Review: Colourpop Pressed Powder Shadow - Hear Me Out, Wake Up Call, Made To Last, Paper Tiger, Let's Do It

I already have a few Colourpop Pressed Powder Shadows and I store them all in their magnetic large palette. I like Colourpop formula, because it's nicely pigmented and they have a good color selection. Plus the prices are affordable. When I was ordering some products from Colourpop, I added some of their shadows as well.

Packaging

I usually buy eyeshadows in a pan, because I store them in a magnetic palette anyway. This is a nice way of building up your own palette with the shades that you personally like.

In each eyeshadows is 1.5 grams of product and it costs 4$.

Formula

Formula of all of these is not dry, it feels just a bit wet. I think this is also the main reason why all of these have good pigmentation. Especially for mattes, which can be very sheer and patchy, but these aren't. They glide on the lids well and I don't have any problems with blending them out. The more you build them up, the more opaque and darker the shades look. In general pigmentation is better than most of eyeshadows that you can find in drugstore. I would say this is in the same range as Zoeva eyeshadows.

Colors

They have a wide selection of shades to choose from and you can really find something for everyone. A lot of neutrals as well as some crazy pops of color.

Hear Me Out - pale matte warm beige. It has peach undertone. This is my favorite kind of shade to set my eyeshadow primer with and give a nice base for any other eyeshadows to blend on top.
Wake Up Call - light matte warm brown. Also has peach undertone. A basic lighter brown that I use in the crease for some depth and a nice transition shade.
Made To Last - light matte cool mauve brown. Has mauve purple tone to it, but looks almost brown. I wanted something like this for a while to pair with any more purple or pink eyeshadows. This is perfect neutral for fall.
Paper Tiger - medium matte mustard. One of the most unique shade in my collection. I love warm toned eyeshadows and this one is amazing. It can be used in the crease to warm up any look or on its own for a warm haze.
Let's Do It - dark matte black. A basic black that should be in any palette. I like to use it as a eyeshadow liner or to set eye pencils and kohls.

Performance

I didn't have any problems with these eyeshadows. They all stayed on well and lasted the whole day. I don't notice intensity getting less vibrant either. They are mattes which means drier in formula and they don't tend to crease anyway.

I did some makeup looks with all of these eyeshadows to give you a better impression on how they look like on my lids.

Let's Do It

I am very satisfied with my shadow picks. I wanted something to add to my collection, so I chose single shadows that I thought were missing. You can chose among different shades and formulas. These are all matte and they perform well. I like that they are well pigmented, but you can still build them up or sheer them out. Formula lasts well on the lids and I like that I can build my own palette with these.
