This is transparent water like toner with BHA - acids that help deep clean your pores. It's got just a bit of slip to it, so it's just a little thicker than water. It's willow bark based and contains betaine salicylate as alternative to salicylic acid. Apparently betaine salicylate is milder than salicylic acid, so there should be double the strength of it in a product to be as effective as salicylic acid. It's also gentler on the skin, so there is no stinging or hypersensitivity. In the formula are also arginine, panthenol and hyaluronic acid to make it hydrating, soothing and anti-aging.

I was a huge fan of COSRX Natural BHA Skin Returning A-Sol, which also contains betaine salicylate with some other AHAs and is propolis based. Bur that one was getting harder and harder to buy, so I decided to go for this version now and I love it just as much. It feels like nothing on the skin in a good way. It isn't drying, there is no irritation or stinging like with some other BHA products and it feels nice on the skin.

I can use it every evening and it won't dehydrate my skin or make it sensitive, but it definitely makes my skin's surface smooth and glowy looking. I even noticed blackheads on my nose suddenly didn't look as brown anymore. I didn't notice my pores being any smaller though, rather cleaner looking. I am one of those that notices huge difference in my skin, when I use BHAs. They keep my combination skin smooth and prevent clogged pores. 

I love COSRX because all of their products I have tried so far were effective as well as gentle, which is the best combination you can ask for. Their ingredients always support each other to create something that actually works, but doesn't strip down the skin and keeps it well moisturized and soothed and this BHA toner is exactly like that. I already know I will be repurchasing it, when I ran out of it.
