I have this bronzer for over a year already. They've even changed the packaging since, but I had to post about it on the blog, because it's one of those rare bronzers that is very affordable and has that lovely grey tone to it. It's as the name suggests a bronzer and contour all in one. And I love that you can use one product to do the job of two.

Bronzers and highlighters are probably one of those makeup products I can never have enough of. It's the two products I almost always use whenever I do makeup on myself. Bronzer gives my face dimension and color that makes me look alive. You'll know what I'm talking about, if you're on the pale spectrum as well. I have heard only great things of Maybelline City Bronzer and I finally decided to get a shade to see how it goes.

I can't seem to get my beloved Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer in Slovenia anymore and because I had bad experience with iHerb delivery, I opted to find a cheap solution in drugstore. I saw Essence LE called Sun, Sand & Golden Rainbows Matt Bronzing Powder and decided to try it out. It's actually pretty descent and there is so much product in it, that I can easily use it on the body as well.

I have talked about Ecotools brushes on my blog already. They are one of those drugstore priced brushes that have nice quality bristles and durable bamboo handles. I have a few of my favorites from them, so I ordered some more shapes to try out. 

The Body Shop has made quite a stir when they've finally opened online shop in Slovenia. I'll admit that I never really bought their products before. I got a few minis as a gift and was once in the actual store in France, but found it overwhelming to choose something. But I've been hearing about the brand on other beauty blogs all the time, so some products made it to my wishlist and now I finally had the chance to try them out.

It has been really hot month in Slovenia and I've been looking for products that are easier to use, since I don't always feel like I want a ton of makeup products on my face. What's the point, it's all going to melt down sooner or later. So if you're someone that likes product that can do a few things in one, you'll definitely want to read a review of these Avon Glow Bronzing Pearls in Radiant Glow. 

Bronzing pearls come in a brown plastic pot with gold writing. You actually get a sponge on top of the pearls, so that they don't crush into each other and damage. It's also good to keep it for travelling. 

In it is 22 grams of product and the regular price is 13.70€. Don't be alarmed, they often have these 50% off and more, so just wait for a good offer. 

Pearls in the shade Radiant Glow have three different colors. Pink, light peach and mauve bronze. They all have small silver shimmer in it which gives it a nice sheen to the skin, but doesn't actually look too shimmery.

Pearls have a sweet flowery scent to them and it's a lovely surprise whenever you open them up.

Avon Glow Bronzing Pearls in Pink Bronze is a very light peachy shade with silver shimmer. It's much more shimmery than Radiant Glow. Radiant Glow looks like a perfect combination of a peachy toned bronze shade and a pink. The shimmer in it is more subtle and has a silver pinkish sheen to it. I compared it next to MAC Sheertone Blush in Pinch Me which is a more redish peach shade with no shimmer. H&M Pure Radiance Blusher in Rosy Brown is a dirty brownish pink shade with pink cool sheen. theBalm Hot Mama! is a lot more radiant pink shade with golden sheen to it. I also swatched Wet N Wild Coloricon blush in Apri-Cot In The Middle which is a lighter peachy shade with golden sheen. The base of it looks very similar to Radiant Glow, but it lacks that bit of pinkiness and bronze to it to be the same. If Wet n Wild and MAC Pinch Me had a baby, it would be Radiant Glow with a warm sheen.

The pigmentation is really nice. I usually apply them with a fluffy brush, because you can pick up quite a lot of color with just one swipe.

Formula is not too wet nor too dry to the touch. It applies evenly and gives you a pinkish bronze look with a nice sheen. If you apply it lightly, it gives you a pink toned bronze shade that is suitable for fair skin tones as well as light to medium. If you apply it heavily, it can look a lot pinkier, almost like a blush.

So I apply a light layer where I would usually apply bronzer and then I apply it heavier on the apples of the cheeks to make it more pink. I can almost skip the highlighter with this, because it has such a nice natural sheen. The pinkish tint to it gives it a natural sun burn look. Most people usually have a tint of pink to their skin, if they've been on a sun for too long.

On the photos below you can see my face just with foundation and powder on the right and then with the bronzing pearls on the left. As you can see the bronzing pearls really lift up my complexion and give it more dimension.

It actually looked a lot stronger in person, but my camera just refuses to pick up blush shades.

I also find that the shade lasts on my skin for the whole day. It might fade a bit, as with all products, but it's definitely still there in the evening. 

I also have bronzing pearls in the shade Pink Bronze, which I use more as a highlighter when I'm tanned or as a shimmery blush. These have a light peach shade to them with cool silver shimmer through it.

Kroglice v odtenku Radiant Glow so treh različnih barv. Roza, svetlo marelične in vijolično bronz. Vse imajo majhne srebrne bleščice, ki koži dajo čudovit sijaj, vendar ne izgledajo preveč svetlikajoče. 

Kroglice imajo sladkasto cvetličen vonj, ki je čudovito presenečenje vsakič, ko odprete embalažo.

Avon Glow bronaste kroglice za obraz so svetlo breskvastega odtenka s srebnimi bleščicami. So veliko bolj bleščičaste in sijoče kot Radiant Glow. Radiant Glow izgleda kot odlična kombinacija breskvastega bronz odtenka z dodatkom roza. Bleščice so bolj nežne in imajo srebrn sijaj. Primerjala sem jih z MAC Sheertone rdečilom za lica v odtenku Pinch Me, ki je bolj rdečkasto breskvast odtenek brez bleščic. H&M Pure Radiance rdečilo v odtenku Rosy Brown je umazano rjav roza odtenek z hladnim roza sijajem. theBalm Hot Mama! rdečilo je bolj živahnega roza odtenka z zlatim sijajem. Primerjala sem tudi Wet n Wild Coloricon rdečilo v odtenku Apri-Cot In The Middle, ki je svetlo breskvast odtenek z zlatim sijaje. Osnova tega izgleda precej podobna Radint Glow kroglicam, čeprav ni tako roza in bronz. Če bi Wet n Wild in MAC Pinch Me združili, bi dobili najbolj podoben odtenek Radiant Glow kroglicam z zlatim sijajem. 

So dobro pigmentirane. Sama jih nanašam z mehkim čopičem, ker lahko z bolj gostim hitro pretirate z nanosom barve. Že z enim potegom dobite dobro pigmentirano barvo.

Formula ni preveč suha, niti preveč mokra. Nanaša se enakomerno in da koži roza bronz izgled z lepim sijajem. Če ga nanesete zelo lahko, boste dobili naraven zagorel ten z dodatkom roza odtenka, ki je primeren za zelo svetlo polt kot tudi srednjo. Roza obarvanost kroglic koži da tisti naraven izgleda zagorelosti. Večina ljudi dobi roza odtenek koža, če se rahlo opeče na soncu. 

Na fotografijah lahko vidite moj obraz samo z podlago, korektorjem in pudrom v prahu na levi strani in potem z dodatkom kroglic na desni. Kroglice dodajo moji koži malo barve in dimenzije. 

Odtenek se obdrži na obrazu ves dan. Mogoče malo zbledi kot vsi izdelki, ampak še vedno je na obrazu tudi ob koncu dneva. 

Imam tudi kroglice za obraz v odtenku Pink Bronze, ki jih uporabljam bolj kot osvetljevalec, ko sem malo zagorela ali pa kot sijoče rdečilo za lica. Te imajo svetlo breskvast odtenek z hladnimi srebrnimi bleščicami.

Všeč mi je enostavnost uporabe kroglic. Zame je to tri v enem izdelek. Bronzasto roza odtenek lahko da obrazu malo definicije (če ga uporabimo kot kontur), toplino (kot bronzer) in roza odtenek na ličkah (ki izgleda kot, da ste preživeli popoldne na soncu in če jih nanesete malo bolj na lička, bo izgledalo rot roza rdečilo na ličkah). Pigmentacija je dobra, nimajo preveč bleščic, nanašajo se lepo, se dobro obdržijo na koži in imajo zanimiv vonj.

Bronzer is my must have makeup product and I use it almost all year around, but definitely in the spring, summer and fall. It's an essential for someone with light skin tone, because you can add warmth to your face and bring out the contours so you don't look too flat. I feel like bronzers do for fair skin what highlighters do for medium skin. It just gives it life. 

Here is the ingredients list. Physicians Formula states that the bronzer is infused with murumuru butter. They say that this bronzer is a mix of cream and powder formula. It should melt into the skin, give you lasting hydration and give you lit-from-within glow. It has ultra refined-pearl and soft-focus pigments that should smooth skin's texture, brighten skin tone and give a gorgeous bronze finish.

For my personal taste, I like to apply it a bit heavier, because I love the warmth that it gives me. The shimmer in it gives it such a healthy looking sheen and doesn't look greasy at all. It also stays on the face through the whole day. I find that it fades very little.  

As much as I love buying highlighters, I forget to invest in bronzers. And I use bronzers just as much as highlighters. Every single day. When I saw this new range of bronzers, highlighter and blusher by Misslyn, it looked so promising and pretty. The packaging immediately reminded me of the vintage vibe by theBalm. It helped that the bronzers were on sale, so I gave it a go.

It comes in a cardboard packaging with magnetic closing. The girl on the packaging is tanned and depending on which shade you get, that's how tanned she looks. The whole design is vintage and tropical. It definitely gives me that same vintage vibe that theBalm has. Coincidence?! 

In it is 6 grams of product and it costs 5.59€. 

I chose the lightest shade called 51 Holiday Hooray! It looked the lightest and also the only shade that had just a hint of gray in it. It's more noticeable in the packaging than it is on my skin. 

The shade is warm toned, but it has a hint of grayness to it, which is not as visible on the skin as it is in the packaging. If you're cool toned, this would be too warm for you. On my skin it works great. It's appropriate for light skin tone. If you're very fair, it might end up looking too dark on you. The shade also has a bit of sheen. There's no actual visible shimmer in it, it just doesn't look powdery flat matte. I like that bit of sheen, because it looks more natural.

Pigmentation is amazing and I always use fluffy brush with it to prevent too much color payoff. If you apply it lightly, it looks lighter. You can definitely build it up to a darker color. 

Formula is not too dry, but also not buttery wet. It applies smooth, but you do need to be careful not to make it appear patchy on the skin. If you start with fluffy brush and slowly build it up, it's better than if you go in with a lot of color at once. I find that this way it can look a bit patchy as it grabs onto the base. 

Bronzers are usually the first to fade from my skin, but this one has a good staying power. It definitely fades through the day, but it's still noticeable and looks even in the evening. 

I wanted to show you my skin with foundation, concealer and powder (left) and then I also added bronzer (right). Bronzer instantly makes my skin warmer and it gives it more color. The shade turns out pretty warm on my light warm skin tone and it actually looks nice.

For the price, this is a very descent bronzer. I like the color, because it suits my warm skin tone. It has natural sheen that doesn't make it look too muddy. It's definitely not a contour powder, but you can use bronzer to do a light contour, although the shade is definitely a bronzer shade. I find that you have to be careful with the application, especially to use a fluffy brush, because matte powders can quickly look patchy. It blends out well and it has a good staying power. I'm actually even more in love with Physicians Bronzer now, but that one has even more sheen. Misslyn might be better for summer, as shimmery powders can make me look too oily. Based on the selection of bronzers in out drugstores, this is definitely a good choice, if the color suits your skin tone. 

Kiko is one of those brands that tends to do a lot of good products at a more affordable prices. I feel like they are trying to copy quality of high end brands, but still make the prices affordable. When I saw their Radiant Fusion Baked Powders on the internet and heard some say that they look similar to Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders, I was intrigued. It definitely looked similar. Because I liked powder so much, I also bought bronzer. To be honest, I have very little powders and bronzer, so I easily justified the purchase.

Packaging is very elegant and can easily match up to high end brands. It has a silver plastic packaging that has a mirrored look. It has magnetic closing which is so satisfying. I don't know if it's just me, but magnetic closing screams luxury to me. I admit I've been playing with it, opening and closing it. Don't judge!

In it is 10 grams of product and it costs 12.90€. You can choose among 6 different shades.

I compared Kiko powder to Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder in 001 Transparent. They are both very light, but Rimmel is slightly lighter and more white based. Kiko's has a bit of yellow undertone. It's not too visible on the face, but it does look strong on my heavy swatch. It's just slightly warm toned.

Kiko bronzer I compared to my second favorite - Essence LE Light of Orient Bronzer in 01 Sunkissed Beauty. Essence's has visible satin sheen to it, while Kiko's doesn't seem to be as shiny, but it's also not completely matte. Essence's is also slightly more red toned and even a bit more greyish, while Kiko's is definitely yellow warm toned and more on the orange side. But if you apply it lightly, it's not too warm. theBalm Betty-Lou Manizer is the darkest of these all and obviously the most shimmery and shiny. It's also really warm toned and very much orange like.
