and tones muscles to firm the skin above. It is clinically proven that it improves wrinkles, fine lines, skin firmness and elasticity. It gives you sculpted complexion and lifted cheeks. You can see results within just one week of using it.

FOREO Serum Serum Serum

Foreo Bear should be used with some kind of serum and Foreo actually has an amazing Serum Serum Serum. It's lightweight serum with hydrating and antioxidant ingredients like hyaluronic acid and squalane which are micro-capsulated to help push skin nourishing formula into deeper layers of skin. Serum is formulated with 85% of natural ingredients, cruelty free, fragrance free.

Apart from squalane and multiple hyaluronic acids it also contains betaine, panthenol, urea and adenosine, all great ingredients for nourishing and moisturizing the skin. 

It has heavy glass bottle with gold pump and top. In the bottle it looks slightly pink colored and you can see small bubbles which are encapsulated ingredients. 

It has such a lightweight, but slip formula that is great to use with Bear as it makes it glide smooth over the skin. It also really hydrates and moisturizes the skin while using it with Bear. This is one of rare hyaluronic acid serums that I can use and still apply my whole makeup routine on top and it doesn't pile at all. I love how plump and glowy it makes my skin look. 

In it is 30 ml of product and it costs around 60€. It should last you for about two to three months, depending on how much you use. I went heavy with it and am on my last drop, because my skin loved it and I used it while it was still a bit more dehydrated than it is now. 

Performance

You can use 3 pre-programmed guided treatments - total facial knockout, contour cardio or gentle V-shape yoga. All are around 2 minutes long. You also have setting which include basic or pro level, 5 levels of T-sonic pulsation and auto-off time. 

You can program your own treatment and choose among 5 levels of T-sonic pulsation and 10 levels of microcurrent. The app also lets you use your phone as a mirror as well as help you find your device, if you can't find it. I like to create my own program, because I can adjust each level and I usually use it for longer than 2 minutes, more like 10 or 15.

When I first used it, I used it on about level 2 of microcurrent and I felt those nerves above my eyes twitching somewhere in my brain. It felt like a surreal feeling. I noticed that the more serum I had on the more I felt the tingle - quite obvious when a metal touches the water, it transfers more electricity/current. But then I got used to it. I have come up to about level 5 or 6 and am staying here for a while. It feels like a little tingle and you can even see your tiny muscles twitching as the current goes through the skin. T-sonic pulsation gives you that bit of pulsation that helps to sort of activate your skin care into the skin better, plus it has that sound feel to it as well. 

After the first use I noticed first results. My face is very uneven and my left side is very visibly lower than my right side. My left eye looks so much more hooded, outer corner is lower and even my brow is lower. I also noticed the skin around my chin being lower on my left side. So when I first used it, I immediately notice how my left eye looked more opened and the brow was lifted. 

Bear fits great into all those contours of the face like your jaw line, cheek contour, around the lips and even between the brows. I use it in all those contours and on the sides of the neck. I've noticed that this is great to be used before any big events or before applying makeup, because it definitely brings out your contours more. It gives your face that instant lift. It's great for depuffing your face in the morning or when you feel bloated.

Instant effects are noticeable after just one use, but with prolong everyday use you definitely notice your contours getting more defined (defined jaw, defined cheeks, lifter eyebrows), your face starts to look less round and puffy and the skin in general looks more plump, dare I say healthier. I noticed that my discoloration around my mouth looks less dark (and I haven't introduced any brightening skin care product in my routine). I also noticed that my nasolabial lines aren't as pronounced as they used to be. I wasn't able to diminish my two prominent forehead lines, but I know this would need something much stronger. I also can't say about my fine lines around the eyes, because it doesn't bother me that much to be analyzing it. 

One thing I also noticed with the use is that microcurrent can really help with healing scars faster. I used it over my blemishes and I felt my blemish tingle much more intense than the rest of my skin. That being said, my blemishes healed faster and I've read since that microcurrent is also used to heal scars after surgeries and such, so it makes sense.

My skin isn't getting any younger and I feel like this device is definitely a step up to my regular anti-aging routine. Foreo Bear is for those of us that notice our contours being less defined, our skin gravitate and fine lines becoming deeper. This is for those that start to notice those first signs of aging and would like to add something advanced to their routine. Device is easy to use and if you use it regularly you definitely start to notice improvement in contours, lines, but also texture and plumpness of the skin. It's the most known microcurrent device on the market and the technology behind it is on point. I love that I now have a device to work my facial muscles and help my skin care products work its best.
