Today's review is about a complimentary product to one of Dr.Sheller's that I already reviewed. You can read the review here. Since I liked their serum so much, I decided to try the cream as well.

This product is supposed to be soothing moisturizing care, which reduces light redness and offers lasting protection against the development of new skin irritations. It's designed for sensitive skin, which mine is.

The cream is white and a bit thicker. It's thin enough to spread easily on the skin. It also soaks in really quickly. Behind, it leaves a moisturizing, somewhat sheen on the skin, but the feeling is very matte. The cream has a pretty subtle smell, nothing offensive and it does not smell like the serum. I feel like the cream has more neutral smell, although nothing distinctive that I could describe.

I like that it's not too heavy, which a lot of creams for sensitive skin are. I like that it dries and soaks quickly and it definitely makes my skin less irritated. I feel like the combination of serum and cream work great as far as reducing any irritations on sensitive skin. If you're skin is very sensitive, then this is a great cream.

However, it has a problem. The problem being that if you touch the skin after you've put on the cream or start to put on other product over it, it literally starts to peel off. The more you try to rub the skin, the more the cream starts to peel off. Such a shame, because I really like the benefits of using this cream on my skin. I noticed this when I applied foundation over it with a brush and my face started peeling off. Not good.

Now, I use the cream whenever my skin feels really irritated. I mostly use it at night, because then this is my last step in the routine. I also spread the cream with a very light pressure and quickly. Once this sets, it's better not to touch it. It won't come off, unless you rub it.

It costs something around 10 € (13$ or 8£) and you get 41 grams of product.

I think I won't be buying this cream again. It's a shame, because it works great with my skin, but I just can't be bothered to only use it when I know I won't be putting anything on top. And even that I have to do quickly and in a fairly thin layer.

Apart from Slovenian bloggers, others may not know about our Slovenian brand called Afrodita Cosmetics. I thought I would write a short post featuring one of my favorite Afrodita products, that I've tried so far. It's kind of unfair how many times we write and rave about foreign makeup and skincare brands and forget about ours. I know I do. So, maybe you'll find some product that'll spark you're interest and support our local brand.

I chose three products that I absolutely love. It's chamomile nourishing cream, chamomile moisturizing cream and massage oil.

I had those two creams for a while and I think this is my second packaging. When it comes to creams I really use the tiniest amount and that's why I don't try a lot of new things, because I just don't use them up as quickly. 

Chamomile nourishing cream

The chamomile nourishing cream I use in the winter time or on any dry patches, which I sometimes get around my nose and in between the brows. It's very heavy therefore pretty greasy. It's definitely one for those with dry to dehydrated normal skin. The cream is very thick in consistency, therefore pretty heavy on the skin. It's the best thing for dry winter, because it really nourishes the skin an definitely combats dry patches. The whole chamomile line is designed for sensitive skin and my skin loves it. As you may know, I do have sensitive skin and many creams don't work for me - this one does. When used on the skin it does leave a slight shiny layer. It has no defining smell. 

Chamomile moisturizing cream

The next is  chamomile moisturizing cream. This one is a lot lighter in texture, but still feels moisturizing. It feels lighter on the skin and it also soaks into the skin a lot quicker then previous. It almost gives the skin a matte finish. In my opinion it's the best version of cream for combination to oily skin and normal skin. It gives moisture, but doesn't leave any greasiness or shininess on the skin. It has no defining smell whatsoever. 

The packaging of both is a plastic pot with a screw on top. There's 50 ml of cream in each pot. It lasts a really long time - at least for me, because you really don't need much to cover the entire face. I'm not sure about the price, because it was a while ago, when I bought it, but I think it's around 13 €.

I also like that they promise that their products contain up to 96.5% of ingredients of natural origin and that they supposedly select organically produced ingredients. On those creams also says paraben and paraffin free, which is always a plus.

Apart from selling product for home use, they also have certain products that are used only in wellness, spa centers, hair salons and professional cosmetic salons. Now they offer some of those professional products to costumers in the stores. My friend bought me this massage oil with jojoba and I love it! It's supposedly used in professional spa centers.

Massage oil with jojoba

First of all it smells d-i-v-i-n-e! The smell is described as sweet vanilla and I agree. Smells like a freshly baked cookies. Every time I use it, I get hungry. It's very oily, spreads nicely and what I like the most, you can massage the hell out of it and it will still be greasy enough to move your hands over the body. It does soak up after a while. It says it's jojoba oil and shea butter and it's from 100% natural oils. It's also paraben paraffin, silicone and preservative free.

The packaging is plastic. There's a hole, so you can pour out as much oil as you want. It of course gets a bit messy, like with all the oils. There's 150 ml of oil in the packaging and it uses up really slowly - surprisingly. I used it a lot of times and still looks like I just used a very little of it. The price is a little over 3 €.

Oh and to clear it up, I did not get those products for free, I actually bought them all (except the oil - I got it as a gift from friend). Because I did put a few links in the post, I didn't want you to get the wrong idea. My posts are always clear about that, anyway.

Yet another product from my Ecco Verde purchase. This one has to be my favorite of the whole purchase. I was afraid of using oils, because my skin is combination to oily and thought that oils would just make me produce more oils or clog my pores. But then the oils are like so popular now, so I kind of decided to buy this one, which is also good for sensitive skin, like mine.

The Intensive Serum is a highly concentrated special skincare product for the soothing of sensitive skin. It effectively diminishes redness, offers lasting protection against the development of new skin irritations and strengthens its protective barrier. 

Here is the ingredients list: 

I really liked this serum. It's basically like an oil serum. The texture is pretty oily and somewhat opaque white. I use three drops for my entire face and neck. Now the smell. I admit it bothered me in the beginning. To me it smells like a natural smell of oil. I don't know how jojoba or schisandra smell, but the smell is very natural, therefore might be disturbing for those who like your products to smell nice. I feel like putting on olive oil, because olive oil to me also smells, and not nice. I got used to the smell, because of the benefits that I saw on my skin. Once you put the oil on the face, you have to massage it in quickly, because it completely soaks in the skin in the matter of 3 minutes. I love that. It leaves behind a slightly sticky surface, but not greasy. I can start putting on makeup or moisturizer or go to sleep without worrying of oil staining my bedding. I use it in the morning and in the evening. 

My skin feels a lot more hydrated. But what I really like about it, my skin is a lot less irritated. It really does ditch the redness in my face. Skin is not irritated, or red. I even squeezed out my pimples and put this one after the cleansing and I swear it reduced the redness on the spot of that pimple. I can't say anything more than exceptional product for moisturizing without feeling greasy and the best product for sensitive or irritated skin, prone to redness. 

The product comes in a glass dark bottle with dropper, so it's easy to measure the right amount of product. It contains 30 ml of serum and costs 11.89 €, which I think it's a fair price for a serum. It also lasts a really long time, since you literally need only two to three drops. 

Now I saw that their should also be a soothing moisturizing care in this range - like a cream. I think I should try it. If anyone has tried it, please let me know.
