Packaging

I like that these lippies come in a small compact plastic packaging. It's not too big, but still holds enough product. It's bullet shaped. 

Doe foot applicator has small petal shape with small hole on the bottom which stores just enough product so you can apply all over the lips with just one dip. The petal shape makes it very easy to get perfect edges of the lip without needing lip liner.

These are made in South Korea. In each is 5 ml of product and it costs around 12 to 14€, depending on where you get it. I'd say wait for some NYX brand discounts that a lot of online shops have to get the best deal. In Slovenia you can get them on Notino.

Formula

It's a very smooth formula that just glides on the lips. It feels like a lightweight gloss/lip balm. I guess serum is the right word to describe it. 

Finish is also quite glossy, it definitely gives you a really nice shine. Once the shine fades it leaves behind a stain which really lasts on the lips all day. You can apply it, wait a few minutes and blot the shine down to get immediate stain effect.

Colors

You can choose among 16 shades, anything from lighter nudes to pinks, reds and even some proper vampy shades. 

I first got 02 Hydra-Honey which is warm brownish nude that leaves light pinkish brown lip stain. It's very my-lips-but-better stain for light skin tones.

Then I also wanted something pinkier and I got 07 Bubblegum Burst which is neutral rosy pink that leaves proper rose pink stain that is much darker than Hydra-Honey. I also like to mix these two for a more pinkier nude version.

Performance

Because of the smooth formula this actually looks quite good even over dry patches. I've tried and it doesn't emphasize them as much as some other products. However, be aware that the stain will be more uneven on chapped lips. 

This actually feels surprisingly nourishing. It's really comfortable formula even for dry lips. The staying power is great. Shine actually holds on the lips fairly well and once it's gone you are left with a stain that can survive a lot, even some eating. 

I really like this super smooth glide formula with shine and comfortable wear that turns into the prettiest lip stains that look even. You can just apply them once in the day and you still have some color at the end on your lips. I also like the shade range, though some colors look quite similar. I would love to get more. 

If you have dry lips like me and want something that feels nice on the lips, but also leaves even stain, then these are definitely worth a try. However they can be hard to pick online, since they look a certain way in the packaging and then leave different stain behind than the color you applied initially.
