So you've probably seen the Japanese cherry trees in the blooming season. Since the spring has finally come, I decided to make me some spring blooming inspired nails :).


For this I used a neutral beige nail polish that has a latex finish (Essence - Rebel collection). To create blooming cherry trees I used red and white for the cherry blossoms and inside I used yellow. The branches are black.


This is probably the simplest nail design of mine. You can't go wrong with it, because the blossoms may even be messy and they'll look just fine.

Start by painting nails a light beige color. Add some lines to represent branches. I decided to have the blossoms only on my upper part of nail, but you can cover the entire nail if you wish so.

Then create a few blossoms with a doting tool. You can also make some dots to represent the fallen  petals.


On top of that create a few white blossoms, also with fallen petals.


Then just create a yellow dot in the middle of each blossom.



I hope you like my spring inspired nails and maybe even try it for yourself. They are really easy to do and I hope they'll bring some spring in your life.

I bought some studs to make me some fashionable studded shirts and other clothes. Since I has some leftovers, I decided to make some jewelry out of it.



I created a ring, studded earrings and some sparkly earrings.

What you'll need: some glue (it may be super glue or universal glue for different materials), studs, earring posts + roll backs, ring blanks, nail polishes (preferably the ones with the mat finish, because it dries faster) and glitter and some hard tool to bend studs down (butter knife, scissors and such).


All of this you can buy at any local craft store. Studs you can also find online (ličila.si).

Studded Earrings

This is very simple. Choose desirable pair of studs and bend everything that's sticking out of it down. It will help, if you bend them horizontal to the edge of the stud. That way you get a nice surface on which you can put glue and stick on earring post. Unfortunately, I learned that on my second attempt and don't have photo of it :). Glue on the roll backs and you're finished!



You can also paint earrings with nail polish.

Advice: Don't do too many layers of nail polish, because it won't dry any you'll have a foil over that stud, which will eventually start to change the surface and the nail polish may even fall down. Instead use any nail polish with mat finish or textured finish and just do one or two thin coats of it.

Glitter Earrings

To do these earrings do the same steps under the section - Earrings. Then get your glitter and put it in a pot. That will make it easier to put on the stud and cause less messiness around your room. I recommend using a universal glue (the one that says it is used for metal, wood, paper...). Put the glue on the stud in a thin coat. I also recommend doing this with a foam to make thinner and more even application. Then put the stud into the glitter and leave it for a while. Make sure to clean off any excess.



After a while you can put over another coat of glue. Of course the glue has to dry clear. This will prevent the glitter to fall off. Although some may still fall off.

Studded Ring

Make sure that your studs are the right dimensions to go around the ring blanks. That way you can twist their sticking-out-parts around ring blanks. This way you'll create a studded ring. Then choose any nail polish to color those studs. You can color it any way you like. Play around with glitter, colors, maybe even some rhinestones or anything like that. I just used some peach and lime green nail polishes, because they gave latex finish.


Those are just some of my ideas, but you can totally make them better and play around with different designs, colors and materials.

I recently ordered some fluffy microfibers on eBay. I just got them a few days ago, so I decided to try them. I am sure you have all seen this new trend with fluffy nails. I did only one nail with it, because I was skeptical as to how long this will last on the nail.



What you will need: base coat (optional), black nail polish, some sort of brush (I used fan brush for nails), fluffy black microfibers, doting tool or toothpick (optional) little rhinestones (optional), top coat (optional).

First use a base coat. I recommend doing this because dark polishes can really stain your nails.



Then paint all your nails black, except the one on the ring finger.



Now prepare your microfibers. I would recommend putting them on a low pot, that's not too big, so your nail can fit in perfectly and that you can have a pile of microfibers read for you. You also prepare some sort of a brush. And do all this on some paper or box that you can throw away, because fibers will spread everywhere. It can get messy!



Now paint the nail on the ring finger with black nail polish. Work fast. Then put the nail into a pile of microfibers. I recommend being really quick, or having a nail polish that doesn't dry fast, because then the fibers wouldn't want to stick on the nail polish.



You can also paint your nail black and then use a top coat and then dip it in microfibers, assuming you don't have any kind of fast drying top coat. If you can't dip all in at once, grab some pile with a spoon or fan brush and put some more on the nail. Then let it on for a few minutes, 3-5 min.

After that use a brush to wipe off any excess. You can also pat on the nail to make it stick more. You can stop here.

If you don't want to stop here, take some rhinestones and a top coat. Use a doting tool to make a small dot of top coat on the nail, and what's left on the doting tool use to pick up rhinestone and pot in on that dot of top coat on the nail. I made one line of rhinestones, to pick up my design and make it a bit shinier :).




I got this pack of different sizes and shapes of rhinestones at Tedi (store). They were really cheap, 8 different rhinestones for 1,75 €. I chose black and silver/clear, but you can also find them in other colors.




And that's it! Oh and don't forget to pot top coat on all the remaining nails that have been left black.



Lasting power :) : I have to say I have it on for a half day and I can see that some of the fibers have gone away. I don't know if it's because I was doing something with my nails and the polish underneath wasn't dried enough....the nail still looks ok, even if you wet it, it just doesn't look as perfect as at the beginning. And I don't recommend using it on all the nails, because you can get your foundation on the fibers when you do your makeup and such.... But it is a nice addition to any nail design. And it's really fluffy :).
