Hey Beauties!

I sometimes get invited to blogger events, but don't attend, because well, I'd have to drive two hours in one direction to attend an hour or two long event. It's not cots worthy and it can be time consuming. When I got invite to SummerMBeauty (btw, love that word play they created), which was happening in Maribor (hallelujah!), I was excited and definitely wanted to attend.

Let me just say that I didn't expect anything as good as it turned out to be. Event was located at bar Luft, which is apparently a new hot spot in Maribor. I can see why, I'd say it's kind of fancy (I love to use that word a lot these days). It has an amazing view of Maribor, all glass walls and a nice ambient. We also had our group photo shooting on their terrace and it's just as spectacular as you'd think.

It was my first huge blogger event and I was trying to match faces with blogs. Looking back at it, I am kind of sad, I didn't talk to more bloggers. It was a fairly big group and we paired ourselves into mini groups since most of them already knew each other. It was definitely a new experience spending day with fellow beauty lovers and learning beauty related stuff.

Our organizers spoiled us with products all through the event and thanks to amazing sponsors we were in beauty mood all the time. We all got a few bits from Oriflame, Essence and Catrice in the beginning. A very cute personal touch came from Majuška and it was hand made summer themed necklace with our names and blog name. Such a nice memory from the event. On the sofas we're already some super cute Babushka notebooks and De Le Roi products. While we were admiring the view from terrace and making selfies, some brands were lining up their products for us to try out, chat with them and again get rotten spoiled with some free gifts. Beauty market was full of different types of brands, something for everyone. Some smelled amazing, others looked amazing and it was refreshing to get a first hand information from brand representatives.

We also got some very photogenic refreshments called Luftarca. I definitely recreated these at home. To switch things up and get us to be a bit involved and social, we also had a few contests going on. We had certain props and were asked to create unique and fun photos representing that brand. It was fun to create something at the spot and I actually won in one of the categories and got Brutus Clothing shirt. Yay! The idea came up, when I was trying to get a selfie with the beard prop and Sabina was photo bombing my photo. I think Neža said that this looked super funny and Tatjana joined the photo. Group effort success.

In the beginning we had makeup workshop with Sabrina from Many loves by Sabrina. She showed us how to contour and highlight, since this is still very popular technique. I was more interested in the products that she was using, because the technique I already saw before. At the end Nives from Kozmetični salon Beauty told us more about permanent makeup. I was actually surprised in what ways it can be used, but didn't find it attractive enough for me to ever try it, since I love to change my makeup really often.

All through the day we also had an official entertainer (as I would call him) and it was Tim Kores Kori. I'm sure Slovenian readers know him. He was actually a bit lost in all the makeup galore and it was kind of funny. I also think he was definitely trying to light up the room, when we were getting a bit tired and was great ice breaker in the beginning.

Last, but definitely not least, we have to talk about the organizers of the event: Sindiana from Sindiana Jones, Aleksandra from Aleksandra Rose, Ajda from Nyx's beauty blog and Nina from LunxxChi Beauty & Lifestyle. My hat goes off to you for organizing such a big event for a big group of bloggers. From my personal experiences, I know how hard it is to organizer any kind of event and what small details you have to cover and think of. Many wouldn't even organize it, because it would be too much work. So kudos for your organization and I definitely hope that I'll see you all again next year.

At the end organizers bombarded us with more goody bags and it was definitely a bit overwhelming. Let's just say that we have more than enough products for future reviews.

Hey Beauties!

On Saturday, Tatjana and I organized Pomurje Bloggers event. For all you non-Slovenian readers, Pomurje is a region in our country Slovenia. It's east northern part of our country. Since most of the PR events for Slovenian bloggers usually happen in our capital, we rarely all get together. This was the main reason, why we decided to organize this small event for us Pomurje bloggers to finally meet each other. 

In the beginning we had a workshop with Oriflame. We learned a lot about the right skin care routine and what products to use for your skin type. We also got our skin tester or rather measured to find out how moisturized and oily it is and if it has a lot of texture or not (dead skin cells). The next step was taking off face makeup. We were allowed to leave eye makeup on. I was taking photos and actually cheated a bit (did not clean off my face). I'm sure my fellow bloggers we're ecstatic about me jumping around and photographing them all the time. 

Next step was obviously putting on Oriflame skin care products. We learned that they have a lot of ranges suited for different skin concerns. After that it was my favorite time - makeup! We got Oriflame foundations, powders, blushes and bronzers to make ourselves ready for taking a lot of photos.  It was a rather interesting workshop. I must say all fellow bloggers had a really nice skin in general. Some of you don't even need makeup. But then, who's talking. I am the one piling on tons and tons even though my skin is usually not that bad.

The event was held in restaurant, which is actually inside the castle. We had our little private room. The little snacks were provided by Tatjana, Sabina and me. We tried to make it as photogenic as possible and hopefully we achieved it. I didn't have time to take photos of everything, because there was a lot going on and I wanted to chat with everyone.

With us on the event were also two representatives of young Slovenian company called Herbio. I actually already wrote about two of their products - Cream Kalei and AHA Fruit Peeling Mask. They are a company that merges traditional herbs with modern technology. They also told us a little about their products. About how they try to keep ingredients as natural as possible. They also changed their design, which was actually hand painted by some artist.

After our program finished, we finally had some time to talk, eat and have fun. I have to say the time went by so fast that I am really sorry I didn't have more time to spend with you all.

V soboto sva skupaj s Tatjano organizirali dogodek Pomurje Bloggers. Dogodek je bil namenjen blogerkam iz Pomurja, da se končno spoznamo v živo. Večina PR dogodkov za blogerje se dogaja v našem glavnem mestu, ker pa se vse ne udeležujemo vseh dogodkov, bi trajalo predolgo, da bi se vse srečale v živo. To je bil en glavnih razlogov, zakaj sva se s Tatjano odločili organizirati ta dogodek.

Na začetku smo imele delavnico z Oriflame. Naučile smo se veliko o negi kože in o tem kakšno rutino naj imamo glede na naš tip kože. Predstavnici Oriflama sta nam tudi izmerili kožo, da smo lahko videle kako vlažna in mastna je in koliko ima teksture (mrtvih delcev). Naslednji korak je bil odstranjevanje obraznega makeupa. Očesni makeup smo lahko obdržale. Jaz sem v tem času fotografirala, tako da si sama nisem odstranila makeupa (vem ja, švinglam). Prepričana sem, da so bile moje soblogerke naravnost navdušene nad mojim poskočnim fotografiranjem. 

Naslednji korak je bil nanašanje Oriflame negovalnih izdelkov. Naučile smo se, da ima Oriflame različne linije za različne kožne probleme. Po tem je bil moj najljubši čas - makeup! Dobile smo Oriflame podlage, pudre, rdečila za lica in bronzerje, da smo se lahko uredile za fotografiranje. Delavnica je bila vsekakor zanimiva. Moram povedati, da so vse moje soblogerke imele res lepo kožo. Nekatere res sploh ne rabite makeupa. Seveda, kdo se oglaša. Jaz prav tako nanašam tone ličil, pa jih večkrat res ne potrebujem. 

Dogodek je potekal v restavraciji, ki je znotraj gradu. Imele smo majhen privat prostor. Za prigrizke smo poskrbele Tatjana, Sabina in jaz. Želele smo ustvariti čim bolj fotogenično okolje in upam, da je uspelo. V bistvu nisem imela veliko časa za fotografiranje, ker se je res veliko dogajalo in želela sem se pogovarjati z vsemi.

Pripravite se na veliko količino fotografi iz dogodka. 

Na dogodku sta se nam pridružila tudi dva predstavnika mladega slovnskega podjetja Herbio. Sama sem že pisala o dveh njihovih izdelkih - Cream Kalei in AHA Fruit Peeling Mask. So podjetje, ki združuje tradicionalno zeliščarstvo in moderne tehnologije. Povedali so nam malo o njihovih izdelkih. Tudi o tem kako se trudijo zbirati čim bolj naravne sestavine za svoje izdelke. Pred kratkim so tudi prenovili embalažo svojih izdelkov. Ilustracije so ročno narisali umetniki.

Ko se je naš program končal smo končno imele čas, da se malo družimo. Moram povedati, da mi je čas minil veliko prehitro in mi je žal, da nisem imela več časa za pogovor z vsemi.
