I got the shade called Chrome Blue, which is light blue metal shade on the nails. It actually seems to have silver undertone to it, because of the chrome finish. 

The formula of nail polish is pretty liquid and very pigmented. I think one coat could be enough, if it would be thick enough, but I always apply two coats. You can see how it looks like with one coat and with two coats. Because the finish is metal, it's nice if you make very straight strokes, because if you wiggle the brush in any other way, this will be noticeable on the nails.

Nail polish dries extremely quick, which I think is the same with most of the metal finish nail polishes. It seems to have been pretty long lasting even without the top coat. 

The finish is obviously as described, very shiny, looks like liquid metal and it gives of a foil like shine. If you love these kind of finishes, than I'm sure you'll love this collection. There are more shades available to chose from.

Prepričana sem, da vas je večina videla novo Models Own kolekcijo na drugih blogih. Vsaj jaz sem. Models Own je ustvaril krom kolekcijo lakov, ki dajejo unikaten finiš tekočih kovin. Najprej moram pojasniti, da sama absolutno nisem navdušenka takih finišev, ampak bom vseeno podala svojo objektivno oceno, saj vem da vse ni za vsakogar.

Models Own Colour Chrome kolekcija je formulirana tako, da daje unikaten videz tekoče kovine. Vsak lak ustvari zelo sijoč finiš folije.

Embalaža je steklena steklenička s plastičnim pokrovčkom. Celotna embalaža laka je pobarvana v barvo laka, kar je zelo priročno. V laku je 11 ml izdelka in cena je 5.95€ na Click2chic tukaj. 

Jaz imam odtenek Chrome Blue, ki na nohtih izgleda svetlo modro kovinski. Meni deluje kot da ima siv podton zaradi krom finiša.

Tekstura laka je precej tekoča in zelo pigmentirana. En sloj je dovolj, če je ta dovolj debel, ampak jaz vedno nanesem dva sloja. Na fotografiji se vidi kako izgleda z enim slojem in kako z dvema. Ker gre za kovinski finiš, je lepo če so potegi čopiča čim bolj ravni. Če ustvarimo na nohtu preveč vijugic, bodo te vidne na nohtu.

Lak se posuši ekstremno hitro, kar je značilno za večino lakov s kovinskim finišem. Zdel se mi je kar obstojen glede na to da nisem uporabila nadlaka.

Finiš je kot opisan. Zelo sijoč, uzgleda kot tekoča kovina in daje sijaj folije. Če obožujete tak finiš, potem je ta kolekcija zagotovo za vas. Na voljo je več različnih odtenkov.

The packaging of those nail polishes is pretty classic. Glass bottle with plastic top. The brush is also pretty standard. No weird edges and it's just enough thin or thick for that matter.

It costs 5.95€ on Click2Chic and you get 14 ml of it. For some unknown reason, I didn't find my shade among their range, but you can see all the other shades.

I got it in the shade Powder Blue, which is a really nice light baby blue shade. I actually don't like blue shades of nail polish, except for this kind of blue. It reminds me of one of Maybelline Mini Colorama nail polishes, which I adored, but they've been discontinued for a long time. It's basically the perfect spring shade.

The texture of this nail polish is pretty thick. It's nicely pigmented for a light shade. You will obviously need at least two coats to get even color. Down bellow you can see how it looks like with one thin layer and the second thicker layer on top. 

I find that the polish has a nice shine to it, but I always follow up with a top coat anyway. I will say it did not last as long on my nails as some of the other Models Own nail polishes. But I guess that also depends on the condition of my nails, which are horrible these days. 

If you like the shades of those Hyper Gel polishes and you want pigmented nail polish with a beautiful shine, than this is for you. I especially love this shade. The only thing, the texture could be a little less thicker for me, because the application is not super even. The product was sent to me by Click2chic.

Moj odtenek laka se imenuje Powder Blue. Je zelo svetlo modre barve. Sama nisem ljubiteljica modrih lakov, razen takih odtenkov. Ta odtenek me spominja na enega od Maybelline Mini Colorama lakov, ki ga obožujem, ampak ga na žalost več ni v prodaji. Je perfekten odtenek za pomlad.

Tekstura laka je precej gosta. Je dobro pigmentiran za tako svetel odtenek. Seveda boste potrebovali vsaj dva sloja za enakomerno prektivnost. Na fotografiji lahko vidite kako izgleda lak z enim tankim slojem in kako z dvema slojema (drugim debelejšim).

Po mojem mnenju ima lak čudovit sijaj, ampak jaz vedno nanesem prek še nadlak. Priznati moram, da na mojih nohtih ni zdržal tako dolgo, kot kakšni drugi Models Own laki. Seveda je obstojnost odvisna tudi od stanja nohtov in moji so zadnje čase grozni.

Če so vam všeč odtenki Hyper Gel lakov in si želite pigmentiran lak z čudovitim sijajem, potem so ti laki zagotovo za vas. Meni je predvsem všeč ta odtenek. Edina stvar, ki bi mi bila bolj všeč je, če bi bil lak rahlo bolj tekoč oziroma, ker je težko nanesti neakomerno plast laka. Izdelek mi je bil poslan v oceno od Click2Chic.

I decided to purchase some new stuff from Makeup Revolution. One of which is this Flawless eyeshadow palette. It has 32 eyeshadows. Some are matte, but most are shimmery. It's a pretty neutral palette with certain pops of colors, which are still very wearable. I've been trying a lot of the shades and I'll post a few makeup looks along with the full review of this palette. I guess I just wish it had a deep matte black and some more colorful variations. I think some colorful shades like blue and green are too dark. They would need complimentary lighter shade. The quality is pretty good.

I also got their Ultra Cover and Conceal palette in Light. I wanted something with multiple shade choices, since I do sometimes do makeup on others and my skin tone also varies among winter and summer. I've tried only a few shades. I find that they are pretty light in coverage, more than I was expecting. I think those would be good as a contouring and highlighting product, because they are pretty sheer. Not great for under the eye or around any fine lines, because they emphasize them. I need to test this more.

Finally! I've wanted to buy this blush for such a long time. It's NYX Powder Blush in Taupe. Supposedly it's a really nice contour shade for light skin tones. I think the shade is interesting and definitely not too dark for fair skin. I was surprised as it looks a bit red toned on me. For some reason I thought it would be cooler. I haven't tried this enough to tell you if I like it or not. 

I also got single eyeshadow from Catrice in the shade 400 My First Copperware Party. I admit, I got it because I saw on Pinterest that this shade is supposedly dupe for MAC's Satin Taupe, which I know is a very popular shade. I actually really like the quality of Catrice eyeshadows, but my God, why don't they just make a freedom system palette or something? I would totally buy an empty palette and fill it with their eyeshadows. I guess that is my problem with single eyeshadows, they are just so not practical for carrying around. That's why I mostly go for palettes. Anyway, pretty brown shade, which again looks a bit red toned on me. It's a very wearable shade.

That hair mascara is the only new Essence product that caught my attention. I like it because it has such a small brush. It's very practical for brushing through the brows, if you don't have naturally huge brows. It gives me more control. It's called Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara and I got it in the shade 01 Blondy Brows. It's almost taupe, grey based light brown shade, which is perfect for me, since I do have slightly greyish natural brows. Haven't tried it that much, but it does coat the brows nicely and makes them more seen.

I was so happy, when I found this lip gloss on Ebay. It's one of my all time favorite lip glosses as far as the shade goes. It's Maybelline Watershine Gloss in 715 Crystal Dune. Probably nothing fascinating for anyone, but I just love that truly beige brown shade of lip gloss with tiny shimmer. Makes the lips look really glossy and shiny. 

Another product that has positively surprised me is mascara from La Roche-Posay. It's called Respectissime Extension Lenght and Curl Mascara. I got it as a gift from a relative. My usually kind of mascaras are volumizing ones. So I didn't expect much from this one, but I really like it so far. It really separates my lashes and makes them look slim and longer. The thing that impressed me the most, was that it holds my curl for almost all day. I still need to build it up to get more visible and darker lashes, because it's obviously not volumizing, but they are pretty long and stay curled. So..I think this one will be a winner. 

Click2Chic sent me this new makeup sponged called Nanshy Marvel 4 in 1 Makeup Blending Sponge. I only felt it and it's really soft. Plus it's a really pretty mint color. I also like the fact that is straight cut on one of the angles. I think this will be useful for going into the corners. I haven't tried it yet.

They also sent me some new shades of Models Own nail polishes. One is Hyper Gel Gel Effect Polish in the shade Powder Blue. It's a really pretty pastel baby boy blue. The other it's Colour Chrome collection and it's in the shade Chrome Blue. I think this is a chrome or metallic blue silver shade. 

Another great product, which I've discovered is Kahne Rose Hip Seed Oil. It's pure rose hip seed oil and it has a natural smell. It's very oily and contains retionol (vitamin A) and is rich in vitamin C. It's a really versatile oil and promises a lot. What I like the most is that it makes my pimple spots disappear and makes my skin very soft and smooth. I really like this oil and I'm using it every single day before going to sleep. Who knew we had that kind of jewel hiding in out drugstore. I bought it in Tuš drogerija (for Slovenian readers).

Avon also sent me their new perfume called Cherish. I must admit, it's not my usual type of scent. I like strong and sweet fragrances. There's one ingredient that makes this one appealing to me and that is musk. It's one of my favorite perfume ingredients. This perfume contains Sandalwood, White Musk, Jasmin Sambac, Tiare Flower, Cherry Blossom and Pink Pepper. I actually smell cherry blossom and musk the most. It's a pretty fresh, yet very strong combination with the musk as a base. I would say musky floral fragrance. 

The last product, which I've been using a lot already is The Balm Mary Lou-Manizer. I always though that this highlighter looked somewhat pink on the photos, but is actually a very light champagne gold shade. Right up my alley! I really like it. It's the perfect shade for my skin tone and I like that it's more of an obvious highlighter. Have to admit, I thought the shimmer would be extremely subtle, but it's definitely very visible. 

Does something interest you in particular? 

Shade Roxy is gorgeous dark purple that has a blue shine to it. It reminds me a little of the galaxy. The formula is a dream to apply. The little shimmer in it is purple and blue and it's not difficult to take off, but it gives a really beautiful shine to the nails. The brush is standard, but does the job well. 

One coat is more transparent, so two coats are needed. The more coats you apply, the darker the shade. I like it even more, because it lasts for a pretty long time on my nails. Up to 4 days, which is a miracle for my nails. I'm kind of sorry, I didn't try their nail polishes before :).

As I mentioned before, the nail polish reminds me of the galaxy, so I topped two nails with the Essence Effect Topper in 21 Icy Fairy. Looks kind of galaxy like, right? :)

It's Models Own Diamond Luxe nail polish in the shade Heart Red. It says on their page that it contains real diamond dust, but let's not over exaggerate. It's one of those luxury looking nail polishes that will make your nails look festive and luxurious. 

It has gold top and gold typography, which I adore. You know me, I love gold. The glass bottle is pretty heavy. It contains 14 ml of product and it costs around 6€ in Slovenia, but I'm sure the prices are different in other countries.

The shade Heart Red is bright orange based red with gold shimmer in it. Gorgeous shade and it seems like it was made for me.

The consistency seems pretty thin, but very opaque. One coat is enough, but two give you darker color. The brush seems a bit wider than the usual nail polish brushes, but it splits really nicely, so that it covers most of the nail in two swipes. The shimmer in it is very subtle. It's gold, but since it's mixed in the red nail polish, it just peeks out like some shiny dots. The finish is very glossy and I was surprised how long lasting this nail polish was on me. I think it still looked good after three, four days - which is a miracle for my nails. I also didn't have any problems removing it. It doesn't go off as quickly as a regular colored nail polish, but it's definitely not as hard to remove as shimmer nail polishes. 

What can I say? It's my first ever Models Own nail polish. I love love the shade with the shimmer, love the gold packaging and love how the shade really suits my skin tone. It's a total winner in my book. Especially the shade, which is just amazing for the festive season. You can see in the photo down below, that I already made my first festive manicure with it and paired it with one gold finger. I wore it to the party with my work colleagues.
