I have tried a few beauty tools and you either love them and use them regularly in your skincare routine or you forget about them. I have to admit most of my beauty tools stay in the drawer and come out a few times a year when I actually remember to use them. Except for LED Face Mask from CurrentBody. I have the Series 1 version and that is the only beauty tool that I actually use every week for at least three times a week, sometimes even more. I use it on my face as well as on my hands. I was glad to get a chance to try the new and improved Series 2 version of the LED mask.

I rarely do these wishlists posts, probably once a year around holidays. It's just one of the more fun blog posts that I get to do more for myself than anyone else really. This is sort of like my shopping list for when I have the budget to invest and some of these never get to my home and that's ok too. I just love doing these sort of lists so that I make better choices when sales come around and I don't just buy whatever is on sale.

Today I'll talk about the beauty tools that I think every beauty lover needs. I realize I haven't talked about certain products, which I don't get to mention in my makeup looks or reviews, but are crucial to how my end result looks like.
Eyelash curler is an absolute must have of mine. Even if I don't apply my makeup, I'll at least curl my lashes to looks semi descent. It's a must have beauty tool for anyone that isn't naturally blessed with curled lashes (if you are, good for you and I envy you). If you're lashes are short, curling them, will make them look longer. If you're mascara doesn't do anything for your lashes, curl them before you apply the mascara and the result will be mind blowing. So many of people that I know are still terrified of this tool. It's not a torture tool, but it can make your lashes look so much better. I feel like if you do your eye makeup perfect and don't have curled lashes, it just doesn't look as pretty and pulled together.
I have a Shu Uemura one. At the beginning I didn't really like it as much, because I had to get used to the shape. Now I really like it and I feel like I can get a really nice curl. I've heard good things about Shiseido curler as well. Before I also had Tana eyelashes curlers, which I'm not sure if they are still available. Those were nice too.
Essence and Look by Bipa Spoolie
Ok, this must not seem like a must have product for all you Cara Delevingne brow owners, but everyone else needs this. I use it whenever I do my brows. I brush my brows so I can see better where to fill in and where not. My brows also like to point down and in multiple directions, so this helps me to get the better shape in general. I've hear some fun statements on Instagram like: She brushes her brows, but doesn't brush her hair. That actually happens to me a lot. Especially if I air dry my hair, I forget to brush them, but I never forget to brush my brows if I go out. Are you like that too? If you're brows are also going in multiple directions, use a spoolie and spray it with some hair spray and brush through the brows to shape and set them.
I really like my Look by Bipa spoolie, which has just the perfect density and is white, so I can easily clean it and see when it's clean. Since this one is really old and the glue doesn't hold it in place anymore I also got one from Essence, which has a comb on the other side. Comb is perfect for brushing through your lashes to prevent them from clumping up.
Tweezerman Mini Slant Tweezer Lavender
While we're on the topic of brows, let's talk about the shape of them. If you grew up in the 90s, you've learned the lesson of how horrible over plucking them can be. The brows got a lot of attention in previous year and it's all about fuller brows, so obviously you shouldn't pluck them too much. That being said, I hate those little brows that grow out of my usual line and I pluck them immediately. To tell you the truths, I'm a bit obsessed with plucking those stray brow hair. The first thing that I do when I wake up is that I look in the mirror and see if any unwanted brow has grown in the night. I also think it makes you eye makeup look cleaner.
I don't know what I was doing before I got Tweezerman tweezers. Those are seriously the best tweezers I've ever tried. They are able to pull out the tiniest hair. They are sharp and very precise. You only have to pull the hair in the way that it grows, otherwise you can tear it. What I love the most about it, is the fact that I can pull out very short hair, which I couldn't with other tweezers. The fact that they are very sharp also helps with pulling out ingrown hair. Mine are mini, because full size is more expensive and I chose the lavender shade, but they have multiple pretty designs.
Ebelin Precision Makeup Egg and Mini Eggs
If you hate the look of foundations on your skin, because you don't like the heavy look of them, try applying them with a makeup sponge. Makeup sponges are a great tools to make your makeup look natural. You damp them and then apply foundation on with them or just use them after you've applied foundation and it will blend it into the skin and make it look a lot more natural and less heavy. I find makeup sponges to be one of the best makeup tools. They really make a difference. You can use them to blend in anything - foundation, concealer, cream blushes, cream highlighters, you can bake with loose powders... Multiple uses and the finished effect is always natural. It's also the easiest way of applying foundation. If you struggle to use brushes or hate the lines that you may have after applying it with fingers, just use makeup sponge. Anyone can do it.
I use Ebelin Precision Makeup Egg, which is the same shape as Beauty Blender (the most known makeup sponge). It has a nice foam, which is not too dense or hard and not too soft. It's the perfect hardness and it gets bigger once you run it under the water. I find that it dries nicely. It does have some stains in it, which are harder to clean, especially if you use very long lasting foundations. I also have the minis which are so cute. I like to use these to blend my concealer under the eyes. This prevents it from looking too heavy and going into fine lines. I also previously used Nanshy makeup sponge, which was really good as well.
You probably know that makeup can develop a lot of bacteria. Especially if you apply it with your hands, which are not always clean or the makeup is a bit old. One thing you need to do every now and then is disinfect it. There's nothing better to do this with than an alcohol. Better yet, isopropyl alcohol, which is 99.7% alcohol and is used in medicine. It evaporates very quickly and it won't disturb your makeup formulas at all. It will just kill all the bacteria. I like to spray this all over my makeup like eye shadow palettes, blushes, highlighters and lipsticks. Especially if I'll be using it on someone else. You're usually using your makeup with brushes going back and forth. The oils and previous makeup can easily be found on your brush as well as any existing bacteria. Cleaning it also means that you'l prevent it from going bad a lot longer. Obviously you can also use this on makeup brushes, although it's better to deep clean those with shampoos or soaps.

Here I'm not talking about the fact that you need to brush your hair, but what with do you need to brush it. Tangle Teezer. It's absolutely the best hair tool for anyone that has split ends, coarse hair or nest in the back. This is the only hair brush that doesn't pull on my hair. If you're hair is really tangled, you'll feel some pulling, but it's nothing compared to regular hair brushes. You can also use it on wet hair and it's very easy to clean. It's all made out of rubber and plastic, so you can easily wash it with soap or shampoo and it doesn't have any holes.
I've had the black one for a while now. Ever since I got it, I haven't used any other hair brush on my hair. The pink one* I got recently. It was sent to me by Avon, who also sells original Tangle Teezer in case you didn't know. I love this bright almost neon pink shade, it's perfect for spring and also makes it a lot easier to find in the darkness of my bag. The black one is about 3 years old and it's not as shiny anymore and the rubbery teeth are not as straight as they were before, but other than that it's still very nice. This is an investment that you won't regret, I promise.
Margaret Debbs Crystal Nail File
Even if you don't paint your nails, you need to shorten them or at least shape them. Days when I used nail clippers are long gone. They can make your nails split and it's horrible to use on hard nails (not that mine are). I much prefer filing them and hear that it's actually better for your nails. You just have to use the right nail files. Diamond, glass and crystal files are a lot better than the usual old school nail files that you can get in most drugstores or just steal sand paper from your father's tool box.
I have Margaret Debbs Crystal nail file and it's fantastic. It's not too abrasive, but has a very fine way of filing the nails. You see small white dust falling off of your nails. That being said it's pretty powerful and you can shorten your nails in no time. These sort of files should last you a life time. Every now and then you can clean them with water and they are always like new. It's the gentles and best way of filling your nails.
These are all the beauty tools that are completely irreplaceable in my everyday routine. I though I should mention these in a post and give them some credit. What are some of the tools that you can't live without?

Hey Beauties!
One year is around and I wanted to write a post about some of my favorite products, that I've discovered in 2014. It's selection of those products that are always stuck in my mind and I feel like I want to repurchase them over and over again.
Hair
Batiste is my favorite dry shampoo for one reason. It smells nice (especially my favorite scent Tropical) and it decreases my hair nicely. The perfect product for refreshing the hair, when you don't have time to wash it. Review here.
Joico K-Pak Color Therapy shampoo and conditioner are my favorite shampoo and conditioner until now. They smell amazingly salon good and they make the hair feel very soft. I feel like they clean it nicely and still nourish it afterwards. Smooth ans shiny hair, guaranteed. Review here.
Kerastase Nutritive Nectar Thermique is one of those heat activated masks. It for dry hair and it really does make my hair feel moisturized and it smells absolutely amazing. Summery sun screen cream kind of scent. It's the best product for when you're in a hurry and don't have time to use the regular hair masks. Plus when you dry the hair with a hair dryer it makes the hair so soft. Review here.
Kerastase Reflection Chroma Riche is one of those product that you don't need to wash out. It feels like a serum that makes hair very shiny and smooth. I like it, because it gives that extra shine, plus it also smells really nicely. Kind of fruity. It's just a really nice finish product that will make your hair even softer. Review here.
Avon Advance Technique Moroccan Argan Oil is a great hair oil. It has that amazing bubble gum Avon smell and it feels like it does something to the hair. I have very fine hair and this doesn't weight them down in any way. Plus it's not too greasy. It just makes the hair smooth and nourishes. Great product to use whenever you feel like the hair has become too dry. Review here.
Nails
Ebelin Express nail polish remover. If you haven't tried that kind of system of removing the nail polish, please do. You'll never go back to the regular nail polish remover. I don't need to say anything more, than it is just very quick and effective. Finger in, swirl and done. Review here.
Models Own Diamong Luxe in Heart Red is my favorite red nail polish. Is orange based with gold glitter - hello?! Totally my kind of color. I also love the fact that it's really long lasting. Review here.
Kiko Quick Dry nail polish is one of the fastest drying nail polishes. I love it because of that and the fact that it's as well, really long lasting. I just hope, I get the chance to buy some more of their nail polishes. The color is 829 and it's really dark purple, which is also a really pretty alternative to a regular black nail polish. Maybelline Colorama in 317 is one of those pretty fuchsia mix of pink and purple shade that I've been wearing a lot, since I got it. It's just a really unique shade, especially perfect for spring and summer. Maybelline is also one of my favorite nail polish brands in general. Review here.
Essence Effect Nail Polish in 21 Icy Fairy is by far the coolest effect top coat nail polish of this year. Pair it with a black nail polish and you get the perfect galaxy nail with no effort at all. Review here.
Skin care
Avon Planet Spa Thailand Lotus Flower Deep Pore Cleansing face mask is surprisingly good. I'm still not happy about the price of this little size, but I don't use it often. It deeply cleanses my pores and all the ugliness comes out to the surface. The skin is extremely clean and pores as well. Unfortunately the effect doesn't last long, because my pores tend to refill quickly. But it really does, what it says.
Avon Planet Spa Perfectly Purifying face mask with Dead Sea Minerals is an exfoliating mask. I think it has some enzymes in it. You're suppose to use very little of it at once and it's also for sensitive skin. I can confirm that. It feels like the top layer of the skin has been gently removed and the skin feels extremely smooth after using it. Really like it.
Dr. Sheller Jojoba Oil and Schisandra Soothing Intensive Serum for sensitive skin is my favorite face serum of all time. I think I have repurchased it four times. I'm never not using this. My skin tends to get very irritated and this helps to calm it down and get rid of any red spots. Amazing product for sensitive skin. Review here.
Makeup brushes
Real Techniques Blush Brush is amazingly soft and really big. I love using it for the bronzer, because it's so soft and it doesn't pick up a lot of product. Plus it's tapered, so it blend the product amazingly. Really really soft huge brush for multiple uses. Review here.
Zoeva 105 Luxe Highlight brush is again really soft brush that can be used for various parts of the face. It's medium size and it fits in many corners of the face. I love it for putting on the highlighter ad well as contouring under the cheek bone. It can also be used to put on powder under the eyes or something like that. Definitely versatile brush. I haven't reviewed this one yet, but it's already my favorite. It's the Elf Blush Brush. More on the small side for a blush brush and it's a bit flatter, although also tapered. It's extremely soft and very cheap. This is amazing for applying on the blush. Perfect size for putting it on the cheeks or for putting on the highlighter. Love this brush, especially because it's really cheap.
Eye makeup
Makeup Revolution I Am Naked palette has two matte shades, one slightly shimmery and three really shimmery shades. It's a very natural kind of selection. The matte shades are amazing quality. I especially like the shimmery shades in this palette. Just, really my kind of shades. Review here.
Makeup Revolution Salvation Palette in Run Boy Run has an amazing selection of eye shadows for a really affordable price. The shades are really my kind of shades and I really like the shimmery shades. Especially copper, taupe and brown shades. The matte shades are not as pigmented as the shimmery ones, but still very good. This is one of those palettes that give you just enough color to not be boring with neutral shades on a daily bases. Avon True Color eye shadow palette in Mocha Latte has amazingly good quality of matte shades. The shades are very neutral and you get two very matte shades, perfect for in the crease. I'm sure I'll purchase more of these palettes in the future. Review here.
L'Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim eyeliner is my favorite eyeliner. It's in a pen form, which is very practical for every day use. I also love that it's really black and it last a really long time. Only problem I have with it, is the fact that it sometimes transfers onto my lids. lt does need a bit of time to dry completely. Review here.
Face makeup
Elf Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder in St. Lucia. I love this bronzer. It's a bit warm tones and it goes perfectly with my skin tone. I find that it blends nicely and it's really rally cheap. What more can I ask for. Review here.
Mac Sheertone Blush in Pinched is my first Mac blush and I love it. A bit more transparent or sheer blush and the shade suits me really nicely. It has that brick undertone, but looks kind of peachy on my skin tone. Review here.
P2 Glow Up Highlighter in High Beam is a fairly new discovery and already my favorite. It's also very sheer highlighter with a golden sheen, but looks kind of pink. Really unique shade, plus the formula is just amazing. Review here.
Terra Naturi Shimmer Powder in 01 Golden Highlight is my favorite highlighter of all time. I've raved about this too much, so I won't anymore. It's perfect golden bronzy shade and the shimmer is really small, so it's also pretty subtle. Review here.
Milani Baked Blush in 05 Luminoso is perfect peach blush. I love love peach blushes and this one looks so natural, plus it has a bit of shimmer, so it makes you look really glowy. It's also pretty affordable. Review here.
Lips
Bourjois Rouge Edition 12 hours lipstick in 33 is my perfect redish pink shade. It's amazingly unique shade and the formula is a dream. Looks semi matte and it doesn't dry out the lips at all. Definitely would buy more, if I could find the shades that I'd like. Review here.
Mac Velvet Teddy lipstick is a new addition. Matte finish and warm brown shade that makes my lips look just a tad bit bigger. I love brown shades and the finish of this one is amazing. Review here.
Mac Patisserie lipstick is one of the rare pinkish shades that look good on me. It's a Lustre finish, which means pretty moisturizing and very comfortable to wear. A really good mix of brown, peach and pink shades and very nice finish. Review here.
Perfume
One scent that really impressed me this year is by Refan and it's inspired by Dior Hypnotic Poison. This smells so warm, seductive and strong. It's an amazing scent that will sure get you noticed. If you love sweet vanilla musk scents, than this is definitely for you.
