Olival AHA PHA Peeling Toner
This is a very simple, short ingredients list, yet effective gentle toner. It contains mandelic acid, gluconolactone and lactobionic acid. There is also some glycerin, panthenol and hyaluronic acid. I like it. It's gentle, doesn't irritate my skin, yet it still feels like it does a good job of daily exfoliating my skin and helping with cell turnover on the top layer of the skin. I am currently testing a bunch of Olival skin care product, so I'm sure I'll have more of them in my favorites.
Biore Skin Aqua Super Moisture UV Gel SPF50+ PA++++
This is one of those super lightweight SPF creams. The texture reminds me a bit of La Roche-Posay Shaka Fluid, but it's less greasy and has more of a water finish. It does leave a bit of glow, but nothing too much. There is a slight alcohol scent to it in the beginning, but it's not irritating. It's chemical SPF and it shouldn't leave any white cast. I like it under makeup as well as on its own. Honestly, you can't go wrong with most popular Korean and Japanese SPFs.
Missha Perfect Cover B.B. Cream - 23 and Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation - 51W Light Vanilla
I've been trying to use foundations that don't have that obvious medium to full coverage and this is my current combo. Missha's BB cream is very grey toned and Bourjois is yellow, so I mix the two to get that light to medium coverage and somewhat of a good match. The combo is a bit more glowy than I am used to, but I do use a good amount of powder to set it as well as setting spray and I still need to powder it through the day. However, I like the natural finish on the skin and the fact that it's not completely covering my skin.
e.l.f. Lash Xtndr Mascara
This is a tubing mascara which means it creates tubes around your lashes so it holds on like a waterproof version, but it's a lot easier to remove. You can remove it with just warm water. I'll admit that sometimes removing this takes more time than my regular mascaras, but I feature it in my favorites, because I was trying it out for my professional kit and it holds really well. If you have problem with smudging on the lower lid, this will absolutely help. A bride already reported back that it didn't move and she loved it. I especially like it on the bottom lashes. It's quite lengthening and it does give you a good amount of volume as well. Plus it's so affordable, you really can't go wrong with it.
NYX Lip I.V. Hydrating Gloss Serum - 02 Hydra-Honey
This is all I have been wearing on my lips ever since I got it. It's one of those Asian type of super smooth and lightweight glosses that feel like a lip balm, but it has the shine and it leaves stain. The color looks more warm brown once I put it on, but as the shine wears off I am left with nice mauve shade. This is great for those long days when you don't have time to check on your lips. It just wear with you and still gives you color even as it wears off. I will say, if you have dry lips, this will emphasize and cling to dry patches like any lip tint. I also love petal shaped applicator, because it's so easy to apply it precisely and it holds just enough product so you don't have to dip in again.
Because it feels like summer outside, I have switched to my more clean and fresh perfumes and this is basically the only one such that I have in my collection. It has top notes of freesia, bergamot and mint, base notes of peony, white rose, white lotus and base notes of musk, heliotrope and sandalwood. You would think this is floral, but it's actually more of a clean powdery scent. It's very soft and feminine, inoffensive and pure. This is type of fragrance I wear when I don't want anything overpowering or sickening or when everything is just too much. Avon really nailed it with this scent.
