Today's review is about another Avon product, which I wanted to buy for a while and I did now, when I saw that they will discontinue this product. It's a lipstick, which is more like a colored lip balm.


The lipstick it's called Shine Attract and the shade I chose is Caressing Coral. Lipstick has a shiny silver packaging and a clear top. In the inner circle of the lipstick is a color and around it it's transparent gel. The middle produces color and the outer part produces moisture to the lips.


The application can be tricky, because the color transfers only to the inner part of the lips, since it's only in the middle of the lipstick. It's better to apply it and then smudge it around with either fingers, brush or by moving the lips.


It find it to be more of a colored lip balm. It is however more pigmented then a lip balm. It's one of those things perfect for someone who doesn't like lipsticks or wants a subtle color. I also find it would be great for summer, when I don't bother with lipsticks. The gel gives a bit of shine and moisture. It's pretty moisturizing on the lips, but after a while the moisture disappears. If you apply another coat it's back again. Of course it's not long lasting and you need to reapply it often.

The shade is orange toned red and it has a fairly visible shimmer in it - which I am not a fan. But thankfully the shimmer isn't that invisible, since it is somewhat a pink shade. I like the smell, which is a very subtle sweet smell.


Lipstick contains 6.6 grams and it costs 8 € full price, but it's often on sale. I bought it for 5.60 €.

Conclusion: pretty color, like the gel because it gives moisture, but that disappears after a while. Pretty packaging and hard to apply. If you don't buy it, you won't miss out on anything.

You know my love for the Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution. Well, I needed to repurchase it and Lekarnar.com had an offer. I bought Micelle Solution 250 ml and got with it this eye cream. I also got a lot of Bioderma testers from their page and I had this eye cream in between those and I really loved it. So I decided to buy the bigger version.


This moisturizing gel is supposed to reduce puffiness, soothe, erase lines and moisturize. It doesn't contain parabens, phenoxyethanols and perfumes. It's for those with sensitive and intolerant skin.

The packaging is a tube, which has a little point in the end so you can really squeeze out the tinniest amount of product, which is really nice. It contains 15 ml of product and it costs around 13 €, depending on where you buy it. I got it with Bioderma Micelle Solution (250 ml) for 16.92 €.



I don't detect any smell at all. It's gel, which makes it very easy to apply. No pulling on the skin to try and spread it. I really like the texture. It soaks in the skin quickly, but it definitely leaves a moisturizing feeling on the skin. The skin does feel moisturized and it feels also a bit soothing. I especially like to put it on after cleaning my face and it does soothes the irritant skin around my eyes. I also have a feeling that moisturizing effect seems to last for a really long time. The gel doesn't irritate my eyes at all and I do have very sensitive eyes and skin in general. I can't talk about decrease of lines, because I would need to be using it for a long time to see the results in that department. I also don't have puffy eyes so can't rate this, either.


I really like it, because I believe that the most what an eye cream can do is moisture the sensitive skin around my eyes. I love it int he morning when I haven't had a lot of time to sleep, because it feels pretty soothing for me. I put it on at night and like the fact that when I wake up I feel like my skin around the eyes is still moisturized and soft enough. At the same time the gel is not like some eye creams, which just feel tightening and actually don't do anything else.

Conclusion: soothes, great for sensitive skin, love the gel texture, feels moisturizing.

When I saw this collection's presentation I knew I would like the blush. It's just my kind of color. I also bought the eye brow pencil out of pure curiosity. This LE has Russian shade names so I thought to google what Kalinka even meant. And it's a Russian song. Kalinka is supposed to be some kind of a plant. Now I get the packaging of those products :).


I bought Essence Kalinka blush in the shade 01 East Side Story and Essence Kalinka brow pencil or eyebrow styler in lighter shade 02 How to be Russian.

The blush has a nice paperboard packaging. It has a magnet which clicks together so the blush is pretty safe. The packaging has also really cute design. Birds and babushka if I'm not mistaken. It contains 7.5 grams of products and costs 3.59€.

The blush is a pretty orange peachy shade. I actually think it has somewhat of a pink tone to it. In the packaging looks more pink, but on the cheeks looks pretty peach. Such pretty flattering shade for everyone. It has a tiny shimmer, which is almost unseen when on cheeks.






The brow pencil hasn't impressed me. But that's just because of my personal taste. The pencil has two sides. One is brown to fill in the brows and on the other side is a transparent wax like transparent shade to fix the brows with. It costs 1.99€.


It's extremely pigmented and kind of too soft. It gives a lot of color payoff, which I don't like. The brows look extremely colored in. I can't lightly fill them in with this pencil. I don't like the full on brows. The shade is also a bit too dark for my taste. It's also pretty brown with somewhat reddish undertone, which would look good only on red heads.


The other side of the pencil is a transparent wax pencil, which is probably used for fixing the brows. For the color and brows to stay in place. I don't like it. All it does is intensify the color even more and sticks the brows together, which is not a flattering look in my opinion. I also don't find it to be long lasting with the help of this wax or that the brows won't move after a while.


To conclude, I really like the blush but not the brow pencil. Blush is a pretty peach shade that would suit a lot of people. It has a barely seen shimmer. The packaging is pretty and sturdy. The brow pencil is pretty dark, soft, has a lot of payoff and does not help to fix the brows or prolong the weariness.
