April haul

Hey Beauties!

April has been one good month. I bought some new products and I got some for review purposes. It's rare that I accumulate this much of new products, so I thought it would be nice to do a haul and show you what reviews you may expect in the future.

Silky Touch Cleansing Milk

I got this cleansing milk in Spar and I was intrigued by it, because I saw that Afrodita Cosmetics is doing this cleansing milk for the Spar brand. I thought I might find a cheaper alternative to my Balea Med Cleansing Milk. Haven't tried it yet.

MAC blush in Peaches

First of all, it's not real MAC. I said something about it on my Instagram. I ordered it from Aliexpress and thought it wouldn't say MAC on it, but it does. I already found the differences in the packaging, comparing it to the original. I also found that the texture is nothing like the real MAC blush. However, the shade is very pretty. Right up my alley.

I got some coupons from DM for 50% off of some natural brands. I love going a bit more natural for my face and I seized the opportunity to try something new.

Burt's Bees Nourishing Lip Balm

I think this is the original one with the honey. This is a repurchase. Burt's Bees are one of my favorite lip balms. They're moisturizing and thick, how I like them.

Le Petit Olivier Regenerating Night Balm

I bought this on, because I wanted some night care for my face. I expected it to be more creamy, but it's actually like a butter. Therefore the balm name. It looks like a bunch of oils and butters mixed together and then hardened. It's actually extremely oily once you put it on your face, but my skin almost completely soaks it in. I haven't tried it that much, but I somehow got the feeling that it's more a layer that sits on the skin and doesn't really do much. But I might change my opinion after some use.

Sans Soucis Naturkozmetik Sensitive Intensive Serum

I bought this one purely because of the price. I think it's about two euros cheaper than my beloved Dr. Sheller Jojoba Oil and Schisandra Soothing Intensive Serum. This one also contains jojoba and schisandra, so I figured it must me pretty much the same. Haven't tried it yet.

I also found a coupon for Feelunique and I bought some product that were on my wishlist for a long time.

Margaret Debbs Crystal Nail File

I've been contantly repurchasing cheap Essence and DM nail files and I just got tired of it. If I buy a nail file for 2 euros every two months, what's the point? So I decided to invest in some crystal file. I found this one of Feelunique and it had good reviews. I only tried it once and I love it! It files the nails so gently, yet effectively. I had glass files in the past and they've all been crap. The glaze of those files came of after like three uses. I just hope that this one will last me forever, as good crystal files should.

Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream

There's no secret I have horrible dry skin on my hands. Just look at some of my nail photos, horrific. I've wanted this cuticle cream for the longest time and I decided to just get it now. I've been applying it liberally when I remember and I do find that the cuticles look more moisturized.

L'Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim

This one is a repurchase. It's my favorite eyeliner. You can read the review here

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Soothing and Repairing Balm

Truthfully, this one was a throw in the basket to get to the desired amount purchase. I needed to buy certain amount and I was short for few euros, so I decided to throw this one in. So far, I don't find it anything special. It's like a regular Labello lip balm to me.

I got these two products from my relative.

Vichy Capital Soleil Invisible Hydrating Mist SPF 30

It's like a sunscreen in a spray form. You just spray it on and massage it in. It's SPF 30. I haven't tried it yet. This will probably reserved for holidays.

Vichy Ideal Soleil Daily Milky Care

This one is some sort of after sun milk. It sounds promising, since it is daily care and it's for sensitive skin. Also reserved for holidays and no I haven't even opened it.

I also felt the urge to buy some cream highlighters. If you don't know it yet, I'm a highlighter freak. However, I only owe one cream highlighter. I decided to try some from the Born Pretty Store.

Bubu Professional Girl Wow Painting Lip Tint in shade 3

That's the on in the tube. I was unpleasantly surprised that both these highlighters have pink sheen to it. I went for gold ones, but I guess not. They have gold shimmer, but pink sheen. It's a mix of it all. This one is very sheer, maybe even a bit too sheer for my taste. It's too subtle for me. I'm confused about the lip tint name and the fact that it says to be used on the lips?! Maybe it's a multi purpose product?!

Sugar Box Face Shimmer Stick in 02

This one has an amazing fruits scent that makes me happy. It's a lot more pigmented and one swipe will almost send your highlight to the universe. It's a lot more gold, although it also has some pink sheen to it. Love this one.

Born Pretty Store also send me some products, which I picked, for the review.

CBI Colorbox lipstick in 06

You've already seen this one in my Asian inspired simple spring makeup here. It's an amazing bright orange shade. It's extremely pigmented and feels really nice on the lips. Definitely my kind of shade.

Fairy Girl Powder Eyeshadow and Nose Shadow in 01

This is an eyeshadow powder for eyebrows and you can also use it to contour the nose. I love this. Been wearing it ever since I got it. The shades are really nice, because they're not too warm and the powder seems to be really well pigmented. The brush that comes with it, it's useful. Go figure! I actually use it all the time.

I also have a PETRAH10 code for 10% off on their products.

Alpstories, a new brand to be, offered me some products and I was really excited. As I mentioned before, I love going more natural for my skin care and those products pride themselves on being natural.

Alpstories Organic Shampoo Aloe Vera

This one came with the package as an extra. I'm not big on natural hair products, but I did already tried it once. I have to say it cleaned my hair well, which is all I expect from my shampoo. It also didn't left them squeakily clean, like some shampoos do, which is a plus in my opinion.

Alpstories Cold Pressed 100% Pure Organic Argan Oil

I've always had argan oil in the back of my mind. It's always been said that argan oil is one of the best oils for face, so I decided to get this one. I tried it only once on my face and I like it. I used it overnight and my skin was well moisturized and soft in the morning.

Alpstories Hyaluronic Acid Cream

Hyaluronic acid is great for fighting wrinkles and making better skin surface in general. I'm 26 and I start to look for anti age ingredients more and more. I don't believe you can stop the aging process, but I believe you can make it go a little slower. That's why I decided for this cream. So far I like it. It's a nice creamy texture. It's well moisturizing, but it becomes matte when I massage it into the skin. I also really like the subtle natural smell.

Today Slovenian online store Ličila.si suprised me with this lovely package.

Makeup Revolution Ultra Sculpt and Contour Kit in Ultra Fair

I've actually had this product on my wish list and in that exact shade, so I was really happy to get it. I already tried it today and I am really surprised by the pigmentation. It's really pigmented. I also love the champagne pink shade of highlighter. And the blush shade is just as amazing. Coral pink with gold shimmer. Beautiful.

Makeup Revolution Pressed Powder in Translucent

I'm glad to report that this is an extremely light shade of powder. Fair ladies, I can almost recommend it already. I only tried it on my hand, but it look promising.

They also gave me a code for my you. It's called BRALKABLOGA15 and you get 15% off on all the products that are not on sale (the offer doesn't include Sigma Beauty, Kardashian Beauty and Anastasia Beverly Hills).

Another brand that offered me to try some of their products, is Farmasi. I think this is the same type of system as it is with Avon. It's Turkish brand and they cover everything from skin care, to makeup, hair and body products.

Farmasi Eyebrow Styling Powder

Powder for eyebrows. I already tried it and I like it. I've always been using Catrice eyebrow pencil, but I seem to really like those eyebrow powders. I didn't really like the before, because I never found them to be pigmented enough.

Farmasi Kajal Secret Eyeliner Pen

Don't really understand why it's called Kajal, because it's like a felt tip liner. It literally looks like a marker. I haven't tried it yet.

Farmasi Eye Brow Pencil in 01

I tried this one and the shade is a bit too warm to match my natural brows. However, it does suit my warm hair, although I prefer my brows to be cool toned.

Farmasi Shine Rush in 01 and 02

It's a two in one product. On one side you have lipstick and on the other it's matching lip gloss. One of the shades is more of a fuchsia pink and the other is a warm red toned pink. The lipsticks are extremely pigmented. Lip glosses are pretty sheer, but match the lipsticks. Haven't wore them yet.

Farmasi BB Cream All In One in Medium to Dark

I actually forgot to took a photo of this one. It's their BB cream, but I got the Medium to Dark, which is of course way too dark for me. I'll probably mix it with my foundations once I get a summer tan. I actually love the smell of this BB cream and it seems to be pretty thick, which could mean good coverage.

Spring haul

Hey Beauties!

Another haul post. I've grown to love these, as I can feature some new products and my thought on them. Because a lot of products never get on my blog, so this is nice. Mateja, Sandra and I, recently ordered some products from Kiko. We decided to split the postage and ordered some really nice products. I also decided to finally invest in Depend Gellack nail polish system.

Starting with Kiko, I knew I had to get some of their nail polishes. I only have one nail polish from Kiko and that one impressed me so much that I wanted some more. I got this very bright yellow Quick Dry nail polish in the shade 853. It actually has a lime green shine to it. It's very bright, perfect for spring and summer. I also got one of their regular nail polish line in the shade 322, which is a really nice light milky brown shade. I also really wanted to get their 3 in 1 Mat top coat. I haven't tried it yet, so I can't report on it.

Kiko Quick Dry Nail Lacquer 853 Pearly Light Yellow, 3.90€
Kiko Nail Lacquer 322 Caffe Latte, 1.00€
Kiko 3 in 1 Mat Fortifying Fast Dry Base Coat, Top Coat, 4.90€

I think all of us got at least one shade of their Long Lasting Stick 8 Hour No-transfer Eyeshadow. I got the shades 06 and 21. 06 is taupe bronze brown, it's actually very similar Maybelline Color Tattoo in 35 On and On Bronze. 21 is an interesting shade. It's a mixture of peach and pink. It looks very bright on the eyes. I won't go too much into detail, because reviews of these products will be in another post soon.

Kiko Long Lasting Stick 8 Hour No-transfer Eyeshadow 06 Golden Brown, 6.90€
Kiko Long Lasting Stick 8 Hour No-transfer Eyeshadow 21 Passion Fruit, 6.90€

Mateja was so nice to actually send me some huge testers of some of the products that she has and I've mentioned in the past that I would like to try. You gotta give it to her, she did not hold back when pouring these products for me. Seriously over-sized testers! :)

I've only tried this Dove Purely Pampering Oil with Shea Butter and Vanilla once on my hand. It smells so lovely fruity sweet. The oil gives a beautiful subtle shine to the skin. I don't find it very greasy, but my skin is very dry these days. I think this will be amazing for summer. The shimmer in it is so small, that I don't even detect it on my skin. It just gives a really pretty sheen.

I've already tried The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil a few times and I love it. The smell is so nice and comforting. The oils works great, removes all of my makeup and makes my skin feel very soft and nourished. I really like it and will sure get it, when I have the chance.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover Camouflage Makeup for Face and Body, it's a good coverage foundation. I know Mateja uses this as a concealer and I tried it for that too. It works great. It is a very good coverage and the shade seems to match my skin tone really good. It's especially nice for under the eyes, since it is so light. I only used it on my face once and I loved it. Would need to try it more, to report on it.

She also included MAC Vanilla pigment, which surprised me. I always thought it has an obvious pink shine to it, but it's actually very light white golden shade, that has a pink and gold shine to it. It's just such an amazing mixture of shades. It's now on my wishlist.

Aquolina Pink Sugar perfume is a-m-a-z-i-n-g! This was the first thing I noticed when I opened the package. It didn't spill or anything, but the smell was somehow present in there. It's such a sweet vanilla caramel scent, that will make you wanna eat it. I've decided, I definitely need to get this one. It's just so sweet and so good.

I've had the old version of Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation and since I used it up, I decided I need to get the new one. Lately, my skin has been very dry and this foundation is the only one that looks really good on me and also moisturizes it. I have to say, I think the new formulation is darker. Don't know why, but it just seems way too dark. I haven't notice any other differences, but then again, I haven't been using it for a long time.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation 51 Light Vanilla, 14.99€

As I've mentioned before, I finally decided to splurge on Depend Gellack nail polish system and I admit, my heart felt a little uneasy spending that much money for a starter kit, but it is worth it. I also had a coupon for 30% off, so it was a bit cheaper. Starter kit includes their before and after cleanser, base coat and top coat. It also has UV light, which helps to dry the nail polish faster and some nail file and those cuticle wooden remover. I think it's worth for the UV light if nothing else, because I dry my other nail polishes underneath it and it really helps to make nail polish dry faster. I'll have to use it more, to decide if it also prolongs the wear of nail polish.

Depend Gellack Starter Kit, 46.99€

I only bought one shade of nail polish and that was black. It's my most versatile shade and I decided I'll just paint something on black to make it more interesting. I'm sure I'll expend my color range in the future. I wanted to add some other brands of nail polish, which I can buy on Ebay for a very cheap price.

Gellack Depend 039 Black as Night, 6.99€

And since I was at it, I also got their Remover Oil, because I already made my nails with this kit once and I did have a bit of trouble getting the nail polish off. It left my nail surface a bit uneven, which is not what I want in the future.

Depend Gellack Remover Oil, 2.99€

My coworker has this system and she landed it to me once, so that I could try it before I bought it. My nails stayed nice for about a week. I think the wear time might get longer with more uses. I love changing up the nail polish colors and all that, but sometimes I just don't have time to reapply the nail polish. This will come in handy for when I want my nails to stay pretty for a longer time. Think summer vacation, long working weeks and such.

Makeup and Ikea haul

Hey Beauties!

I've never done a haul before, so this is a first. Because I was never buying a lot of stuff at once, I never felt the need to show what I bought. This Saturday me and my boyfriend went to Seiersberg and Graz in Austria, so I did get a few more things than I normally buy. I will make a detailed reviews for all the products in the future. You can also expect my makeup organisation post, because I did get a few things for that specific purpose in Ikea.

First I went in Douglas to buy some MAC and NYX products. Online I also saw that they had Zoeva brushes, but they didn't have them in the store. I was disappointed, because I really wanted to buy the brushes without the additional postage that comes with ordering them online.

From MAC I bought two lipsticks, one concealer and because I had that Zoeva-leftover-money I also bought one blush.

It's a Sheertone Blush in shade Pinch Me. In the pan it looks like a mauve shade, but it's actually a really nice sort of orange pink red. I can't explain it. It's a very natural matte shade. I wanted something that I can wear again an again. Very versatile and natural.

Price: 22.95€ click

I also got lipstick in the shade Patisserie, which has a luster finish. It's a very well known shade, that is a nice mixture of pink, brown and peach. Also a very wearable my lips but better shade. I like that it's not typically pink, but looks more brown based on me.

Price: 19.95€ click

The next lipstick I bought is Velvet Teddy, which has a matte finish. I admit, I'm loving the 90s trend of brown lipsticks that is coming back this season. I guess you may have seen Kyle Jenner rocking this MAC Velvet Teddy lipstick on daily occasions. I loved the shade on her and since I love brown lipsticks in general, I decided to get it. It's beautiful warm peach based brown, that would be my lips but better shade for darker skin tones. On me it's pretty dark.

Price: 19.95€ click

I also got Pro Longewear Concealer in NC15. A while ago, I bought NC20, which is way too dark for me. I admit, I didn't like it under the eyes, but I do love the medium to full coverage that it gives every else on the face. So I decided to buy lighter shade and maybe mix it with the darker shade for the summer.

Price: 18.95€ click

Douglas also had NYX products. Since I also can't get these in my country, I was very excited. I really wanted their blush in Taupe, but of course it was sold out. Such a shame. I saw their butter glosses and bought one. I did hope to find their matte versions of lip glosses, but no luck.

I got one of the NYX Matte lipsticks in the shade Alabama, which is a beautiful dark red. I needed something like this for this fall.

Price: 7.45€ click

I also got Butter Gloss in the shade Apple Strudel. Decision was pretty hard, because all of the lip glosses looked very pink and I am not a fan of pink. So, I went for the most peachy shade among them. It still looks a bit too pink for my taste. But hey, at least I got one. Maybe I'll find a use of layering it over some lipsticks.

Price: 6.95€ click

I also checked out their Müller, because I thought they must have some more products than we have in our country. I was right.

I also saw that they have the Color Show range of nail polishes and got two shades for fall. One is called 549 Midnight Taupe. Names Maybelline? How refreshing to see:). It's a basic taupe shade.

Price: 2.39€

I also got it in the shade 677 Blackout, which is a regular black shade.

Price: 2.39€

You may know I'm obsessed with Maybelline Color Tattoos. When I saw the golden shade called 05-Eternal Gold, I got it. It's a beautiful a bit too much yellow based gold shade. I hope the formula is just as good as other shimmery tattoos.

Price: 6.39€

I also thought that there will be The Body Shop, but it was closed. Damn you. I was so excited for nothing. Maybe next time..

You can not go to Graz and not stop at Ikea. This was only my second time in Ikea, so I was excited. The problem was, that we got their a bit late, so a lot of quick browsing and walking was involved in the process. I need a whole day, to see it all and process it. I did have a list of things I wanted and I actually found it all.

This is a three piece sort of organizational insert for drawers. I am planing to keep my makeup in this.

Price: 9.99€ (9, 15$) click

Those are the same things, but a bit cheaper and have only two departments. I am also planing to use this to organize my makeup in the drawers.

Price: 0.99€ (0.80£, 1.99$) click

I also got a table mirror, which is a lot larger than I expected. I guess I'll be able to do my makeup and actually see all of it in one mirror. Yey for me :).

Price: 14.99€ (15£, 14.99$) click

Those were some really cheap thin clothes hangers. I couldn't resist.

Price: 0.79€ (0.60£, 0.39$) click

I also like to hang my trousers and jeans, so I bought four of these trouser hangers. I'm always wondering, why are these not sold anywhere?!

Price: 0.99€ (0.80£, 0.99$) click

For a very cheap price, I also got those two glass candle holders. I am planing to use them for something else. Maybe for holding the brushes or pencils. They look too pretty to just be used for candles. A bargain, if I may say so.

Price: 0.99€ (1.25£, 0.99$) click

Last but not least, I smelled the candles at the end of the store and even though I already have too much of them, I couldn't pass on this one. It smells like ice cream! Such a yummy smell.

Price: 1.79€ (didn't find it online)

So that is my first ever haul. I hope I'll get the chance to write more of these and let me know if you even like reading such posts.
