COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser

It's a low pH cleanser for sensitive skin. It has BHA that exfoliates skin. It also contains tea tree oil to control oil and tighten pores. It's a gel that creates a very small light foam. The smell is very strong of tea tree oil. I've gotten used to it by now. In the colder days I felt like this might have been too drying for me to use in the morning and evening, but now that it's quite hot outside, I love it. It's gentle, removes any leftover makeup (I use it as a second cleanse) and you do feel the skin being a bit tighter and just refreshed. It's definitely my new favorite morning cleanser as well as second cleanse in the evening. 

COSRX Natural BHA Skin Returning A-Sol

This is toner for various skin problems. It contains BHA and AHAs, propolis, tea tree oil and some other really lovely natural ingredients. It's suppose to get rid of dead skin cells, control sebum, add moisture and calm the skin. This is definitely my new favorite acid toner. It's transparent liquid and it has the same strong tea tree oil scent as the morning cleanser. I really like it, because I feel like it helps to keep my skin clearer and smoother. I've had less pimples and clogged pores since I've been using it. I still have clogged pores and bumps, but I just feel like this toner helps to diminish them in a few days and really clears out my pores. It's also very calming and kind of hydrating too.

Balea Cleansing Oil

I've heard from Mateja that apparently Balea is discontinuing it (I'm not sure if only in Slovenia or everywhere). It's the stupidest decision ever, since this is ah-mazing! I'm sure they'll just repackage it and sell it at a higher price (it often happens with other brands). This is very greasy, thicker oil that gets rid of makeup like nobody's business. It's better than L'Occitane 5% Shea Cleansing Oil. I like it better, because it's thicker (yes that means you need more of it, but it's so cheap that it doesn't matter), it breaks down the stubbornest makeup a lot quicker and it doesn't irritate my eyes (because it has no fragrance). It costs less than 3€ for 100 ml. I've already bought 3 more and you should go and buy one right away, if you like cleansing oils. 

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream in 21

I think I've been wearing this for the whole month of May (maybe I used something different once or twice in this month). It's such a good BB cream. I'd say coverage is light to medium and it's definitely buildable. Shade 21 looks a bit greyish, but it adapts to my skin tone really well. It gives a luminous finish without being too dewy, although I need to powder it anyway (especially now in hotter days). Looks fairly natural and wears of nicely. I love the lighter shade, because it really matches me almost perfectly. I will for sure be buying another tube as soon as I finish this one.

MAC Studio Finish Concealer NC15

I've decided that I have to use up MAC concealers, because otherwise they'll become too old. I've been watching PONY Makeup on YouTube and saw her use creamy thicker concealers on top of other liquid concealers under the eyes to really brighten up any darker areas. It works for me too. I've been using it on top of Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer, but only on those small areas where darkness still shows through. It makes my under eye area look really flawless and bright. I love it, because it's thicker and it provides nice coverage. 

Avon Concealer Brush

Since I got Avon Angled Face Brush, I was determined to try some other ones as well. I like how the hair is really soft and I needed something flat to apply concealer on smaller areas like I described it with MAC's concealer on top of Catrice's before. This brush also has very soft synthetic hair. I like that it's straight cut and fairly small. It is a bit thicker for my liking, but I really like it for applying concealer only on selected areas.

Essence LE The Beach House Beach Glow Fluid

I was fortunate enough to get some products from Essence's new Limited Edition called The Beach House and I already tried them out (review will be up soon). This Limited Edition will be in stores from June. Beach Glow Fluid is definitely my favorite product from this collection. It's a very orange toned bronzer shade with a bit of sheen and small shimmer in it. The shimmer could be smaller, but I like the almost metallic look that cream gives it. It's basically like a bronze tint in a bottle and you can apply it all over your body and face. I like to use it as a bronzer or mix it with moisturizer for a beachy glow on the body. It gives you a nice bronzy glow and I can't wait to use this on my body, when I get a bit of tan.

Zoeva Mixed Metals Eyeshadow Palette

Since Zoeva is constantly raising their prices, I decided to get one more palette before it costs me 40€. I've got their Cocoa Blend palette and it's the perfect palette for my liking. But I wanted to add some colors and Mixed Metals has a mix of colors that I would use (they're not all me, but most of them are). It's inspired by metals. I adore upper row of purple taupe, yellow green, olive green, bronze brown and copper red shades. I haven't played much with the bottom row, but I'm sure I'll get a good use out of this palette. I like to mix it with Cocoa Blend shades. 

Be Creative Make Up Eyeshadow 024 Bewitched

I actually already reviewed it here. This is perfect light peach shade for the inner corners or as a pop on top of other lid shades. It can be build up to a supper metallic finish and I just adore this shade. It can be used in so many ways. I'm sure I'll also use it as a highlighter when I get a bit of tan. 

Freedom Makeup Eyebrow Pomade Caramel Brown

My hair color recently got a bit lighter and also a bit warmer (see here) and I like to match my brow color to my hair color. When I am darker, I go for cooler taupe tones and when I have warmer hair, I like to have warmer brown products. Caramel Brown is the perfect shade for me now. It's a warmer (yellow toned) medium brown. The cream is very thin and almost a bit too creamy, so you have to be careful how you apply it or you can go over the brow lines. Once this sets, it has a really nice staying power. I also like that I can really fill in any sparse areas, whereas sometimes pencil just doesn't stick to that part of the skin. 

Avon Khol Eye Liner in Ocean Blue

This is my favorite shade of blue for an eyeliner. It's not too bright, not too cool and also not too dark. It's just my kind of blue and I've been wearing it as an eye liner this month. It's such a nice colorful alternative for warmer months. Formula of these khols is a mix of soft and hard and I like the rubber on other side, which makes it easy to pull it out in a wing like motion. I have a review here. 

E.l.f. High Definition Powder Sheer

I've had this for so long and I didn't even write a review for it yet. Recently I fell back in love with it. It's a very fine transparent or white loose powder. I didn't think much of it in the beginning, but since I started using it again, I've grown to really love it. It's super fine and it creates such a matte and smooth surface. The smoothness gets me every time. I especially like to set concealer under my eyes, since this almost creates a silicon like smooth matte finish. It might look a bit too matte for me at the beginning, but my natural oils always come through and it looks much better. I also really like it for taking photos, since I feel like it almost diffuses the skin. I already repurchase another one. 

Avon Makeup Setting Spray

It's been really hot these past days in Slovenia and my makeup is always dewy, weather I want it or not. I have more of a combination type of skin and my T-zone can get really oily in summer. This setting spray is a life saver. It definitely prolongs the wear of my makeup. I also really like it, because it takes off any cakiness that I might create with too much powder. It instantly gives you worn like look (without being powdery or dewy) and it helps makeup not to move. I sometimes spray it in the middle of the day just to take off any excess cakiness and to make the face look fresh again. I have a review here. 

Belweder Stick Lip Balm with Melissa, Green Tea and Propolis

I'll also post a review of Belweder products soon and this one has been my favorite this month. They have those EOS inspired ones as well as those in stick form. Green tea is my favorite scent and I really like stick formula, because I find it thicker. It's not sticky like Burt's Bees lip balms nor light as Labello lip balms. Something in between. It's a great lip balm to use after lip stick is becoming dry or just through the day when you might feel some discomfort. Plus the brand uses natural ingredients. 

Avon Gel Shine Nail Enamel in Rain Washed and Mauvelous

I already reviewed the whole Avon Gel Shine collection here. Obviously, I've been painting my nails with those nail polishes this month. I like a lot of shades, but Rain Washed and Mauvelous are the winners for this month. Rain Washed is such a nice really light pastel blue that is a nice twist on a usual white nail polish. Mauvelous is the most unique shade in this collection and it's really wearable dirty mauve shade. It might seem a bit more fall shade, but I love to wear it in the spring. It's a pop of color, but not too obvious. 

L'Eau Par Kenzo Eau Indigo Pour Femme

I've had this perfume for so long that I had to use it up this month. It's a shame, because I really like this scent. It's the most gorgeous powdery sophisticated scent that is not too strong. It's definitely a sweet scent, but nothing like a cheap sweet smell. Whenever I wore this I felt expensive in a subtle way.

Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer

The first product that will help you with your base is this Revlon's primer. I'm on my second bottle, which means I really like this, because I use it only on special occasions. It's a silicon based primer which you put on before foundation. Because it's silicon based, it means that it will make your base very smooth. It fills in all the pores, therefore creating a perfect base for your makeup. It's also a bit sticky and the foundation sticks to it better. This will make your foundation look flawless and stay on for a longer period of time without the shine breaking through. If you are very oily, obviously this won't last on you as well as on someone with normal skin.

In it is 27 ml of product and I think the price is around 15€. The pump is very hygienic and if you don't use it every day, it will last you for a really long time. Review here. 

Avon Ideal Flawless Eyeshadow Primer

This is an eye shadow primer that I swear by. I must be on seventh pot or so. It's my favorite eyeshadow primer. Using an eyeshadow primer can make a huge difference. First of all it will even out your skin tone on the lid. It will help eyeshadows to stick to it, which means it will definitely prolong the wear of them. It also makes eyeshadows more vivid and it really brings out their pigments making your eye makeup look really pigmented. I find that this one makes especially any Avon True Color Quad eyeshadows a lot brighter and more pigmented looking. 

It only comes in one shade, which is Light Beige. The shade is actually very much like my skin tone. It's creamy and very slippery, so it applies with ease, but still evens out the tone. 

In the pot is 3 grams of product. The regular price is 6€, but you can often get it for 3.50€. 

Here is the proof with the actual eyeshadows. First two eyeshadow from the left are from Avon and the rest are some random ones. As you can see the top half of my hand doesn't have anything on. On the bottom half I applied this primer. I think it's pretty clear where the primer starts. 

E.l.f. Makeup Lock And Seal 

It's one of the most versatile products. This is clear liquid which seals in everything... eyeshadows, lipstick, glitters, liner.. You can use it over any makeup. You need to pour it into a plastic pot that comes with it and wet the brush with it. Then you take the makeup product and apply it. I guarantee you this will seal in the deal for the whole night. I especially like to use it with glitter, which tends to fall off everywhere, over eyeshadows and cream liners, which can sometimes transfer on the upper lid. I haven't tried it over lipstick, although I feel it would do the same thing. 

You get 15 ml of it and it costs only 3$. I have a review of it here. 

Avon Makeup Setting Spray

To seal the deal you need setting spray as the last step in your makeup routine. It seals in all the makeup that you've put on your face and prolongs the wear of it. I feel like this one from Avon also does a good job of getting rid of too much powder. It helps the skin to look more natural and gets rid of the excess powder look. I will say that I don't think the difference is major, but it does help my foundation to stay matte for a longer time and it doesn't slide as much. I like the fact that it's an easy to use spray with a transparent liquid. It doesn't smell like anything and it doesn't feel tightening on the skin. It just leaves a veil of liquid on the skin, which feels like a protective layer. 

In it is 125 ml of the product and the regular price is 11€, although now you can get it for only 4.90€. 

These are the products that I reach for when I want my makeup to last for a really long time. I know it's sometimes hard to find setting sprays and primers in our little country, for a reasonable price that is, but I think I gave you some good recommendations for when you'll need something like this. Those products are definitely not necessary, but they do make a difference. 

It's E.l.f. Makeup Lock & Seal. This is one of those sealing liquids that should seal in your makeup. I heard about this and how good it is, but wasn't really convinced, until I finally googled how to use it and tried it. 

In the set you get the liquid, small standard eyeshadow brush and one clear pot. It costs 3$ and you get 15 ml of it. 

The liquid is in a plastic black packaging. It's small and compact. 

The brush is also black with synthetic black bristles. For my taste this is too hard to use on the lids. I usually just use my usual eyeshadow brushes with it. 

The clear pot is very small, but big enough to fit in eyeshadow brushes. 

The texture is very liquid, almost like water. The opening is perfect to get out one small drop. One drop is all you need for one eyeshadow application. 

I put one drop in the pot and use my eyeshadow brush and swirl it in the pot. I try to coat the brush as even as possible. The brush will be a bit wet. Then I just swirl it a bit on the tissue, to get off any excess. When the brush is lightly damp I pick up eyeshadow and apply it as normally.

If the brush is too wet it might leave some residue on the eyeshadow itself. It may also be a bit harder to blend the eyeshadow, because it's a lot more intense looking and it can get patchy quickly.

That being said, if you blend it properly and pack it on, this will stay for a whole day and not move at all.

As you can see I did my usual eyeshadow. I put some matte shadow in the crease, some shimmery shade all over the lid and some in the inner corner. I also applied the sealer on the liner brush. 

You can basically use it with everything. With lipsticks, blushes, eyeshadows, eyeliners... But I really wanted this to work for eyeshadow. I assume this would be amazing for glitter on the eyes or pigments. 

The eyeshadow stayed perfect for the whole day. Of course I had to try it in one of those extremely hot summer days. I swear, my eye makeup was melting this month. It was so hot outside and I was sweaty and the makeup was sliding of my face. But with this, nothing. It stayed exactly how I applied it. I am seriously impressed. 

I also used it on my eyebrows with my eyebrow powder and it was just as perfect. 

I speared you from showing my entire face, because trust me, you do not wanna see how my foundation looks after 12 hours. 

If you use small amount and really build up the intensity, this is magic. It will seal in your makeup and it will stay perfect for the entire day. It's so cheap and so effective. Elf did it again. I love this brand and can't wait to buy more of their products. 

It's a plastic pot with screw top and you get 4.7 grams of product. The price varies from where you buy it. It's around 3€, somewhere more, somewhere less. Wait for discount and you'll be fine. You also get a small liner brush, which I personally don't use, because it's too hard for my taste.

Plum Purple is deep plum shade with cool undertone. It almost has blue sheen to it. As I've said before, I like that their eyeliners are darker versions of colors, because even if I go for an eyeliner, I still want it to be dark.

The texture is very cream and you have to be careful with application. You may need to go over a line to get the full opacity and make it perfect, but once you perfect it, it will dry and stay put for all day. I won't go into detail, because it's pretty much the same experience with the Coffee eyeliner and you can read more in-depth review here.

If I'm completely honest, I expected this shade to be more warm toned. It's still a nice variation to classic black eyeliner and you have many shades to chose from. 

The package includes a little plastic pot with eyeliner and mini eyeliner brush. It contains 4.7 grams and it costs only 3$. Perfect!

I am gonna say it right away, that I did not like the brush at all. It's a cute mini size, but it's too harsh and too dense for this kind of eyeliner. I tried putting on the eyeliner, but it was leaving two lines at the edge of both brush corners, instead of leaving nice even thin line. 

The eyeliner itself is very creamy and almost feel too thin in consistency. That means you really get some play time with it, while applying it. It also means that it could be used as a cream base for eye shadow. It really is that soft and mousse like. I thought that this couldn't possibly work, but it does. After a while (about two minutes after application) it dries. Once it's dry it will not move. Seriously. I haven't seen such a good longevity of a cream liner before. It stays put all day. I put it on my hand and took it under water and nothing. I rubbed it a little and it still stayed on its place. So in my opinion, it's definitely waterproof.

It can be used as a very precise gel liner or as an eye shadow cream base or even as a smudge eye pencil. You can really smudge it around and create perfect smoky eye.

The shade Coffee, is a really dark brown shade. I like it, because it's not light, it's still very much a dark eyeliner shade, just a little bit less harsh. It almost has that taupe feel to it. You can see how it looks like on me. I'm usually always black liner girl, but I find this less harsher change to be very interesting. I've since used it with a few more pretty subtle makeup looks and I really like it. Now I want to buy purple version, which should really bring out my eye color. :)

This eyeliner is definitely a winner in my book. The packaging is adorable, shade is really pretty, texture is a dream to work with and it's extremely long lasting. Plus the best part - it's really cheap. What's not to love?!

I have added a new brush to my collection. It's also a really cheap one, but very soft. It's Blush Brush by Elf and it costs only 3$ (around 2.50€). The hair is synthetic and it has a nice black design. I'm not sure if the handle is plastic or wooden, but I would say plastic.

The brush is tapered and it comes to a nice point on the top. It's not as nicely seen on the photo, as it is in person. It's also pretty flat from the sides. For most, it's probably a little on the small side for a blush brush, but I think it's the perfect size. If you want to apply the brush only on the very apples of cheeks, this is the brush for you. It also means that it's pretty much perfect for highlighting, even contouring if you use it from the side. It's also good size for setting the powder with. Basically, perfect for everything. 

Brush is extremely soft. That's just how I like my brushes to be. The fact that is pretty dense and flatten it also means it doesn't split all around your face, but can actually give you a pretty intense application. I've since cleaned it a few times and it's still very soft. No hair fallout.

In my book that is a total winner. Dare I say, it can match up to some more expensive brushes?! If you have a chance, I really encourage you to buy this one. I know you won't regret the purchase, because you can really use it for so many different parts of the face and the softness will make your day.

Now I'm planning on buying the powder brush, maybe a fan brush, also regular eye shadow c brush...yeah, you get the idea. For a little over 2€, I don't mind having even more brushes, if it means bringing some softness to my face. :)
