L'Oreal Elvital Tonerde Absolue Shampoo

L'Oreal came out with new hair care line based on clay as one of ingredients. Shampoo is meant for those with oily roots and dry ends, which is basically what I have. In colder months I often get dandruff, the dry kind that flakes off as you scratch your hair. That is why I wanted to try this shampoo. It's not anti-dandruff, but the clay ingredient seemed like one of those things that could help and it did. I don't have that dry dandruff anymore. It cleans the hair well, doesn't leave them too dry nor it makes them oilier any faster. It's actually really nice. The scent is very fruity, kind of like Fructis shampoos. It also leathers really well and has white thicker cream consistency.

Avon Senses Sensual Dream Dark Chocolate & Coconut Shower Gel

I included this in my January favorites and it's still here. It's basically my new favorite shower gel scent. To me it smells like chocolate pudding and chocolate chip cookies. It even has a bit thicker brown consistency, leathers well and doesn't make my skin dry. 

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation 51 Light Vanilla

I realize I still haven't written a review of this foundation that has been one of my winter staples for quite a few years. Since I'm planning on buying new formulation, I will probably do a comparison with the old one. I like it, because it feels hydrating and it never sticks to dry patches. Coverage is a bit too light for my taste, it's somewhere in the light medium category. But I use concealer to conceal anything that the foundation didn't. It has strong fruity scent and it's not the most long lasting. I would advise this to someone with dry or combination skin, but definitely not for those of you that don't want anything too shiny and kind of greasy. 

E.l.f. High Definition Powder Sheer

I've grown to love this again. It especially works nice under the eyes. I've also tried baking with it and it looked nice. I like it, because it's super fine white powder and it makes the skin feel very smooth. It feels like it fills in any bumps and it's also not heavy looking. In fact it's very sheer, so I use it when I want a more natural finish, but make the skin matter. 

Nabla Velvetline Long-Lasting Matte Eye Pencil Bombay Black

This has been a surprising find. It's very soft black pencil that is perfect for smudged looks. I also like it, when I don't have time to create full on precise winged liquid liner. That's when I just apply this along the lash line and smudge it out in a winged like shape. It's nice black color and actually stays on the eyes well. 

Essence The Cushion Eyeliner 01 Black

On the contrary to Nabla's this is a very precise and very liquid liner. I grown to love it and the formula works in favor for precise looks. You have to work quick with it though, because it dries really quick. Once it's dry, it doesn't move at all. I like liquid version, because it gives you more precision and is not as dry or thick looking as for example gel eyeliners in a pot.

Catrice Liquid Metal Longlasting Cream Eyeshadow 020 Champagne Shower

It's my new favorite product when I want some pop of shimmer on the lid, but almost nothing else on the eyes. It's really quick and easy to apply. I usually put some on my finger and just stamp it on the center of the lid for that subtle glow sheen. I don't use it on my entire lid, because the shade is too light for me for that. It also works great as an inner highlight. Once it dries it doesn't move at all and it's very long lasting. It has sort of creamy texture to it, but dries down once it gets on the skin. I hate that the writing already came off the packaging. Now I have to look for the product online, whenever I want to describe it.

Catrice Lip Cushion 010 Better Make A Mauve

My lips have been dry again, so there weren't many lip products that would feel comfortable on them. This one was. It's so comfortable and soothing to wear. A bit stickier and pigmented lip gloss in a very natural my-lips-but-better shade. I don't mind the applicator either. It's easy throw-in-the-bag product.

Avon True Colour BB 7-in-1 Nail Enamel Caring Creme

I have been really liking more nude colored nail polishes lately. Don't know what came over me, because I usually disliked that kind of shades. I ordered this one recently and it's definitely my favorite. It's the perfect warm peach based nude shade for my skin tone. I don't like nudes that are too brown looking. It also lasted on my nails really well, which is a plus.

Herbio Shower Gel Cotton Seed

This is a greenish blue gel, which cleans your body and smells subtle and calming. I'll talk more about it in a separate review. I've been loving this, because skin on my body has been dry and many other shower gels just further irritate it. But this is very natural, nicely moisturizing and it doesn't irritate the skin. 

Pixi Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner

This is great for in the morning and in the evening. I like to use it in the evening. It's a chemical exfoliant which is also moisturizing. I like the smooth effect that it gives to my skin and the fact that it also provides a bit of moisture. Great stuff and the amount is huge. 

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-purpose Dry Oil

I already have a review of this here. It's my skin savior in these winter months. I've been using this for a while almost every evening and it looks like I haven't even tested it properly. This amount lasts you for a really long time and it makes your skin very soft and smooth. It also nourishes it, so you always wake up with hydrated skin. 

Ebelin Konjak Sponge

So Ebelin made their own version of konjak sponge and it's so cheap. I've been testing it out a bit and I love this for one good reason. It's the best product for a nice facial massage and for spoiling yourself. It's super soft, but still gives some pressure to the skin and it feels like you're giving yourself a face massage. It also exfoliates the skin a little, so if you have dry skin, I wouldn't recommend you to use this every day. 

By Nanda BB Cushion Magic

My first cushion BB and I really like it, again because of the colder days. This is a very glowy and very dewy product and I need to powder it at the end or I look like a grease ball in the matter of an hour. But this is the best product for dry skin and for a quick makeup. I have a review of it here. I absolutely adore cushion system and want to try more of these. Do you have any recommendations?

Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer 005 Light Natural

Catrice added a new lighter shade to their range and I had to get it. I've been using it for every makeup this month. It's lighter and a bit more yellow toned. This is perfectly moisturizing with a medium coverage. You can also build it up and I love the fact that it doesn't go into small lines. I also love the lighter shade, which I almost use to highlight with a bit. I have a review of two other shades here. 

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer

My holy grail highlighter. I have a review here. I've been abusing this all through the whole month. It's a champagne gold highlighter with fine shimmer and it gives you the best glow ever. A really noticeable glow, which I love. I won't go into details, because I'm sure you're sick of me talking about it.

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette

This is from now on my favorite eyeshadow palette. It has all the basic matte browns and a few neutral shimmers as well as some warm pops of color. The quality is amazing and the price will blow you away just as well. Definitely need to get some more palettes from Zoeva. I reviewed it here.

Diamond Beauty Eyeliner in 01 Forever Black

I've already wrote a review for this here and I can say that this is my favorite eyeliner so far. It's in a pen form, but has a brush tip and it's super precise. You can draw the thinnest lines possible or thicker. It dries fast and doesn't transfer. What more could I ask of eyeliner?!

Avon Dreams Eau de Parfum

The fragrance that I've been really enjoying using this month is the new one by Avon called Dreams. It's a very sophisticated romantic and subtly sweet fragrance. I'll do a whole review in a separate post. This is definitely for all you dreamy romantic souls.

I've recently joined Snapchat. I didn't really get it at first, but then my good friend (who's name I shall not mention) said that this is the best way of stalking other people, haha. This has now become a rather interesting tool for posting spur of the day moments and even recording some of my makeup there. I can post a lot more non-beauty related photos there. Asian Makeup on YouTube

I've been into Asian makeup this month. I got some Japanese brand makeup to test and I've been browsing through some Asian online stores. I've actually ordered one foundation which I still didn't get. Their makeup seems to be so innovative and effective and I am all over it. One YouTuber that sparked my interest in Korean makeup is PONY Makeup. I've watched all her videos. I also liked watching Meej Muse Korean-Australian YouTuber with some great product reviews of Korean makeup products. I love the subtle and sparkly eyes with eyeliner, perfect base and ombre lips. It's a totally different approach to makeup than our European-American makeup with heavy contouring and outlined lips. It's a lot more natural and softer looking. Pretty, I would say. The visual images have been stuck in my mind and I've even started doing ombre lips with lipsticks and lip glosses. Now I have a huge wish list of Asian makeup products, that I'm probably gonna be obsessing over the next few months.
