Review: Antiperspirants / deodorants that work

Hey Beauties!

My last post was about sweating and natural deodorant. I realized by your comments that I am not alone in this battle :). So I decided to post another review of some of the deodorant or actually antiperspirants that I find to be good. Hopefully, I will help someone with my thoughts on these products.

I know that there have been many studies on whether antiperspirants or aluminum in them can be the cause of breast cancer. As far as I know, those studies haven't been proven or haven't found a certain fact to link those ingredients or products with breast cancer. Sometimes, I really don't know what to think of it, anymore. So, if you try to avoid aluminum, this post is probably not for you, because all of the products contain it. In fact all of the antiperspirants and most of the deodorants do.

This is my staple. It's Garnier Mineral Deodorant Action Control. It's supposed to be antiperspirant, but I find it to be more of a deodorant. It does keep your armpits fresh for a very long time. I don't think it will last after a hardcore workout, but it should make you feel fresh throughout the day. I also like it because it's gentle enough so I can use it right after shaving. It smells nice, I would say like those old school soaps :). I have also been liking it, because it didn't leave white marks on my clothes. I am a little on the fence with this claim. It has served me really well in this department, but lately I find white stains on my shirts. I think it's due to the fact that I always put deodorant on after I dress. If the skin would absorb it before, I am sure it wouldn't leave those white marks. Really strange though, because I haven't had any problems before. Maybe they've changed formulation, I really don't know. It doesn't contain alcohol, but it does contain Aluminum Chlorohydrate.

Price: around 3€. Contains 50 ml of product.

Next is a product that I tried once and found it to really work. It's Hidro Fugal Antiperspirant Forte (Strong). This product now uses my boyfriend and his armpits are dry throughout the whole day. That means something! Men sweat a lot more, so I am sure if some of you have a really huge problem with sweating I would have to say, that this does prevent the sweat and the smell. Completely dry armpits. I couldn't handle this product, because  I shave every day or at least every other day. And this product is so strong that it's really not suitable to use it on fresh razor wounds. So you see the tricky part... I don't know if it's tolerable by women, because we do tend to shave a lot. I don't use it, because my armpits were red, itchy and very dry. Just horrible. But as I said before, it does work! So if anyone is brave enough and really wants to try it, I do think it will work for you. For me it doesn't have any smell whatsoever and I don't know why there is perfume listed on the ingredients list. It contains Aluminum Chlorohydrate and Aluminum Chloride.

Price: around 3€. Contains 30 ml of product.

Hidro Fugal Antiperspirant is the original version, which is lighter then the Forte one. It has two different ingredients in it and I detect a very subtle smell. Nothing offensive and it disappears almost right after putting it on. I haven't used this one, so I can't really comment on it. My boyfriend uses it as an addition to the Forte one and it's basically a lighter version, which may not be super as drying and strong as the Forte one, but it does a good job preventing the sweat.

Price: around 5€. Contains 75 ml of product.

Which deodorants/antiperspirants work great for you?

Zdaj smo bek vrgli skoraj vse deodorante (saj jih ni bilo veliko) in kupujemo samo brez.
