Pretty Leopard Makeup

Hey Beauties!

I am known for subtle wearable makeup and even when I think of theatrical makeup like Halloween, I still do something that can be wearable without some element. If I’m being completely honest I don’t think I have enough experience to do anything super artistic, because I know I wouldn’t be happy with the results. I also love this area of creative makeup all over social platforms and there’s been one look that I really wanted to do for a while. As you may know, I love leopard print on anything. So, I decided to do a pretty version of leopard makeup. It’s again very wearable and for those that would like to fit in the Halloween party, but don’t want to wear loads of makeup and masks.

I have to apologize first, because I did my makeup before I started doing this look, so I just cleaned some of it off and started playing around. It was spur of the moment thing.  I started by applying light matte brown shade in the crease and also a bit at the sides of the nose, under my brows. Then I deepened it with darker matte brown. I used shimmery bronze brown all over the lid.

In the inner corner I used gold shimmery shade and spread it towards the center of the lid. I helped myself with scotch tape and drew my liner with dark matte shade. Then I went over it with black gel liner.

I used black matte shade to darken outer edge, crease and that part where my nose starts. On the lower lash line I already had copper brown shimmery shade. I used matte black shade to connect lower lash line with my winged liner.

After that you would do mascara and add some false lashes. They still look pretty natural, but give you more volume. You can use pretty dramatic ones, because this look can take it.

At the side of my face I added leopard print. I used black gel liner and drew on leopard spots. Then I used medium matte brown eyeshadow and lightly applied it in the center of those leopard spots.

As for the base I used high coverage foundation and concealer. Then I powdered it. I used shimmery warm bronzer and used it heavily around the outer edges of my face. I also contoured a little with contouring palette. I also contoured my nose, to get a bit of definition for my wild cat look. In place of highlighter and blush I used very shimmery yellow gold highlighter to bring together all those gold and brown shades, which I used in this look.

Oh I also did my brows the usual way and then used brow gel to try to brush them up, for a more wild effect. Unfortunately the effect is not as pretty as it would be with someone that has naturally bushy strong brows.  On my lips I used classic cool toned res lipstick. You can end makeup here and you have a pretty classic makeup with leopard spots.

But then I also added black nose and a line from that nose to my lips. I also made little spots where whiskers should be.  Just a basic touch so that drunk people on the party, will get that you are in fact representing leopard. If a cute guy mistakes you for a cat you should forgive him.  You know, seize the opportunity.

That’s it for my version of a pretty leopard makeup. It’s easy and very wearable. I think anyone can do this. You don’t have to be precise with spots and everything else is just a basic makeup look.

    1. Hvala :)) Sem parkrat že naredila leopard print nohte, pa mi je mogoče zato šlo hitreje :D Nisem merila, ampak mogoče kakšno uro pa pol. Vse skupaj. Ah blogerski problemi :D.
