Hada Labo Tokyo Gentle Hydrating Cleanser All-In-One
I've had this cleanser before and I rebought it. It's a thick creamy texture that you need pea size amount of, because it lathers really well and cleans the skin thoroughly. For dry skin this might be drying, even though it has some hyaluronic acid in it, because it does a good job of removing any last traces of makeup. But I find it to be just strong enough and gentle, but great at removing sebum in the morning as well. Because you need so little of it, I justify the price, because it lasts me for a really long time.
Hada Labo Tokyo Lotion No.1 Super Hydrator
So apparently this is their most popular lotion. This is liquid more like an essence, but has that hyaluronic slip to it which comes from slight viscose texture. It's super light, yet still giving you needed hydration and moisture. I've had Lift version before, from the purple line, and that one felt much more nourishing and thicker in a way. Not saying this one is bad, but that one was just more luxurious great for mature or more dehydrated dry skin. This one seem like it would suit all skin types. I like it and I think it will be just enough for summer. Right now I layer it and it does a good job of keeping my skin moisturized.
No Cosmetics Liquid Refiner
I've had No Cosmetics hydrator and the one with prebiotics and I loved them both. This one is formulated with 2% BHA (salicylic acid) and 1% succinic acid (not exfoliator, apparently it's a soothing and hydrating acid similar to azelaic acid) as well as some EGCG (antioxidant) and resveratrol (natural retinol like alternative). This is toner like liquid that is gentle, yet effective at keeping my skin's texture smooth and preventing any further blemishes. It's gently exfoliating, but doesn't irritate my skin at all. And I can use it every night without being too harsh. No Cosmetics has really nice simple, yet effective products that are also gentle enough for my skin.
Catrice The Coral Nude Eyeshadow Palette - 010 Peach Passion
I believe this has been discontinued, but Catrice always has similar eyeshadow palettes in their range. I've been reaching for it this past month, because it is so easy to use and has all the shades I could want. A bit of warmer or cooler mattes for the crease and a few champagnes and shimmer browns for the lid or inner corners. These are super soft and I usually just apply them with finger when I want a very quick and simple eye look.
Catrice Diamond Haze Highlighter
This is a spin of Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb, or a dupe, whatever you want to call it. It's the newest products from Catrice's new range. This has that creamy putty texture as the original and turns powdery once you apply it on the skin. The base is translucent so you get a lot of tiny shimmery glitter particles on the skin. They are mostly just silver colored. For me personally this is the best glittery eyeshadow topper. Or I just use it on its own all over the lids with some matte contour shade in the crease. It will give you that wet look effect. It's not the most long lasting, s wear a primer underneath, if you have oily lids, since this is more creamy straight from the pot. I personally wouldn't wear this as a highlighter, because it's too glittery, but it might be fun for an evening occasion.
e.l.f. Camo Liquid Blush - Berry Well
I now own four shades of these e.l.f. Camo Liquid Blushes, because I just love how pigmented this formula is. It's a liquid formula that is very easy to blend and spread. This particular color is one of the darker ones, I'd say medium berry pink shade. As you blend it out, it gives you quite pigmented berry pink shade to the cheeks which to me looks so winter appropriate. For medium skin tones this would be a lovely pink. I have to use it very lightly.
Catrice Butter Drippin' Glossy Lip Balm - 040 Bisou Bisou
Seems like everywhere you look these days, there's a peptide lip gloss. So Catrice made their version as well. It contains peptides, mango and shea butter. It gives you lip gloss vibes, but feels so comforting and soothing like a really good lip mask. There is a hint of color to it that gives the lips mauve brownish tint and some really nice sheen. This is the type of product you could reapply throughout the day, because it just makes the lips feels so damn nice. I just realized they say it's caramel flavored, though I don't get that at all. In fact, if I taste it, it's not pleasant. I would say they could do way better at taste or smell. However, it's not disturbing, just nothing to rave about.
Catrice Gel Affair Nail Lacquer - 004 Rosy Bowtastic
Catrice also has a whole new line of nail polishes. They've ditched the cap on the old ones, which I didn't like anyway. I believe they have 28 new shades. I am not sure if the formula is new, but I've been wearing this one for about 4 days without chipping paired with their Ultra Stay Gel Top Coat. It might just be a coincidence, but maybe the new formula agrees with my nails. It's the most stunning pastel pink, my favorite kind of shade. I love their rounded brush because it makes for such an easy and quick application. I got fully opaque look with two coats which is great as well. I've since bought another dark army green shade, but haven't tried it yet.
