Green for spring

Hey Beauties!

One of my favorite colors aside from gold and peach is green. Partially because I find it goes nice with my orange hair. I browsed through my makeup looks and didn't find any green among them. So, I think it was obvious, that I wanted to include this soft green hue as my eye makeup. Plus spring is finally here!

I started as I start most of my eye makeup, with light matte brown shade in the crease. I deepened the crease in the outer corner with a bit darker matte brown shade. As a base on the eyelid I chose very light yellow toned green shade.

Then I went over it on the outer half with matte grass green shade. In the outer corner and in the crease I put moss green shade. I decided that I wanted to add one of my favorite brown based green shades along that moss shade in the outer part of the eye.

In the bottom I used matte brown shade in the outer third of the eye and then added yellow toned green all over the bottom lash line. I darkened it the same as before, with a grass green shade and added just a little bit of that mos green shade in the very outer corner.

In the inner corner I added shimmery light yellow gold. Lately I've been loving slim and elongated eyeliner look, so that's also what I did here.

I finished with lots of mascara.

I won't go too much into detail of my face makeup, because it's pretty much the same as always. Bronzer mixed with taupe blush on the outer edges of the face and highlighter on tops of cheeks, nose and cupids bow. I decided to pair the eye makeup with my favorite shimmery peach blush. As for the lips, I decided to try a few options.

Here I used a very nude pink toned lipstick, so all the focus is entirely on the eyes.

I also tried it with a contrasting color, light peachy brown lipstick.

But my favorite option is paired with this sort of 90s lip trend, matte brown lipstick.

This is very wearable version of green that would probably suit many. You know me, simple and wearable - well mostly. How about you? Do you like green as an eye shadow or think it doesn't suit you?
