I have this lovely shade of nail polish that I somehow rediscovered and admired the shade a lot. That's why I decided to try to recreate it in my makeup look.
This is Alessandro nail polish in shade 261. It's such an admiring shade in a bottle. Has some glitters of purple, green, blue and even yellow tones. It's sort of multi-color shade. However I always get disappointed when applying it and realizing it just looks blue on nails. But this is an inspiring makeup and I wanted to recreate the beauty in the bottle :)
I used Maybelline Color Tatto in Permanent Taupe all over the lid with a fluffy brush.
All over the lid I applied royal blue eye shadow (Essence 11 Wild at Heart) with a flat brush. Then I used crease brush to apply violet eye shadow in the crease (Essence Paradise in 01 Cockatoo). I used emerald green eye shadow (Essence 18 Super Babe) on a fluffy brush and applied it only in the center. In the inner corner of the eye I applied light nude highlighting shade (MUA Undress Me Too in Shy) with a little pencil brush.
On the lower lid I also applied Permanent Taupe with a smaller flat brush and then continued with violet shade all over and emerald green in the center only.
I used black eye shadow (MUA Undress Me Too in Corrupt) to create a little winged liner.
I finished with coats of L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes mascara.
I contoured my cheeks also using Maybelline Color Tatto in Permanent Taupe. I find this to be a great gray color for a natural shadow. Then I applied some of my home made red cream blush and highlighter. You can find my DIY cream blush here.
