Don't know what it is, but I'm just having too much fun with Easter this year. The spirit got into me and I created a nail art that looks like Easter eggs painted in an ombre style. And then the eggs look like quail eggs, which are just so adorable and I wish I would have those at home to color, instead of the regular ones.

I started with a foam on which I drew three lines of different colored nail polishes. I used lavender violet on the top, baby blue in the middle and lime green at the ends. 

Then I just pressed the foam over the nails. I think I went in with the color two times. There are still little spots were the nail is seen through, but I don't mind that. 

At the end I used a polka dot nail polish and slapped those dots over the ombre. This really is extremely easy to do and I love the end result.

Hey Beauties!

Recently I had a chance to get my hands on MAC products again, but I chose the wrong shade. I got this MAC pro longwear concealer in NC20, because I thought it was a good match - wrong! It's much too dark for me. The undertone actually suits me, because I do have warmer undertone, but the color is just way off. So, if any of you would like to try it, please write me on adjusting.beauty@gmail.com and I'll send it to you.

There's 9 ml of concealer. It's a glass bottle with a pump, so no worries of my bacteria coming to you. I tried it literally twice and decided that it's just not my shade. I got it from MAC Italy and it cost 19.16 €, so I'm selling it for 18 € or 15 £ or 25 $. I do hope that I am able to send it internationally. If you're not from Slovenia, contact me anyway and I'll see what I can arrange.

I know my swatch is not the best, but I didn't wanted to waste more product. I'm sure if you google it, you'll get better comparisons.

Yesterday I had too much energy and I directed it all in a small Easter decoration project. My mom is the one in the family, who always makes decorations for pretty much most of the seasons. Her decorations go all around the house and even some in front of the house. It's one of those things that she really likes to do. I had to step up my game and show her that the genes weren't completely lost with me, haha :).

Glitter Eggs

I found glitter eggs on Pinterest and decided that I absolutely need to do this. Who doesn't like glitter? If you would like to see where I got the idea, just click here.

So, I did the same thing as described their. I bought styrofoam eggs and put then on little skewer (I learned this word just now, haha). I used Mod Podge to apply all over the eggs and then pour on the glitter. I used silver, gold and copper glitter. After that I let it dry by sticking skewer into soil of one of the plants. After few hours I sprayed it with a hair spray to initially prevent glitters from falling off, but you know how it is with glitter. I made 5 glitter eggs and put them in a glass jar. Underneath I put a little of the paper grass. It was really simple and I really liked my room decor to be a bit more glittery, than it was until now :).

Easter arrangement

The next thing I did was a little arrangement inspired by Easter. I used little piece of a grape vine and sprayed it with one of those transparent protective sprays for wood. Before that, I also needed to smooth the surface of it with sandpaper. Then all I did was use a glue gun and started gluing on the things I found at home. 

I made a little nest out of feathers and put on small eggs. Those eggs look like a quail eggs, but are actually plastic. I found two little chickens and glued them on at the end.

At the middle I glued on this plant, which I believe is called Catkins and placed a plastic rabbit in the center. 

At the other end I made three more glitter eggs different sizes and glued them on as well. I also had a little yellow bow and glued it in front of them. I also found wooden lady bugs and placed them on the places that were left a bit more empty. 

So simple to make, but I really like how it looks. The best thing is that you can glue on whatever you like and really make it personalized to what you like.

Here I photographed just some of the decorations my mom already has around the house. I am sure there will be more, but this is what we have for now :).

I have another great hair product! I love good hair products that make my hair smell and look nice. When it comes to the quality, I love using more expensive hair products, because they just seem to work better than others. 

I've only purchased one Kérastase product, so this is my second and it's a hit again. It's from their Nutritive line and it's called Nectar Thermique. It's a nourishing care for dry to very dry hair. It's a leave in and also heat-styling protective agent. I love multi-purposed products. Especially for the hair! My hair is greasy at the roots and very dry at the ends or around most of my length. 

This product makes my hair feel pretty soft and definitely moisturized and nourished. I think it's a good treatment for dry hair. But the thing I love the most about it, is the fact that it's also a heat protectant. I blow dry my hair, pretty much every time I clean them, so this makes my hair look amazing. It's like a hair mask that gets better with the heat. I love this.

The consistency is something between a milk and light cream. It's white, not to thick, not to thin and it applies like a dream. I literally use only almond size amount for my whole hair. It spreads easily and the thing that makes this product my favorite is the smell. OH MY GOD! It smells soooo good! The smell is something like summer :). By that I mean it smells pretty much like a sunscreen product. My hair smell so good after I use this. I am obsessed with smelling my hair (I know, it's a really weird picture seeing me smell my own hair). It really is a a great product.

Here are the ingredients.

There's 150 ml of product in the packaging, which is plastic and easy to squeeze out wanted amount of the product. I have been using it a lot and I still feel like I have more than half of it. You really need the smallest amount. That's great, because the product is not cheap, around 22€. 

I also bought similar version of this product from their Resistance line, which is more for damaged hair. I've reviewed that product here. The main difference between those two is that Nutritive makes my hair soft and moisturized, but the Resistance makes it also a lot straighter and gives more shine. It also makes my ends look a lot better than the Nutritive. However, the Resistance smells of cucumbers - not my favorite smell and Nutritive smells so incredible. Nutritive contains 150 ml, Resistance 125 ml. That's also a difference.

I would say both products are amazing, pretty expensive, but I think wort all the money. Especially because you really need so little to get the effect have a fabulous blow out. Decide for Resistance if you have more damaged hair and want the ends to look incredible, plus have a really straight hair. If you're hair is dry and you're looking for a good nourishing heat protectant that also smells incredible on the hair, then go for Nutritive. 

I love them both for different purposes and use both. Nutritive for when I want nice smelling hair and Resistance for when I want my hair to look flawless in terms of mostly my split ends.
